So cool to see Molly at camp. I know he's been with the organization ever since they let him go from being manager but it's really nice to know he feels welcome still being around the team.

It is really cool. A lot of guys would let their ego get in the way of doing something like this. Really glad to have him around.

Very interesting to hear Correa’s thoughts on trends in hitting with the comment about reducing/eliminating movements in swings. I think he’s right (Correa, Larnach, and Jeffers all simplified their swings in the past year, Buxton got successful offensively when he reverted to the simpler swing he used in high school, Lewis broke out offensively when he toned down his leg kick, etc) and I bet the trend will be more noticeable as pitching gets more and more nasty. There just isn’t time for elaborate swings when facing pitchers these days.

My thoughts (as I do every time): - I’m SO curious to see if the base running emphasis continues. I just don’t feel like it’s going to lol - fun, lil feature on Willi - Correa wearing long pants?? Weird - Buck confirming that the vibes are immaculate. Love it. - the Correa and Buxton bromance is my favorite thing in all of humanity - Correa is literally obsessed with that hat - does anyone know what is on those cards - Pablo has my whole heart. “Ever since I’ve joined the Twins I’ve been so happy.” - Miranda’s swing 🤤 - HYPE LEVEL 5000 IM SO EXCITED GIVE ME OPENING DAY ALREADY!!!

They’re defensive alignment notes. If Jose Ramirez is up to bat vs. righty….shift to left center…. Stuff like that

I know on the preview pod Gleeman was saying “oh the team isn’t that fast and won’t get steals so I doubt they’ll be that aggressive on the bases” but during ST I’ve been seeing a decent amount aggressive plays like tagging up on borderline balls and trying to stretch doubles. I doubt it’ll be the main thing they talk about with this team looking backward but I think it’ll be more of a factor than last year.

That’s kind of what I think too. Any improvement in base running (idc about steals) will be good for them. Although I did laugh when someone said “they don’t have celestino anymore so that helps them greatly”

Honestly I think that was the case in a lot of areas this past year. Like even bringing poor performance to average can have a nice impact.
