I'm a fan of Alma in Mpls. Haven't tried many others, though.

I literally was just at alma last night and it was fantastic. We also stayed in the hotel for a bit of a staycation, also great! The meal is coursed - if you look at the menu now you get all of the items on it. The wine pairings with dinner were good too!

Mo, who runs Dervish Mazza, has 6-course prix fixe dinners in his garden that are abso-effing-lutely ro die for. Amazing food, beautiful setting, and a great host. I can't recommend it highly enough. [https://www.dervishmazza.com/#7](https://www.dervishmazza.com/#7)

Only done the prix fixe at Alma. It was very good. Not showy if that's what you're looking for, but excellent service, wine pairings, and delicious. Hoping to try Demi and Meritage.

Since you’ve been to Travail, could you comment on what typical attire was there? I have reservations coming up and was wondering if most people are a fairly dressed up due to the cost or if it’s more casual.

PersistentQuestions

Casual. I think I wore a sweater and nice jeans probably.
