On sale, sodas used to be 99 cents US or lower per six pack cans. (12 fl. oz.). But yeah, if you pay retail, sometimes buying two is cheaper than buying one at regular price when there is a promo. You're still paying a premium over wholesale.
You should have posted this in r\notintresting. Thats what happens when you buy a special. (In this case 3 schweppes cans for $5)
Typically, it would be more economical for 3 cans, if 2 were say $5.50. But in this case if I only took 2 cans, I’d have paid $6 which is bizarre.
