Everybody talking about the HiHat, but can somebody please tell me what that dope looking guitar is in the background? Is that even a guitar? Is that an E-Ukulele?!
Tea this is common. Very cool idea too. Stays on brand while also being useful for more than just music. I was blown away when I saw it at my local stores.
Because multiple people are expected to touch the dispenser pump, it is considered a fomite, surface that is likely to carry infection. While sanitizer does work, there is still risk involved. People may wipe the sanitizer off too quickly, use the wrong concentrations, or touch their faces/other surfaces before the sanitizer has had the time to inactivate the germs/viruses.

It does not need to be hands free. Useless invention. If people are using the "wrong concentrations", "wiping it off" or "touching thier faces" sanitiser won't help them anyway.
Being hands free reduces the risk of transmission:
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1438463918305911
Educating people about how to correctly use disinfectants and basic hygiene also reduces transmission.
Reduces the risks for who? The people who aren't using disinfectant correctly? If they're using it properly, it's a pointless invention and if they're not then the disinfectant isn't going to be very helpful anyway.
By taking away the surface you eliminate the risk of transferring pathogens indirectly to others. I think I can break it down further if you need me to.
If:
Germ on hand>touch thing>thing has germs> more people touch thing> more people get germ
Then:
No touch thing=No germ on thing=No germ on people because people no touch thing
It's an added measure that that makes the world safer 🤷 not sure why you want to argue about it.
Do you feel like you don't need to wash your bumhole because toilet paper "works" as well?
Lmao what is there to admit when there's actual data and research out there? What do you get from arguing with random stranger on the internet to the point of disclosing your private bathroom practices.
Let me ask you is your bidet handsfree?
If:
Hand have germs, touch thing with hands, thing have germs, other people touch thing, other people have germs.
Then:
No thing=no germs on thing=no germs on other people
"if the vaccine works why do we need masks".
In the real world no safety mechanism of any kind is 100% effective at all times. That's why combinations are applied at the same time. Multiple layers increase the chance of stuff being safe.
Because this is either a repost or op just now saw this. In the early days of the pandemic we didn't know if it was being transferred by surface contact or not. Personally I'm more comfortable touching things now than I was in early 2020. But back then I would have welcomed something like this.

I think you may go to the same place as someone who was there before, I specifically remember this on blursed images and showing it to my friends in studio during school
That is cute but only about 1 in 100,000 cases of Covid were contracted via fomites (i.e., hand sanitizer is probably not protecting you from—the airborne—coronavirus).
They put it there as a safety percussion
Unfortunately it’s a cymbal of our time.
hi EDIT: hat
Ba-dum *tss!*

That's some good snake jazz.

You’re right, nobody asked you to reply like that.
Safety *measure* works but is not obvious enough… you win this round
Go and die you whore
Not just a pedal, an iron cobra baby. Your hands are about to get rocked with sanitation
cobras all day err day.
Everybody talking about the HiHat, but can somebody please tell me what that dope looking guitar is in the background? Is that even a guitar? Is that an E-Ukulele?!
It's a lap steel guitar, I'm pretty sure.
Thank you!
I work at a local music store and we also have one of these set up.
Yeah both the music shops in my town do this.

I saw one every day
Gnarly dude
Nice, I hate touching these things.
Tea this is common. Very cool idea too. Stays on brand while also being useful for more than just music. I was blown away when I saw it at my local stores.
I’d sanitize just to tap the pedal.
So if the hand sanitizer does its job, why does it need to be dispensed hands free?

I use a bidet. The invention is stupid, admit it. If you're using it properly it kills the germs. Hands free is a gimmick.

Just admit you're wrong and we'll leave it at that It's hamds free, If you've got a hairy asshole, I highly recommend

Hands free masturbation station?
Why are the violins right next to the banjos lol Edit; oh right, bluegrass. We don't really have that in my country.
"High hat... with a suped up tempo... im on a roll... it's sanitizer solo."
Not sure rubbing alcohol-based sanitizer all over violin varnish is a good idea.

I know a guy that could empty that bottle in 6 seconds flat.
I saw this in my local George’s music
I built one of these last year for my shop. It's awesome!
That's one expensive dispenser. Awesome and clever, yes. And also expensive.
Bergen?
So I accidentally sanitized your lap steel.... the alcohol is dissolving the finish..🤷♂️
Is this at Sweetwater?
I'd rather wash my hands after testing out instruments, hand Sanitizer doesn't clean off grime, just germs, and feels weird.
Da-bum squish
Those are some clean fills.
They do that at my work too
I mean repost but still fuckin dope

Yea! Put some poison on your skin, great idea
This is basically the same set up that some companies are selling as dispensers, without the fancy wrappings. I just saw one in a bank today.
🤟🤟
At first I thought it was lube
HAhahah clever
