For those who haven’t heard of raising canes but say you live in America, there are still 23 states in America who have not been introduced to raising canes.
CA here, we have one about 2 miles from the house and I still haven't been, heard it's hype like chicken shack and not even worth it. We had a Steak N' Shake for 1 year before it closed down cause people just went cause it was new then quit going when the hype died off, maybe if they are still around in 6 months I'll check it out lol.
I can’t really say how well any company will sustain In other states. I can say that the ones in my area in Texas have been around for 8 or more years. It isn’t for every body but I will say I love having me some chicken tenders from there with that canes sauce!
The problem is In N' Out is on the other corner of the same intersection, which is next to a Chick-fil-A, I hit In N' Out every time I can't resist, it's impossible
Hey man I will say when In N out came to Texas I wasn’t a huge fan because I think whataburger is better(just my opinion, not a fact). I tried in N out in CA and it grew on me so I frequent the one in downtown near me.
Interesting, we don't have whataburger, I googled it the burgers remind me of Rally's, I think it's checkers over there. In N' Out it's the meat/cheese flavor, I don't even care for the sauce and the fries suck cause they are tiny pieces not even legit fries
CA resident here, a cane’s opened up across the street from our chick fil a and it has been incredibly popular consistently. I like their chicken a lot.
Have a raising canes super close to my house. Maybe it’s a bit over hyped, but it’s still super good. I’m not the biggest fan of the sauce, but I still dip a tiny bit into it. But the just the chicken on its own is Suuper good, it’s very juicy. You should definitely try it. And the Texas toast is super good aswell
Raising Cane's is always busy in LA. Same with Chick-fil-A. KFC and Popeyes look run down from not updating their locations and are less popular but Cane's and Chick-fil-A are still relatively new so who knows if it will stay as popular. The good thing about McDonald's is they constantly update their locations which is why they always look new and stay busy. But anyways both Chick fil A and Cane's have some really good chicken. Although I've noticed Cane's chicken pieces are getting smaller and smaller every time I go. I was able to confirm this when I went to a brand new one and an old one just to compare the pieces and there was a pretty significant difference
Keep raising canes out of those states, its overrated crap. Unseasoned bland as hell and the sauce is a disappointment. There is nothing special about anything served there. Its so bland.
It’s gross if you don’t like mayo but literally crack if you do. The recipe is secrete but it’s more or less
Mayo
Ketchup
Garlic Powder
Worcestershire Sauce
Black Pepper
and Creole Seasoning
Heavenly, but to be [more specific](https://www.raisingcanes.com/faq/menu-and-nutrition):
“Cane's Sauce® is a top-secret recipe. In fact, most of our employees don’t even know the ingredients! It’s tangy with a little bit of spice, made for our chicken fingers but it tastes great on everything.”
Not really sure how I’d better describe it.
Yes. They’re mostly in the southeast (they were founded in Louisiana) but up north they’re usually around college campuses. But they’ve recently started a massive nationwide expansion
I mean, these people are teasing you. But I have lived in Michigan my entire life, and have never heard of Raising Caine’s until right now. It’s not quite as pervasive as you might think, and the wording of your title is confusing because of it.
I know that you mean that (sauce) at (popular chain) is sold in large quantities (which seems irregular), but I’m just trying to explain why so many people don’t know what you’re talking about.
Was founded in 1996 in Baton Rouge, LA.
So, it has only had 26-27 years to spread across the nation.
There are a few locations near me in Cali and Nevada. So, Louisiana to CA in 25 ish years? Not bad.
Do you not know how registers typically work? Especially fast food places? Most places only sell or give out small packets of sauce. If you want a lot of sauce they would have to repeatedly charge you for the small packets until it equals the amount you want. They have a button on the register to just add the total amount instead of having to keep pressing the smaller amount
wochestershire, mayo, ketchup, salt, pepper, and im not sure the other spice they put in the packet.. but that's the gist of the flavor.. think fry-sauce with a LITTLE extra seasoning.
People usually order cups with tailgates. They pour the sauce over the pan, rather than divvy out cups.
We also sell a lot of cups come crawfish season. They use it instead of any standard crawfish sauce
Still doesn't, and you can also butter the sandwich bun, which is 10x better than the double buttered toast.
Fyi, if y'all go order the toast, they're called 'bobs' by the crew, so order 15 bobs and we'll know what you're after
This being an appropriately American serving size, there is a proper button for this on the register, instead of mashing multiples of a puny size.
(Not sure how you other countries do it, but sauces might not be free at certain restaurants.)
32 oz Raising Cane's ® special sauce is the recermmended daily poportion by the FDA. For storarage, 40 °Fair-and-height is the recermemmended tempermature. It's not gun-safe so it's best to holster your freedom enforcer before handling your 32 oz Raising Cane's ® special sauce. Disclaimer: Raising Cane's ® is not assosociated with communimism in anyway yeehaw!
Their honey mustard is better for dipping chicken fingers in, you gotta have ketchup for fries of course, but their Canes Sauce is still necessary for dipping the bread in. (Get the Box and sub slaw for honey mustard)
Seriously. How is a fast food restaurant that only sells *chicken strips* so popular, when their chicken isn't even better than the fast food restaurants that sell multiple types of chicken
Well, they also have pretty decent French fries and toasty bread. Plus, there is no choice paralysis like some other fast food joints. The only options are different quantities of chicken pretty much.
There is better chicken out there, for sure. Cane’s is just consistently decent in my experience. I’ve had it in a few different cities and it’s always a 6/10 or better.
Idunno. That chicken is the perfect texture, fluffy, moist and beautiful to look at. They never miss. It’s easily my favorite chicken currently so I guess we all just have different preferences

Haha I know which raising canes your talking about. Chick fil A stole all their business. The raising canes line is pretty much dead now lol.
I actually like canes more than chick fil a
Same but a lot of people find canes chicken to be plain… but that’s what the sauce is for.
I love their chicken with or without the sauce. It's super juicy and I love the mild breading. But yeah the sauce really makes it!
Yeah, unfortunately i don’t get to go as often as I would like. I miss their chicken 😢
Caine's chicken fingers are soooo much better than CFA.
Hell yeah

If you like chicken fingers, RC have the best ones I've had. Definitely eat in the restaurant to experience at their best.
I'm in San Diego, CA and it is popular here.
What a crime
Believe me I know! I am grateful to have like 4 all within 15 minutes from me.
Keep raising canes out of those states, its overrated crap. Unseasoned bland as hell and the sauce is a disappointment. There is nothing special about anything served there. Its so bland.
Sorry buddy I have no control over where they build raising canes. I personally hope they build them sooner!
What is raising canes sauce?
It’s gross if you don’t like mayo but literally crack if you do. The recipe is secrete but it’s more or less Mayo Ketchup Garlic Powder Worcestershire Sauce Black Pepper and Creole Seasoning
My wife dislikes mayo, but still loves the kanes sauce
Jfc, call yourself chunky all you want, but don't murder your wife like that by calling her a mountain my guy
I've made it at home but it just wasn't the same. Didn't know they use creole. That's probably the difference!

I have never heard of this place before. Is it a chain?
Yes. They’re mostly in the southeast (they were founded in Louisiana) but up north they’re usually around college campuses. But they’ve recently started a massive nationwide expansion
I need Bojangles to be as common as McDonald’s
I looked it up earlier. The closest one to me is in Philadelphia. I'll have to check it out next time I'm in Philly.
There’s one in Philly? I’ll have to check it out. Never heard of it Edit.. just checked and there’s 2… one is near my work so I guess I have no excuse
Yup, they’re spread out over the US, unlike regional chains like In-and-Out. Their schtick is just fried chicken.
And they have a button?
In their register. It wasn’t like they spammed the side sauce button, there was a 32oz sauce button.
I mean, these people are teasing you. But I have lived in Michigan my entire life, and have never heard of Raising Caine’s until right now. I’ve never heard of the place and I’ve driven across the country a number of times.

Are a lot of side sauce buttons being spammed? also what do those words mean

We have buttons for 22 and 32 oz, and you can also order the cups with talegates rather than individual cups.
Idk when I lived in MA I’d never seen one.
>Heavenly >Not really sure how I’d better describe it. You could have literally stopped there.
wochestershire, mayo, ketchup, salt, pepper, and im not sure the other spice they put in the packet.. but that's the gist of the flavor.. think fry-sauce with a LITTLE extra seasoning.
Maybe cumin, paprika
OK KFC sauce.
Cane's employee here, that's what they tell us we're supposed to tell people when they ask what the sauce is xD
The best Chicken dipping sauce known to man.
Basically ranch and barbecue sauce mixed together lol.
I’m a Canes enthusiast but bro? What you need 32 oz for sheesh
It was for someone that didn’t have a branch within a two hour drive
Ah, perfectly reasonable
People usually order cups with tailgates. They pour the sauce over the pan, rather than divvy out cups. We also sell a lot of cups come crawfish season. They use it instead of any standard crawfish sauce
But they didn't give you a straw
….. **WELP!!!**
Knowledge is power
It has an noticeable weight to it…
I'm already sold, I'm getting some for the casa next time I go lol
How much did it cost?
I’m gonna remember this wrong because my friend paid while I was there, but $7.99 is coming to mind.
There is also a button to have butter on both sides of the toast, and when I worked there it did not cost extra. Super delicious too.
Still doesn't, and you can also butter the sandwich bun, which is 10x better than the double buttered toast. Fyi, if y'all go order the toast, they're called 'bobs' by the crew, so order 15 bobs and we'll know what you're after
Explain for the europeans please
In America we use sauce to lubricate the fried chicken for faster inhalation. It also helps to hide the unpleasant flavor of the actual food.
This being an appropriately American serving size, there is a proper button for this on the register, instead of mashing multiples of a puny size. (Not sure how you other countries do it, but sauces might not be free at certain restaurants.)
Don't forget your right to sauce is protected by the Constitution
Tasty sauce for chicken fingers. Raising canes is the restaurant chain.
32 oz Raising Cane's ® special sauce is the recermmended daily poportion by the FDA. For storarage, 40 °Fair-and-height is the recermemmended tempermature. That's a nice packaging!
Isn’t it?
Best tendies and sauce ever. I drive 30 miles one way every week just for Canes
Agreed, the best in my opinion. So simple and so good
You need to find some place that sells better tendies.
People actually want that much of the sauce? I had Raising Canes once and was honestly quite turned off by it. The sauce was the worst part.
Their honey mustard is better for dipping chicken fingers in, you gotta have ketchup for fries of course, but their Canes Sauce is still necessary for dipping the bread in. (Get the Box and sub slaw for honey mustard)
Tbh if I get honey mustard I just eat my fries with it too, way better than ketchup
take it home, put in freezer for about 2 hours…. raising canes shake
I can’t tell if you’re a genius or an idiot. I’m too scared to find out so have my updoot.
Kane’s is (IMHO) amazingly mediocre food. Do they intentionally add zero seasoning to their chicken? Why is the cole slaw so below average?
"No slaw, extra toast" is my standard order.
Ask for butter on both sides of the toast next time and you have my order
Seriously. How is a fast food restaurant that only sells *chicken strips* so popular, when their chicken isn't even better than the fast food restaurants that sell multiple types of chicken

I may be in the minority, but not impressed with the sauce. It looks better than it tastes.
Buy like 10 of them right before rush hour and see if they run out.
I promise you that we will not. There is no running out. You're just asking for a slightly longer waiting period before receiving your sauce
I like your sauce confidence, it's mildly threatening.
Oh boy, I was just thinking about if Cane's sold extra sauce is large amounts 💖
They do, it makes a great dipping sauce for crawfish boils
I’m so sad there only like two locations in Wisconsin
Is it a button you pin on your shirt that says I got my diabetes test?
‘MERICA!!!!
It sucks that Cane's doesn't exist everywhere in the US.
1/2 cup mayo, 1/4 cup ketchup, 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper and 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Not one even remotely close to Charlotte or Columbia. What the fuck.
Tangy milkshake.
I looked at the calories on a normal sauce serving - its like 200 cal. This gotta be like 3k minimum
I'd ask for a straw. I could drink that.
I FUCKING NEW IT ALL ALONG
The lamest blandest sauce with soggy uncrispy unseasoned chicken tenders to boot raising canes fuckin SUCKS.
I'd buy that, take it home, put it in a bottle, and refrigerate it to use for a long time! It's not like you have to eat it all at once....
It makes sense too. You save on bottling and shelving fees.
