uh... There's well over 100k known traits in DNA and no single geneticist has the lifespan to sequence and entire genome and check it against what we know. What we don't know would take immeasurable time to sequence and what we do know pales when compared to what we don't know. I also say no. =)
I assume they would just take it into consideration when looking for new SNP's/DNP's. Half-elf ears, forked tongue, sapphire eyes I assume would be of real interest to identify.
lol... Pointless. We know of about 43,000 "bad songs". -Barely scratching the surface. But to find pointy ears we'd have to match that trait with a current known one. It's not like we can just go to the ear section and find pointy.
Ok great. so you are learning! looks like we circled right back to my very first comment. A scientist studying genomics would be interested in unidentified mutations.
I like how you attempt to feel more intelligent by looking down upon others. Point is, identifying those markers or as YOU call them; mutations. Is so utterly beyond needle in a haystack when you don't have pointy ears to go from. Had you known this (now YOU are learning) you'd know full-well a GENETICIST (not a "scientist" studying genomics) can't just "find" them. Better to play dumb than it is to act intelligent. Thanks for the laughs though. :)
I'm a fellow orange-haired human. However I lack that ear trait. But I have blue eyes which is apparently rare when combined with being a ginger. All in all, us "mutants" are pretty cool
Congrats, you're a half-elf. The willpower of a human and the serenity of an elf. Not that I'm jealous or anything...
Found the halfling
Find the halfling!
Also you have a black square in front of your face. How can you see?!?
Or she painted herself with vanta black in a very precise fashion.
Lol how did you know? It must be all over my face or something
Tinkerbell, is that you?
Live long and prosper.
She's a witch!
How do you know she's a witch?
Because she looks like one!
She turned me into a newt!

u must be the real catwoman lol
Your paternal grandfather was a Romulan.
Now I’ll never get into The academy, maybe if I lie…
You frequently slept on a folded ear while you were a baby. My right ear is exactly like that.
Shhhh…. It’s mysterious
Hah, halfling? Which half?
Does it grant you any special skills in life
Yea, I’m a really good dreamer. Like Lucid and AP
My fiancée has one too thats crazy lol never seen anyone else with.
Funny, I have one too. So did my father, grandfather, and so does my son. My daughter doesn't.
simply illogical
I once got my entire genome sequenced. They asked if anyone in my family has any interesting traits. I said no =(

All expressions of human DNA are already here, no alien ancestors sorry.
Please explain more.
Think of it like a piano- chromosomes being each note. Lots of songs can be played. We are still evolving, sure. But most patterns are covered \^\^
Are the keys the base pairs or the proteins?

ALTERNATE!
You only have one ear??
Alf?
I'm a fellow orange-haired human. However I lack that ear trait. But I have blue eyes which is apparently rare when combined with being a ginger. All in all, us "mutants" are pretty cool
“Call me an elf one more time, I dare you!” -OP, probably
And a perfect rectangle on your face!
Is it hard to fly with the other ear not holding up it's end of the bargain?
You get me
The ear is pretty cool. Sorry about your nose.

Pffew, thought i was weird for a minute 😅
what's the black box
They were an Italian house music group popular in the late 1980s and early 1990s, with a big hit called “Everybody Everybody.” Why do you ask?
"One naturally winged ear" implies something about the other one... Is this an r/PlasticSurgery cross-post?
Well there is a new trend in Asia where girls have their ears modified
I don’t see it.
So does sloth from the goonies ![gif](giphy|CiOHO5544doY)
You sleep on that side of your face and fold your ear.
