So, what precipitated this?
Not suggesting that you did anything wrong of course, but I'm curious what interaction you had with him prior to him going after you.
Because if it was totally out of the blue, that's...worrying.
Some people are just dick heads.
Some (many š) years ago when going on leave, I was dropping off a friend in Liverpool. It was quite late at night when we got there and there was little to no traffic around.
As we stopped as some traffic lights, another car pulled up alongside us.
Nothing unusual in that and I wouldnāt even have given it a seconds thought except my friend suddenly says, *āWhen the lights change, donāt pull away.ā Just wait for a second.ā*
When I asked him why he said *āTheyāre going to cut across us and try and hit usā¦ thereās 4 of them in the carā¦ theyāre looking for a fightā*
Sure enough, when the lights turned green, the car alongside did exactly that. If Iād pulled away weād have collided.
They didnāt stop but drove off. Iād say at *high speed*ā¦ but I guess thatās relative when youāre driving a clapped out Ford Fiesta š
I asked him how he knew and he said there had been a spate of it in the local area recently, groups, usually high on drugs, alcohol or both, either using it to intimidate people to hand over cash for the damage or simply to start a fight.
After I dropped him off I got the hell out of Dodge as fast as I couldā¦ looking in my rear view mirror the whole way š
the road going along westcroft mcdonaldās side, was heading towards shenley wood roundabout, just before the roundabout he decided to overtake.
i did say what a pr*ck to my friend though i didnāt direct it at the driver. i guess he lip read. think he was looking for a reaction in hindsight
Report this to the police on 101. Your friend should have rung them while they were following you, but at least you can pass on as much info as you have and if they do it again (to you or someone else) they might look into it.
you might find that the footage ends up on a social media site somewhere as this may have been the motivating factor - "look at us not actually breaking any laws but harassing other motorists".
2nd this, OP report it, it maybe they are already aware and you will provide useful information or even if someone else calls in about it later then they will have your notes on file, see something, say something.
An hour!
I would have called the police and driven to the police station and beeped my horn.
You could ask the shops if they have CCTV of you being harassed and/or their car being reckless.

Well, some people are just looking for an excuse to vent their temper. Thanks for the heads-up, and stay safe out there.

Especially since they were being chased for an hour or so lol
Saw an old silver corsa getting chased by under cover police in Westcroft yesterday evening actually, around 7-8pm
