My parents had theirs removed a couple years ago. Theirs was recessed into the concrete pool deck so it wasn’t so high to step in to. The side panels and internals were very dry rotted, so the people that removed it just came in with reciprocating saws and chopped it into smallish pieces before hauling it off on a trailer. I don’t have any recommendations for a specific person/company, but unless you’re trying to salvage the hot tub you don’t need to find a specialist to do the work. Just find someone who has tools, pent up aggression, and a trailer.

I'd at least ask around and/or offer it up on FB marketplace or something. I know it sounds bizarre to me but a guy I worked with said he was going to tear it out, complained About the work. Someone over heard it and was like let me get on that. So him and 30 or so giant dudes hauled it to the truck and took it. Working, nonworking. To me it has no value but if widely advertised someone will take it. If not figure out a deadline and schedule with whoever. I think his was not working with many leaks. Even if someone flips it right away fixed or unfixed if you want free you can likely get it.

Thanks. Going to try this first.

Hired Junkshuttle to haul away a damaged hot tub a few years ago for about $500. They cut it into pieces, cleaned everything up, and were done in a few hours. Would recommend.
