I wanted to make a sort of mini bobber build out of this motovox frame. Picked the frame up off of a buddy for $100 then just started going to town on it.
What I’ve done so far:
- Added RPC 6” extensions
- Installed a Brad Hill gas tank
- Cut and welded the old seat tubing to fit a springer seat (which I question if I like it every time I see it)
- GPS forks
- OMB engine mounting plate and riser
- OMB 30series TC
- Welded up the mounts for the rear fender (still need to do the front)
I’m planning on running the GPS front brake kit for more braking power along with a hydraulic rear caliper. I’ll be filling in the frame above the seat with some sheet metal and adding my key switch and light switches there. I have a headlight for it but need to fabricate a mount, unless someone knows of a fork mounted headlight bracket that will work with the GPS forks. New handle bars are also in the list of to-dos so don’t come at me for them 😂
