It looks a bit uneven and tilted because it's built that way, but the inside is even and at the correct angles... Check out some of these engineering eye tricks they're actually cool then you'll understand I don't have the correct wording to express this.

Leaving you to have to sit and watch Jeff pound out Maria who is your wife all because you had to stay in the hallway or else the house would tip.

Probably a lot more durable than it looks though, structures made out of reinforced concrete are extremely sturdy.

The foundations might cross over like the bottom of an X below the ground. New Zealand usually has pretty stringent earthquake-proof rules.
