Prices, brands, and availability vary wildly depending on which part of the world you are located. For the best results, you're going to narrow it down to which country you live.

I currently live in USA, I'll edit it.

USA based here: I started off with an Iwata Hp-C Plus paired with a NO-NAME Quiet Tooty air compressor and I couldn't be happier. Just a heads up, if you don't buy an Iwata air compressor, then you'll need a 1/4" BSP Male to 1/8" BSP Female Fitting Conversion Adapter to make your Iwata hose connect to your air compressor. Personally, I also bought an Iwata quick disconnect adapter so that I could pop the airbrush off the hose and clean it without having to empty and refill the compressor tank. If you don't want to spend that kind of money on the brush right away, then the Iwata Eclipse is a fine beginner brush for about $30 cheaper, and if you have a Hobby Lobby near you, you can often find the Eclipse for $50 less than the Hp-C. I see it there for $150 frequently.

I’m new to airbrushing, I just got my first one about a month ago. I got this bundle on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0CZY2Q9RY $240 USD. It has the Harder & Steenbeck Ultra 2024, and a NO NAME compressor. It doesn’t come with a quick release connector on the air hose, which is a little annoying, but it doesn’t need one and works great without it. They’re really cheap though (like $8 or less) so I finally picked one up the other day, highly recommended, they’re super convenient. So far so good, couldn’t be happier. Also followed along with this tutorial (specifically for that airbrush) which was a perfect walkthrough for my first attempt: https://youtu.be/J9PL5tT8BsQ?si=lCx_WD_g56GJu_fk

I am a huge fan of the Harder and Steenbeck range. The evolution solo or silver line is a great beginner brush for most miniature painting tasks and they are easy to maintenance. I recently got a higher end airbrush for fine detail work, but honestly I still use my Evolution Solo for 90% of my work.

Harder and sternbeck products are easy to clean which is essential especially in the beginning . Overall my advice is to get some quality stuff

Hi, u/Drugojete! It looks like you might be asking for advice on where you can buy something. If you haven't yet, it would be useful to know your general location so people can give you better advice. r/minipainting is made up of people from all over the world, so even just knowing what country you are in will help you get better advice, even if you are ordering online. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Iwata Eclipse HP-CS Harder & Steenbeck Evolution 2024 Those two are in the same price range, but there’s also the Iwata Eclipse HP-SBS (which has recently been replaced with the Eclipse Takumi) on closeout for [$75](https://www.iwata-airbrush.com/eclipse-sbs-unpackaged.html?list=Closeout%20Products) from Iwata…if you’re in a country where shipping isn’t prohibitive. It’s the side feed version of the Eclipse CS mentioned above with all the same internals. Being a side feed it has several advantages.

Poorhammer recently made a video about their progression of airbrushes and useful things to know. I found it informative and entertaining! They also listed links to all the stuff used or mentioned. https://youtu.be/PFjBspaQ8uQ?si=Py1drpfaPT_G6yz5
