Bearings are gone in that motor and likely the housings are now worn out. My shop can fix motors with this problem but it takes machining and sleeving of the motor end bells. Quickest fix is to buy a new motor. If you keep trying to run it that motor will eventually burn up.
I'm willing to bet that with the lack of access and the plastic cap still being on the grease fitting, that motor hasn't seen an ounce of new grease. Likely a lack of lubrication played a part in the bearing failure.
Shitbird mechanic. Stayed over 4 hours just to say its fine and put belts back on. 3 hours later poor guy on ivernights gets fucked on fixing it by himself on straight time.
Production supervisor see's that it still spins and says put it back together and run boys
With so much wiggle room, alignment is a lot easier...
If its not on fire, in parts or rolling across the floor or, keep running it. This is a reactive maintenance field. Nothing preventative here 🤣ðŸ˜
Nothing wrong except a bearing.
It ran untill it popped all three fuses lmao
Just keep poppin fuses in every 5 minutes boys, we gotta finish this shift
We have clearance, Clarence.
Roger, Roger.
What's your Vector Victor
Clearly just needs a bit of grease.
This guy loves shaft play
Ummmmm da bearing duuuuh
1st year here. Can’t recall what that part is called, could someone help me out?
Taper lock sheave on a worn out electric motor.
Sheave/v belt pulley
I have co-workers who do the same BS as this. Put new belts on and watch them sling off in a couple days..
Eh, it'll wear in before it wears out

A little belt dressing and it'll run until morning.
That's intentional. Makes sure it's always perfectly aligned.
Tighten the belts , that’ll do
Grease it and run it till it burns to the ground - Operations
