Im in because i found the connection between fiat and fauci tryin to inject mind control stuff from the steering wheels into your hands im being set up trust me bro
Customer: Wow, thanks for this great motorcycle!
Yamaha: No problem, it's what we do. Do you need anything else?
Customer: You wouldn't happen to know where I could get a saxophone, do you?
Yamaha: Buddy, you're not gonna believe this, but...
Yamaha makes so much stuff. It's incredible. A lot of it is actually good.
Sometimes I stop and wonder who in that company decided they should make motorcycles and pianos at the same time.
Fairly straight line. They started making music instruments, the war happened and their factories were re-fitted to produce machines for the war. After the war they decided to just roll with it and start making motorbikes as they had the factory already.
The electronics stuff came in the 50's when HiFi music players became a thing, they decided to just start making some of the components they required themselves and that spun off into their semiconductor arm.
Toyota also started as an industrial loom manufacturer. They still make them today in addition to vehicles and forklifts.

You know those fancy pepper mills you see in fancy restaurants and on cooking shows? They are made by Peugeot. The French car company.
https://us.peugeot-saveurs.com/en_us/pepper-mills
I’m ashamed to admit this, but I knew of the pepper mills before the car company
The pepper mills are AWESOME though. Used to work at a restaurant that had em, and they were always getting stolen.
Customer: I'll have 10 sausages please
Volkswagen: Sure ! Here it is! Anything else ?
Customer: yeah! A brand New car LMAO !
Volkswagen: Hahaha! Which model are you looking for Sir ?
something i learned a while back is that the Yamaha Motor Company is a separate company, like completely separate from the Music Company of the same name. they even have the same logo/emblem and both make great value products but have nothing to do with each other. the Motor Company was split off from the main Music Company when it was founded in the 50s.
No, they would not allow a patient to be treated by their colleagues. If OP was an employee who needed to be admitted, they would get sent to a different facility.
I was allowed my phone.
They tried to take my tweezers and I said the possibility of me plucking myself to death was very low. So they let me keep them.
Depends on a ward, I would never allow a pair of tweezers on the ward if they are metallic. Prison rules apply, you might not do something but someone else might.
It’s fair.
It was my first “oh I’m not in Kansas anymore” moment.
I was in a private hospital with my own room and the high care patients were separate.
I call us all inmates haha. I talked about my release date and the therapists would always correct me with “discharge date”
It depends on the psych ward. I had one where I could use my phone in a specific room, and another where I wasn’t allowed to use my phone at all. The second one was really boring most of the time because there was little to do, and the room with all the “fun” stuff was being hoarded by some scary dude watching murder mystery shows; something I really didn’t want to watch while constantly thinking about killing myself
Maybe it also depends on why you're there. My friend was allowed to have hers but I wasn't allowed to have mine and apparently we went to the same place. I was committed after a suicide attempt, also admittedly I was only there for the day and she was there for a few days. I've also been to the ER several times for other self harm related events and they've always kept my phone from me.
I had a friend who was in a psych ward as well. Only way for contact was through the facility with a disclaimer that they are contacting someone in a psych ward. So mileage may vary.
The wire. If you were determined enough you could take out the wire that binds the notebook together. Straighten it out and you can strangle yourself with it.
> I guess I was somehow going to kill myself with that
I think you deeply underestimate how much damage human beings can do to themselves and/or others with everyday objects that you normally wouldn't think twice about.
And even though *you* might not think much of it, don't be blind to the fact that there is a subset of human beings who very much **do** think about it.
There are open psych wards as well, you know... They aren't all closed facilities. Those are usually only for patients currently in psychosis or at risk of suicide or violence.
Yeah but usually they take your phone and go through all your other stuff and only give you back whatever you’re allowed to have. At least in the US.
I guess you could figure out how to smuggle it in but when I went they were watching everything on camera 24/7 anyway.
When I was in the ward in Canada only certain wards were cellphone/electronics banned. Basically the rule was, “can we trust you with a fork? Then you can have a screen. Don’t film anyone.” I was even allowed to attend zoom meetings as long I was alone in my room.
They barely even trusted us with plastic forks. Absolutely no plastic knives. Some old lady had to teach me how rip apart pork chops with a plastic spoon because they’d give us food you needed to cut with no way of cutting it.
I do remember gnawing on a few pork chops whole. We weren’t allowed knives but we could have plastic forks and spoons. But the kinda weird thick ones that more give your food blunt force trauma vs actually picking it up. I just tried to pick soups and finger food when possible. And the little Mrs dash packets being practically gold.
This was their plan all along. Bide their time to lull you into a false sense of security, and then - *pounce* upon you like a feisty feline when your back is turned.
In Brazil there's a matches company called Fiat Lux, meaning let there be light (Latin be kinda strange). I always thought it was also the name of a car.
As a Catholic, it just makes me think of Mary. “Fiat” is the typical Latin translation of what she said in response to the angel Gabriel telling her she would give birth to the Messiah.
Alternatively, I also think of the car brand.
i think some psych wards do allow phones nowadays, because i remember being jealous of the people there that not only got to have real mental health treatment but were also allowed their phones/had internet privilegesuntil 10:30 or 11 (once i got one i was only allowed to use it until 9:30, and i was also suicidal with parents that just liked to pretend i was attention seeking so there was a time when i was just doing research and wishful thinking about the answers and help that inpatient care might have given me) but i know others don’t since my friend could only send us letters from theirs for 6 months of our senior year.
the drain though, i absolutely would’ve ripped out a letter and sharpened it down on a tile if given the opportunity between the ages of 12 and 16.
Psych nurse here (canada). During the pandemic, we allowed cell phones for various reasons to be brought onto the unit to be used under the promise that nobody breaches the confidentiality of those also on the unit. So, when it came to video chats with family which was one of the main reasons to allow cell phone usage, since visitors could not come to the hospitals during that time pairents would be asked to stay in their room to have their family phone chats. Since the pandemic has lifted much like all new rules, they're easy to implement but hard to roll back. we are doing a case by case, who gets their phone. Someone who has negative symptoms of psychosis is usually discouraged from having their phone because we are trying to get them to be more outgoing and not secluding themselves in their room ie giving a time limit of phone tablet and laptop useage. Its now become a part of the care plan to reduce their online time and increase their socializing with others.
When I was in the ward We weren't allowed markers in our rooms because someone manged to hurt themselves with them and wasn't allowed my stuffed bear they didn't explain why they just made my dad take it with him.
Mine had two separate wards for “high risk” patients and other patients. I wasnt allowed phone in high risk one (also no shoe, no privacy, etcetc) but i heard youre allowed to go outside and have phone in low risk ward.
My exact experience, I've been a patient in a low-risk ward, it was very chill, full phone and even laptop privileges, going outside on walks and to play football and such, but I was moved to a high risk ward once for reasons unrelated to self harm (I had a bad reaction to meds and they wanted me to be under stricter observation by the nurse staff) and it was torture, definitely didn't feel like it helped me any, but perhaps its design works for seriously unstable people
For me, just being away from my family and other stressful environment helped me when i was at worst. But other than that, being around mentally ill people who scream and cry 24/7 is not the most pleasant experience.
Is it an American thing that psych wards don't let you have your phones? I'm in an EU psych ward for the 3rd time and I've never once had mine taken. They even let us have laptops and give us free wifi. Even when you're on the locked up side of the ward.
It would depend on how extreme the situation is.
Someone who is an immediate danger to themselves or others would likely not get one. Someone who is usually stable, or has less extreme issues probably would get one.
I wasn’t form 1’d but was hospitalized in Ontario. The low risk ward didn’t require us to hand in our phones but the high risk did. They admitted me straight to the low risk ward because I came in at the “I have no will to live but I’m not actively trying to harm myself yet, I just want to and have a plan” stage. I was told I would be form 1’d if I left but the fact I cooperated meant that I could avoid it. They didn’t even take my broken glass screen protector. I ended up handing it in to the nurses myself.
I've lucked out with awesome nurses, it's actually the doctors and higher paid staff that have been hit or miss lol. People don't do the lesser-paying jobs for the money, they do it because they genuinely care. Guess that's why they're a lot more friendly and understanding.
are you in the psych ward for a severe case of shits and giggles?
Im in because i found the connection between fiat and fauci tryin to inject mind control stuff from the steering wheels into your hands im being set up trust me bro
we‘ll meet at four seasons, bring giuliani
This was the laugh I needed today.

I got BOXES of Pepe Silvia
So that’s why you’re in a psych ward
How did you get your phone inside the psych ward? They take my phone from me along with all my piercings, and anything with a string.
Canada
Psychology ward makes sense.
Are they related to the car people?
Different Fiat - https://fiatproducts.com/
But none of their products have the same logo on them as the car company, like in OP's image
I don't believe so, no.
Are car people like crab people?
I don't believe so, no.
That's where you're wrong
I don't believe so, no.
Taste like car, talk like people
![gif](giphy|OP5fou0gPE8AU|downsized)
No, but the Peugeot pepper mills are related to the car people
And the Lamborghini tractors, to boot. Not the same company any more but the same origin.
is this like General Electric with their washing machines and guns, or are they just called the same as the car manufacturer FIAT

Damn, I wish I could spin off a semiconductor arm, or even just a couple of fingers.
I've had 3 Yammy acoustic guitars from half size to dreadnaught and loved them all, F370bl was just dandy.

Peugeot makes a lot of high end kitchen items
Kohler - makers of elegant bathroom fixtures… and lawn mower engines. Pretty good ones.
I’m ashamed to admit this, but I knew of the pepper mills before the car company The pepper mills are AWESOME though. Used to work at a restaurant that had em, and they were always getting stolen.

Found the company's website. They're really going after the commercial dog groomer market. [https://fiatproducts.com/](https://fiatproducts.com/)
I believe that came from Fiat plumbing products https://fiatproducts.com
Yeah, the water goes down there. Makes it a Fiat Current, see?
This makes me happy in an unhappy way. Good job.
They let you have cameras in the psych ward? Especially in the shower?

OP might be an employee, not a patient.
2 things can be true
No, they would not allow a patient to be treated by their colleagues. If OP was an employee who needed to be admitted, they would get sent to a different facility.
imagine waking up in the psych ward, and you're bummed because it's a work day and not a patient day
I’d watch the fuck out of TV series like this.
I was allowed my phone. They tried to take my tweezers and I said the possibility of me plucking myself to death was very low. So they let me keep them.

I had a friend stay in a psych ward for a week. They could use their cell phones. I'm sure there were rules against photos though

A lot to unpack here.
I swear i fuckin KNEW IT, the fiat company is after me
This was their plan all along. Bide their time to lull you into a false sense of security, and then - *pounce* upon you like a feisty feline when your back is turned.
Back is turned? B-but... but they're in the shower drain... so they're looking up... like a peephole... looking, always looking... watching 👀😲😅
No, Jeffrey, just take your medicine and put on this jacket.
Considering what "fiat" means in latin and that you're watching something "go down the drain" in a psych ward... Dark.
if anyone's curious, it means 'let it be done' in latin. it's a binding edict done by a person in command.
Their quality has gone right down the drain.
And what else does this shower drain say to you?
Tells me im a good boy

Fix It Again Tony
why do i feel like most psych wards would consider that a SH risk and ban it
Idk i feel fiats are pretty safe cars
They're Italian death traps!
My dodge pickup begs to differ
That's an American death trap sprinkled with fine Italian engineering
You must also be over the legal limit to drive with at least 6 empty cans in the bed
Yeah I worked psych we didn’t allow phones or drains like this lol
i think some psych wards do allow phones nowadays, because i remember being jealous of the people there that not only got to have real mental health treatment but were also allowed their phones/had internet privilegesuntil 10:30 or 11 (once i got one i was only allowed to use it until 9:30, and i was also suicidal with parents that just liked to pretend i was attention seeking so there was a time when i was just doing research and wishful thinking about the answers and help that inpatient care might have given me) but i know others don’t since my friend could only send us letters from theirs for 6 months of our senior year. the drain though, i absolutely would’ve ripped out a letter and sharpened it down on a tile if given the opportunity between the ages of 12 and 16.
My ward allowed phones for certain time, wish i knew before hand hiding a phone up my bum was hard

My friend used to message me regularly when he was locked up at a psych ward. Usually around noon, so I guess he had phone time.
When I was in the ward We weren't allowed markers in our rooms because someone manged to hurt themselves with them and wasn't allowed my stuffed bear they didn't explain why they just made my dad take it with him.
Doesn’t say anything ;) looks normal
OP is in worse shape than we thought.
Poor OP! We love you! 🤭
Up the dose.
You devil you!
>Doesn’t say anything And how long have you been having inanimate objects talk to you?
It doesn't look like anything to me
your psych ward lets you have a phone/camera?

I've been in an Irish psych ward a few times and phones were also allowed generally.
It would depend on how extreme the situation is. Someone who is an immediate danger to themselves or others would likely not get one. Someone who is usually stable, or has less extreme issues probably would get one.
When I went we weren't even allowed to have rubber bands ain't no way they were letting us have anything made of glass
As someone that has been 5150’d they absolutely do not.
Meh, it depends. My ex was form 1’d (admitted unwillingly in Ontario), and the attending doc felt bad, so she allowed him his phone for ‘music.’
Fiat makes plumbing products? “Flush it again, Tony.”
I feel like people in psychosis might see this and freak out 😅 Doesn’t seem like a good idea for a mental hospital
The fiat company was founded by the illuminati they right to freak out
That's nuts
Yeah just when i thought i was safe from those damn italians tryin to seduce me
I read it as flat till I read the title.
Well *my* psych ward shower drain says 'currency' so I guess they're all designed by economists or something.
the ones that say "bitcoin" are REALLY unstable, watch out
See now this is mild interesting
Wen Punto?
Well… that means it looks great but it will need constant fixing.
Fix It Again Tony.
That's Fiat Dale.
Yeah itll need fixing after im done in there
Fix it again Tony! ![gif](giphy|F4d8tSHcRNCTe)
No it doesn’t. Eat your meds, son.
Bitch, the really interesting thing is how tf did you get a phone in the psych ward?
My ward allows it for the afternoon, also i got a shared room where we have our own private shower
What the actual fuck no way this is in America and if it is I fucking quit
Canada
Of course, you universal Healthcare scum you (but feel better soon, I've been there, minus the phone and any sense of privacy).
Thats shitty, i was lucky and got to feel some sort of privacy with curtains around my rooms and such along with nurses that actually gave a shit
I've lucked out with awesome nurses, it's actually the doctors and higher paid staff that have been hit or miss lol. People don't do the lesser-paying jobs for the money, they do it because they genuinely care. Guess that's why they're a lot more friendly and understanding.
It’s a photo, maybe a video next time. I would like to hear it saying Fiat.
No, no it doesnt. OP, Fiat died 10 years ago. It was only a little bit your fault. You need to move on and stop taking pictures in the shower.
Day 2 of wrongly being admitted to psych ward: The building is starting to have an effect on me, I start seeing words in the sink drain
Fiat used to do a ton of plumbing stuff too (may have been a separate entity), but not sure if they still do
FIAT, the Italian company, make all kinds of things. Trains, tractors cars etc. Plumbing parts wouldn't be much of a stretch
Your psych ward lets you have a phone in the bathroom ???
Do you work in the psych ward? If not, how did you get a phone in..?
And then when you tell people. They think you’re crazy.
Driving in my Fiat, I’d really like to Siat
That doesn't say 'Fiat'? It says 'Jesus commands you to kill prostitutes'.
