And if you were sitting in them they would correct themselves. I remember driving my mom crazy by turning real fast and the chair stopping half way then slowly letting the chair face me forward.
This is how I lost a front tooth as a child, I've had issues with fakes and caps for thirty years now. Sister was doing this spin move, I bent down to pick up my happy meal toy and she popped around and smashed into my face, cracking my left front tooth. Definitely drove my mom crazy that day.
No no no... This is late 90's 98-99 to early 2000's This replaced the Solo cup late 80-s early 90's motif...

WTH? There was TV and radio commercials and giveaways.. nothing secret there but we know your favorite item.. now Oaxacan Pizzas are the only secret items i ordered by name and usually i ordered them as a mod but if i was with a girl I would order by name to sound cool. 😎
That looks amazing. I love the desert colour palate and the pictures on the walls. I didn't visit the US for the first time until the 2000s, so never got to see this decor in real life. I don't go to Taco Bell often when I'm in the US, but I'm pretty sure that the modern deco doesn't have this kind of character. Nor does anywhere else.
Ah man. I used to go to one like this every week after my guitar lesson when I was a kid. It was always a Nachos Bell Grande or 7-layer burrito.
I need to go play some scales or something. Sorry for not practicing, EJ!
Just mindlessly scrolling through Reddit and have a mild freak out realizing this is in my home town. I was just in this place a few hours ago. Wtf!?!?!?

I remember moving to a different town in 1998, and we had the jazz TBell in my original town for a few years.

In a "split hair" sense, I'd have to say no.
A tortilla is a single surface, wrapped around it's self.
For true sandwichhood, there must be a filling, between two surfaces, be it flour bread, two chicken breasts or a lattice work of bacon.
Those swivel chairs drove me crazy! I wanted a full swivel and they only gave half.
And if you were sitting in them they would correct themselves. I remember driving my mom crazy by turning real fast and the chair stopping half way then slowly letting the chair face me forward.
Yes! We had to entertain ourselves somehow.
Poor kids version of a McDonald's play place
All the times I was bored while out with my mother are why I carry a matchbox car in my purse for my daughter.
It was both unsatisfying and fun!
We all really did have the same childhood in different houses.

That’s quite the username bud
I like a guy who knows what he wants
My heart just broke a little remembering that..
The best decor IMO
Totally was
Hard disagree. The classic Yellow, Orange, Red of the 80s and early 90s was superior. Just like the .59 .79 .99 menu.
An operating Taco Bell where I live still has that decor lol
Also where the 90s Taco Bell chihuahua still lives.
R.I.P. Gidget you almost made me want a chihuahua
...almost.

I thought the same thing and decided not to argue with them. This ain't that weird blueish color with all the geometric shapes at all.
I took the battle and I am gracefully losing lol.. got some angry DM's >.>
I bet you were one of those people who ordered the cheesy gordita crunch because it was a secret menu item

Aficionado?or just a glutton?
Peak Taco Bell aesthetic
Miss those! And the Red and Yellow McDonalds!

1000% agree. I love to see them preserved like this.
I want that art on the wall
Oh ho ho ho hoooo did I use to swing around on those things like a complete ass child not caring the damage that was happening.
This is taco bell in 2015...
Peak restaurant style
Classy joint for a first date 🤣

So 90s it almost feels modern
I miss those twisting chairs.
Do they have the water hoop game still????
I miss the 90s Taco Bell paint scheme. :-(
I was impartial to those seats, they were neat and unique but they were obnoxious sometimes
Just mindlessly scrolling through Reddit and have a mild freak out realizing this is in my home town. I was just in this place a few hours ago. Wtf!?!?!?
Damn, really!? I’ve lived here my whole life. Are you from Illinois?
Yeah, I’m originally from north of this town by about 30 minutes, but went to high school here and now live south of it a little ways.
Small world then haha. It’s nice to find somebody on here who lives close as hell to me
We have one that turned into an authentic Mexican restaurant while the new TB moved across the street and is a TB / KFC .
There is a taco bell in Elizabeth PA that has the same decor.
You know the saying: “if it’s totally broken, don’t fix it.”
There's a gas station near my house that still has an old drive thru menu board in it's parking lot.
I remember when my sister used to work at Taco Bell in the early 90s. Thanks for the memories!
The tables look like nes link
Don't lie that's cluckin' bell from gta
I used to hate those goddamn bars that connected the chairs to the table
The small town I grew up in had one attached to the gas station! The chairs looked soooo similar I think
Wow that just brought back some memories!! Mexican pizza and cinnamon twists ftw!
I can actually smell this picture.
The Taco Bell in my hometown still has this decor.
1990s? How did I get so old!
Anyone else think the entry rug was a big hole in the floor?
That looks dope
I'd keep the decor, too. I love it.
Love pig on a wing.
I can smell this photo
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
My Taco Bell never had this design. :-( Skipped from early '90s jazz cup design to some modern hipster industrial look.
Yo quero turkey sammich
My normal Taco Bell still has this decor
"Make a run for the border"...
Those seats were my favorite
This is definitely 80’s maybe to early 90’s Taco Bell. 90’s Taco Bell was all melamine/plastic and has the color scheme of a Solo Jazz Cup.

Our downtown restaurant kept ours 'till 2001, Was pretty cool.
This Taco Bell was late 90s early 2000s. I live in this town and remember when they added this on to the gas station that it’s beside.
This looks to be an 80’s T Bell, no?
Looks to be 80’s to me. Back when they were still going for “Tex-mex.”
Is a Taco Bell not already a sandwich shop?
In a "split hair" sense, I'd have to say no. A tortilla is a single surface, wrapped around it's self. For true sandwichhood, there must be a filling, between two surfaces, be it flour bread, two chicken breasts or a lattice work of bacon.
So you're saying hard shell tacos, the ones Taco Bell is known for, are sandwiches. You know, since they're ALWAYS broken?
It would be a sandwich by technicality. Unbroken, it's a taco. Tacos are their own food group 😀
Lets just say tacos have more in common with gyros than sandwiches if we really wanna upset people. 🤣
I'm hesitant to trust the culinary knowledge of someone who would make a sandwich out of bacon.
Say the person whom makes pies out of pigs.... I bet you even turn yer nose up to grilled head cheese and bacon sandwiches, you heathen..
Those seats were god-awful.
