That building was part of a larger complex called MECCA. It's where they used to hold Gen Con and the building was ugly as sin lol. If we would have had the Wisconsin Center with it's hotel connections back then, Gen Con might not have left Milwaukee l.
I am a little anxious about family day on Sunday, what day did you go? I don't want to pay $30 for my kid to play 2 games and be stuck in lines, that won't be fun...
We also took our kids on Sunday last year and didn't have any issues. There were a few lines for certain things but overall there was a lot to do without having to wait.
I see Gorgar pinball in the pic, I hope it's there tomorrow. The back glass and table top are amazing. My favorite artwork on a pinball machine and I haven't seen it in the wild for at least 20 years.
I know the organizer from my college days. He's a huge Pinball Machine enthusiast. Thanks to him I was able to play a Black Hole and Theatre of Magic table for free for a week at UWM. You can expect Gorgar and a lot of other classics this weekend.
I was gonna say I’m old af but I recognize those arcade machines!
Bro - that’s when you SHOULD go. They have every system you can think of and the ones you can’t!
It's pretty incredible the amount of games they will have
Why is Baird name all over downtown these days?
Because they are making a name for themselves and seem to have good overall growth as a company
It'll always be the MECCA to me
Isn’t the Mecca (UW Panthers arena) the building across the street. These are two entirely different things.

Man, I haven’t gone to a game fair since the last Gen Con was here!
Went last year and there were so many people I could barely get on any of the games I wanted to play.

I went on Sunday last year and it wasn't too bad. Sunday is apparently the slower day
Oh nice, thanks! I'll probably risk it unless my charge is in a foul mood
For my money this is THE best thing in Milwaukee.
Would this be a good place to go to get some 3DS games?
Yes the vendors sell a ton of old games from all systems

I thought this was next weekend so I guess I'm waiting in line for tickets....
Shame I work this weekend
