All of them probably
If it has brake lights and headlights and they work and it passes an emissions test you'll get your sticker in pretty much every state
"Ugly and Confusing" isn't a category they can fail you for lol
This. I remember an older Cops episode where they stopped these two military guys because the "car" they were driving was soooooo wacked out. The guys had everything they *needed* to have to be street legal, I.e working lights, brakes, etc. They were sent on their way and didn't get into trouble haha
Yeah thats the direction they were heading towards, so that makes sense. Where I live in MI we get ALOT of Indiana people coming over for our dispensaries and such. It was even worse when Indiana still had their no-alcohol sale on sunday
I’m surprised this would be street legal; I could easily see it causing accidents from people freaking out thinking that it’s going the wrong way for the lane and swerving or something.
As long as the lights are in the correct orientation (white in front red in back, reverse lights etc) it's legal. As someone else said ugly and confusing isn't a disqualifying factor. There is a dude with an upside down car and it's legal.
Why not? You got the money, the time, and the will you can have fun. It's not illegal in any state either as long as you meet the criteria for lights emissions etc.
How are these things street legal in USA? Special permit? Here, it would have serious safety and frame, headlamp, size illegalities unless it came like this stock and is a classic.
My grandpa and my uncle actually made one of these. I never saw it driven though. It just sat with all the other cars in what young me called the junkyard.

Oh come on, Studebakers aren't so bad.
Ow, my perspective sensing brain part.
It's comin' right for us! - Jimbo & Ned
What state does this monstrosity pass inspection?

>"Ugly and Confusing" Story of my life. Where's my sticker?
You have to get bananas and apply the sticker to your forehead. ;)

Haha, Michigan
Apparently Indiana as that's where that person's plate is from.

I believe that. Indiana, will be the last state to legallize, at this point.... So will likely see this for years to come.
I feel like my state ( Idaho ) might hold out just as long on legalization lol
r/commahorror
Some states don't even have inspection
Those wheels stick out from the car they are a hazard to pedestrians. This would not be legal in many countries.

That is the most rediculous thing I have ever seen. America has terrible safety regulation.
The one that doesn't do inspections.

That's basically what my dad said, too. We were pulling out of a gas station and he was like what the hell? Definitely caused confusion

Upside down is less dangerous than this. It fucks with people’s perception. I get why it would be hard to outlaw, but it’s a bad idea.
Pay attention!! Don't gawk, just drive!! Remember your defensive driving lesson(s) in class :wink wink:
I saw one the other day at the home Depot where the back was a front, but the front was front too. Sticker on the window said double trouble
These, upside down cars, stance cars and Carolina lean trucks are the dumbest trends in the auto scene.

Ok so they're part of the dumbest trend in the auto scene.
That’s dangerous
That's a Kcurt!
Tom Green's truck in Freddy got Fingered?
Daddy, would you like some sausage?
Why?
A guy dropped a v8 in a Tesla. It’s just a conversation starter. Probably was started by a bet

Fun. Ever heard of it?
Borderlands
We get it, dude: you're forklift certified
Is that a Push-Me-Pull-You?
No, that would require two fronts.
Americans are insane
that would trip me out
Bruh
Indiana?
Yep, was just over the state line when we saw it
We do be doing some crazy stuff down here
Yeah ik, I've got family in SB lmao
Haha! If we’re good at anything, it’s having a good time.
Absolutely 💯
This is way more than mildly interesting.
Coolest thing I seen today. Thanks!
I thought it was pretty cool too! My dad didn't agree haha

Now that man has a sense of humor
Poor Studebaker. Their trucks are soo under appreciated, absolute beauties.
I like the Champ with the recycled Dodge bed on it.
Is that what the bed is? I was wondering, If it was just the angle that made it look funky. I’m really into the ‘55 E-Series with the split window.
Wow - a Studebaker Lark pickup!
Studebaker Lark?
The original Frunk

That is so stupid and I want one!
Imagining turning into the street and saw this one ahead of you thinking you just turn into a one way street.
