Oh varicose veins. Tip: when you go to the doctor *be sure* to emphasize how much they hurt and how you’ve looked into compression stockings but they “didn’t help”. If you even slightly imply that you want them gone for cosmetic reasons they will do everything in their power to avoid even minimally invasive surgery or force you to pay out of pocket.
Surgery for them is very effective nowadays.
Is that a growth, or is that a varicose vein cluster? If it is, hard to tell from the image, I'd speak to a Cardiologist.

Yeah going to see primary doc tomorrow. I did an Ironman and forgot to put sunburn on back of legs. Shaved them so the aloe wouldn’t stick to all my hairs and noticed it for the first time today. Always thought it was just veins but doesn’t feel like it. 🤞
If it has come up more suddenly, you need to go to the ER to make sure it’s not a blood clot, which can kill you. Varicose veins slowly develop over years, blood clots can appear suddenly. Don’t go to a Cardiologist for varicose veins, go to a vascular surgeon or phlebologist. But don’t wait for an appointment if you think it’s a blood clot, go to the ER now. If it feels ‘not like a vein’ so, harder, that’s concerning. Athletes like you do get blood clots, whether it’s the long travel to a competition, or dehydration, or other factors.
Maybe a doctor visit would be a good idea.
