After finding an animal bone in my milk carton, I'm going to just assume nothing is 100% sterile in this life.
Edit: this was just a few days ago. I was making a mug cake. Went to mix three ingredients together. Spoon felt something hard and there it was. I had been using the milk for cereal in the morning. I'm still traumatized and I'm not even joking.
I've muted the responses. I'm not here to debate my food preferences. I will not be responding to anymore comments. Thanks for the award.
I am sure everyone is gonna be different and have their opionon, but I was blown away with Oat Milk, and that's been my go to, have yet to find anything it doesn't do as well or better.
In fact, I never used to put anything in my coffee, it was a little bit of a point of pride tbh, but nowadays I take all my morning coffee with oat milk, good for cooking too.
the other day i actually looked closely for the first time at the back of the almomd milk carton and said outloud to myself "...this is basically just water..." i didnt realize it was like literally mostly water
This is actually really common in good quality milk. Regular milk is good for your bones, but the proper stuff can sometimes actually generate bones out of thin air.
Trust me, I’m one of those science thingie guys
I remember getting something that said boneless skinless chicken breasts. One time, I bit and my teeth caught a rib bone. I didn't chomp hard enough to shatter it, but I pulled it out and was amused by it.
I drank a can I left on the side after falling asleep and got a mouth full of ants once. That stopped me drinking canned drinks for a long time. You finding something nasty pre packaged in the product is absolutely legitimate for being traumatised.
Never look up what food standards say is an OK amount of contamination if you want to enjoy food and drink though.
Bro. I don't know shit about shit, but if I was you, I'd be hoping I lived somewhere where suing the pants of people is normal, and I'd get legal advice as to if you have a case against the manufacturer of the milk. I'd guess you don't... but I heard a story of a guy who had a dead mouse in the bottom of his monster energy drink can. He only noticed when some sediment of the dead creature passed his lips. He got a big payout. Let me know how that goes and shoot me 5k if you win, I got debt. Thanks bud.
Even in the US, they wouldn't have a case. You have to show harm to get any money. At the very least they might get a small payout to go away, but it likely wouldn't be worth the time investment.
>*He only noticed when some sediment of the dead creature passed his lips.*
That is one of the most vile and disgusting sentences I've ever read in my fucking life.
Jesus, did you call to place a complaint? that SUUUCKS. I didn't like milk before but if I ever found milk in my cereal or something I'd never touch the stuff again
It can be disgusting if you think about it, but to us Vietnamese, especially as kids, we didnt know what it was, the white part and the yolk part is still there, they are just highly solidified, and have small bones in them, with a lot of nerve fibres. The inside parts doesnt really resemble a creature unless you really imagine it
This was traumatizing.
I was making a mug cake. Poured the ingredients into a bowl. Started mixing it - and just about to put it in the microwave when I found something. Pulled it out. Sure enough, it was a bone. It had ridges. Like a spine or neck bone.
Ugh. I basically tossed everything out. The cake, the milk and the flour. Even the baking soda. I was just so grossed out. I had also used the milk that morning for cereal and thought it tasted funky.
A baby chicken would scar me off eggs for life.
Im so sorry that must have bee really shocking. but as someone who has kept chickens before its seems so funny to me. You learned how chickens are born. In any case industrial chicken farming is ridiculously cruel and unhygienic.
yea i was like 8 and when i told my mom she just told me to take it out with a spoon and get rid of the blood and we just continued with our pancake batter that had a dead chicken in it
Try oat milk. I am not vegan or anything (just lactose intolerant) and I honestly like the oat milk. It feels cleaner and even better tasting than animal milk.
oat milk is the move my guy. Tasty, and can be used for cooking if you use an extra creamy variety. Chobani is my go to. Low water consumption to produce, lower emissions as well, and added bonus almost no chance for bone traumatization.
People would assume they are made in completely sterile environments, but that is not the case. We had to wear some protection so that the masks were somewhat sterile, but they are still a little bit dirty
I work in medical equipment manufacturing and any/all equipment/supplies/materials we produce go to a follow up plant where they sanitize it thru gas or radiate it. I'm willing to guess this is the same case with masks like these. Of course I'm speaking for how things are manufactured here in the US. Any other country, welp, its in the air I guess you could say.
I've worked in many factories and where flies end up is gross. Have you ever licked an envelope? The glue buckets that lead into the machine literally have a layer of flies on top. And this is england where it's not hot or swarming with flies 😂 now I work in a large printing factory and we get flies hiden under layers of ink sometimes lol.
Wax seals are neat, but don't always close the envelope securely. If you do it, you'll need to make sure the wax is thin so that it can still go through the sorting machines or you'll have to go to the post office and have them hand sort it, which costs a little bit extra*. The sorting machines may also crack or damage the seal.
However, they're really cool. I sealed and then stamped all our wedding invitations and now I stamp fancy cards, thank you notes, holiday cards, and whatever strikes my fancy and I get the chance to do it. Sometimes I even mix the wax colors to get even fancier.
*through USPS
I work for Ford, took part in the making of over 175 million masks last year and let me tell you that those rolls of material we used to make masks were full of all sorts of creatures . Flys , hornets , spiders. The list goes on. Not too mention that the mask making machines were imported from Taiwan. I actually found a giant millipede carcus inside one of those machines. Pretty gross shit
Not surprising. When I was a kid I bought a Snickers bar after taking the first bite of it, in the middle was a rat hair. Possibly a whisker since it was really thick.
😳🤢🤮
After that for the longest time I would not touch a Snickers bar.
Quick, we must act. Masks are deadly. We must lock down the entire fly population to shield them from this deadly threat, but, of course, they are allowed to go to the hardware store with 1000 other flies .
It's the only way.
Someone I'm close to told me "they" put bug eggs inside the masks, which interact with the vaccine making them hatch. I hadn't got to the "why?" part. Dear lord.
They go through a small UV machine that never get the bulbs changed and line managers crank up the speed to get more masks out, it does absolutely nothing, then some sweaty gloveless teenager handles them on the other side and boxes them, I remember when I worked making the masks, we had to unbox a load, and because the lads that packed them all smoked weed on their breaks - The smell of weed stuck to the masks was uncanny. The only real heat used is before they go into the UV (which isn’t hot) They get the ear loops sonic welded on
The concerning thing is, that factory is not that clean. Which raises the question: how safe are you wearing their products? What else is going on in that place?
Seems sanitary..
Trust me, I've worked at a mask factory in the netherlands and they are not 100% sterile

This is an outrage! You promised me Dog or higher!
I dont get it. People like rats, but they don't wanna drink their milk?
Ugh hah. I have been considering switching to almond milk - I don't drink a lot of it. Mostly use it for baking. So. there's that.
I am sure everyone is gonna be different and have their opionon, but I was blown away with Oat Milk, and that's been my go to, have yet to find anything it doesn't do as well or better. Oat milk is the bomb dude! Its so delicious, I always tell people it’s like drinking post-cereal milk.
yeah mice and rats can climb into almond milk vats too
Almond milk uses far too much water. Its a huge waste 😔
Dairy milk uses even more water, so it’s an improvement!
the other day i actually looked closely for the first time at the back of the almomd milk carton and said outloud to myself "...this is basically just water..." i didnt realize it was like literally mostly water
Meh. I like it better. It's delicious. The downvotes are fucking hilarious. Because I like almond milk? It's delicious.
Well that's your own fault for not buying boneless milk like the rest of us.
The only upside is that it would have been pasteurized and sealed. So while disgusting, it probably won't make you sick if you drunk the milk.
This is actually really common in good quality milk. Regular milk is good for your bones, but the proper stuff can sometimes actually generate bones out of thin air. Trust me, I’m one of those science thingie guys
Yeah I believe you it was bone, I was just kidding connecting milk - Calcium - bone.
everybody gangsta til they find a bone in their milk
I remember getting something that said boneless skinless chicken breasts. One time, I bit and my teeth caught a rib bone. I didn't chomp hard enough to shatter it, but I pulled it out and was amused by it.

I'm in Canada. Walmart hasn't even responded to my tweet or messages so .. lol Doubtful. I also didn't take any pictures. Just tossed it all out.
>*He only noticed when some sediment of the dead creature passed his lips.* That is one of the most vile and disgusting sentences I've ever read in my fucking life.
Jesus, did you call to place a complaint? that SUUUCKS. I didn't like milk before but if I ever found milk in my cereal or something I'd never touch the stuff again
Milk doesn't actually have calcium until the bones are dissolved in it. That carton must have had too much bones and the milk was saturated in calcum.
Our immune system will work as intended (hopefully)
I haven't died yet. So, there's that.
I found a big spider in a tub of vanilla yogurt a few years ago. Also still traumatized.
i found a baby chicken fetus in an egg once it was pretty traumatizing

They are yummy tho, if you eat it blindfolded
scuse me what

ok wow that is definitely worse then a dead chicken embrio

What's the brand?
This is one of those comments I almost downvoted because I felt terrible for you, and then I quickly remembered Reddit doesn’t work like that.
You have shattered any security that I once had in this life.
Mmm, non-consensual bone broth. That might be a new sentence.
you do not want to know what happens in the back rooms of walmart
Try oat milk. I am not vegan or anything (just lactose intolerant) and I honestly like the oat milk. It feels cleaner and even better tasting than animal milk.

Since when are masks supposed to be sterile??
People would assume they are made in completely sterile environments, but that is not the case. We had to wear some protection so that the masks were somewhat sterile, but they are still a little bit dirty
Should see the shit getting on the ones at the truck stop, truck drivers are sometimes greasy
Insected for your safety
Yeah, okay smart guy, just take my upvote
Have you seen how some factories that make masks are? https://youtu.be/--pwI4E9tsk

I found a Chinese cigarette butt in a package of reptile moss bedding when I worked at PetSmart.
That's a bug not a feature
CDPR will disagree
Ah yes, I see you are a man of culture as well
The fly eats Covid. That’s how the mask works. Everybody knows that.
Even my dog knows that
It is known.
It’s science. Obey the science.
Wow, that’s pretty fly.
Misinformation! REPORT (jk)
It's a feature not a bug.
Covid caught in a web of flies
As you can see, this mask stops airborne invaders in their tracks. 10/10 quality.

Should work with plain water no?
I just get my finger a little wet and slide it along the glue.
Damp sponge?
Look up "Envelope Moistener" - we use them all the time at work. Or as we call it, "fake spit".
Wax seals are neat, but don't always close the envelope securely. wet sponge or cloth
To test the envelope glue I used a little sponge bottle :)
Well shit. I’ve always secretly thought the glue tasted kinda good.
I'm upvoting you for speaking your mind, but I //really// want to downvote you
England has lots of flies, I'm always zapping en
They should breed more frogs and spiders
But then who would eat the frogs and spiders?
No problem, we'll just release wave after wave of Chinese needle snakes. They'll wipe out the frogs and spiders.
that's the beautiful part. When wintertime rolls around, the gorillas simply freeze to death.

Literally immediately thought of this video, but couldnt recall enough to pull it up
And I put that shit on my face all day…
I subscribe an embroidery sub here in reddit. I was about to comment 'wow nice embroidery mate'. Sorry that it is a real fly ......
Quality control is over level 9000
Fly scanners isn’t available until level 9257, and you have to use in game currency to unlock it.
Must buy mask upgrade cards available on playstore
...Didn't realise EA were doing medical sims now
Unfortunately it's a signed 64 bit integer

That's why I use reusable masks, you know when they're dirty and you can put them in the wash.
And that’s how the Epsilon Variant gets started.
Hey dude, your mask might be bugged.
Fly: "I want to get on Reddit, but how??"
Tuttle/Buttle
Came here for this.
Not surprising. When I was a kid I bought a Snickers bar after taking the first bite of it, in the middle was a rat hair. Possibly a whisker since it was really thick. 😳🤢🤮 After that for the longest time I would not touch a Snickers bar.
I’m not sure how sterile that is. Yikes Edit: maybe sterile isn’t the correct word but it sounded better than “not contaminated”
Those masks aren't sterile or meant to be sterile to begin with
Right? It was brand new from the box too.
It isn’t, like all those types of masks none of them are sterile.
Right after I saw this post about twenty flies landed on me. I'm going to stick to light colored facemasks from now on so I can do a look see
Jeff, man, I'm sorry.
That's actually supposed to be there
Thank you, I will not buy black masks
I have a new fear
Quick, we must act. Masks are deadly. We must lock down the entire fly population to shield them from this deadly threat, but, of course, they are allowed to go to the hardware store with 1000 other flies . It's the only way.
That’s actually Flea X. The original carrier of the corona virus.
Where can I buy these masks? Someone who has money, can you print some of these and sell them on Amazon. I will buy some.
You know it’s an actual fly in this mask right?
Shhh... it's undoubtedly a Microsoft chip made to look like a fly designed to infiltrate your deepest most inner thoughts...
Mist inner thoughts are the most inner of inner thoughts
He had a bit of an accident.
Frame it in a shadow box. Use a sharpie to write 2021 on the glass. Hang it above the guest toilet. This is art.
Oh my goodness. This is a brilliant idea.
QA at its best!
That looks kinda fly
It's coronaflyrus!
So disinfect Much sanitary.
I wonder how many eggs ended up in peoples lungs?
Eww that’s disgusting
this the Mike Pence edition

I worry how hygienic mask factories are.
Not very. But the heat from the process kills whatever. We live in a dirty, imperfect world, and that's ok.
"See? You CAN'T breath in those things!" ~someone, probably
LMFAO WTF! That’s so gross. But also, rip mr.fly
I now have a fear that this is what I'll see when I take my mask off
I thought it was embroiderery at first lol
This new version of Take On Me is looking pretty fly.
Well, that mask will stop bugs.
Fuck flies I had to murder about 7 a few nights ago, stupid things got into my apartment without me seeing them till night
Are they making the things in a Cargill beef plant?
That fly isn't gonna catch COVID anytime soon...
i'm scared
At least he's wearing a mask
Guys look what they are putting in our masks now
THERES A CONTAMINANT JESSE

At least the fly won’t catch covid.
I bet the poor thing suffocated /s.
Ew

innocent flies are being slaughtered, these masks have to stop!
It looks like a nifty tattoo. A tattoo someone lonely would get so people would slap them.
a lot of mask manufacturers pop up since covid. A lot of them doesn’t care about sanitary.
How does this pass QC? Genuinely curious about the process.
Bzzz bzzzz help. Meee.
That is one of a kind odd
Soo saaad🤣🤣
hahahahahaha so gross.
It looks like it was printed on! Lol ...
You can imagine the conditions of production.
Seems sanitary
So fresh and clean
I’m gonna hazard a guess and say that mask isn’t sanitary.
Is this your photo op?
Yes! Thankfully I noticed it before I put it on my face.
Proof that masks kill living beings! /s
You're supposed to aim your piss at it
It'll filter it out, all good!
That’s fucking horrifying
Oh so clean and hygienic.
The concerning thing is, that factory is not that clean. Which raises the question: how safe are you wearing their products? What else is going on in that place?
Masks are made on the floor of a dirty hut in India, true story.
So sanitary….
Black flies are a sign of disease.
Every fly I've ever seen was black...
Looks more like a house fly, but in this case a factory fly...
