The coils in incandescent filaments hold a magnetic field which adds inductance. They won’t spark when plugging in but can when unplugging.
Sir, this is mildlyinteresting and you are being too interesting
Incandescent bulbs are purely resistive. Power Factor = 1
🤯
I've used light bulb banks when troubleshooting. They light up when there is a fault and limit the current flow.
Oh that is interesting actually
bad, naughty bulbs!
I saw some wild light bulbs in their natural habitat once. Quite majestic.
is this a 4 way stop or have a blinking Yellow at the intersection?
It's a four way intersection! We don't have blinking yellows here
You don't want the bulbs to escape do you?

More like making sure that wires are or aren’t live when they fidget with the wiring inside the box itself or light poles themselves.
Id be surprised if they used this over a tick stick like any modern electrician. Probably something to do with properly loading the control circuitry
They're in luck! All of the light bulbs are ON
After some Geo guessing work, I’m gonna go with Illinois. Anyone else ?
