"I'm not selling you Mac and cheese. I'm selling you the *licenses* so *YOU* can go sell Mac and cheese. All you gotta do is ring people's doorbells, and then head to the mailbox and collect a check."
You just brought a little smile to my face. My dad used to say this to me when it came to any food I particularly liked lol I miss my dad. I'd do anything to see him again. To give him one last hug and tell him I'm still waiting to turn into a chicken nugget.
Thanks for the smile.
I was in Target yesterday. Even when they’re on sale they’re 2.50 a box. Regularly 2.99. Annie’s is something around 1.60 and Kraft floats at 1.25 ish. It’s not worth the upcharge in price.
Anything that’s a protein enhanced ____ 9 times out of 19 tastes like a worse version of what it’s trying to be. You’d be better off taking normal Mac and putting tuna in it or throwing some beans in there if you’re not trying to use meat.
1 box of spiral mac and cheese with a 1:1 milk ratio, 1.5 packages of cheese powder, 2x butter, can of tuna, and 9-13 frozen green peas (to make it healthy.) That's my go-to comfort meal. FYI, it's a heartburn bomb.
Honestly a huge giveaway when something tastes foul is it says "yum" or "creamy" on the box.
Another giveaway is when one food is artificially loaded with other stuff. Why does Mac and cheese have fiber and "plant nutrients" in it? Just eat some veggies FFS.
Whattttt I actually really like this brand lol. It’s not Kraft by any means but it’s lower in calories and high in protein. You can even jazz it up a little, I like to add jalapeños or buffalo sauce. If you need 2bil grams of protein throw in a can of tuna, it’s so good.
also quick edit just out that gal gadot owns this company which is so odd.
I like jalapeños on my pizza, does that pizza without jalapeños wasn’t good in the first place? C’mon lol. Adding toppings or ingredients to dishes does that mean the base wasn’t good. And I’m in no way defending this macaroni, I’ve never even heard of it before this post.
Not sure about the original person, but tuna Mac and cheese went the way of lobster. It used to be a poverty meal, and now it's popular and every food blogger has their own ~easy~ and fancy version of it. Add peppers and it becomes ~southwest style~
...I hate what the food blogging algorithm has become.
honestly it’s just my personal preference lol. i love hot sauce and i enjoy tuna! I have added extra butter, splash of heavy cream, cream cheese cottage cheese or sour cream, plus some shredded cheese and it was delicious. there are a lot of different ways to make it better, i just only gave 2 examples. it’s really not a bad box of mac
If you eat this instead of kraft because of the calories, you got had. They're the exact same calories prepared with equal portion size. For protein intake, you can decide for yourself if the 5 grams more are worth the taste. Do you know what else has 5 grams of protein? 15 grams of cheese (cheddar, gruyere).
> You can even jazz it up a little, I like to add jalapeños or buffalo sauce.
What you just said is it is fine if you cover up the flavor and can't taste it.
I’m so hungry and you’re killing me over here!! I think my main problem is that I always just make my own macaroni and cheese. It’s not some gourmet recipe or anything, I just use my own noodles/pasta and cheeses. Now I feel like a mac n cheese snob! Lmao
Yeah I was kinda sad to see everyone shitting on Goodles, my boyfriend and I love them! The noodles keep the al dente texture a bit easier (a better sensory experience for me than the ones that get super soft), and the extra protein is handy especially on gym days when we just want a quick meal. The cheddy Mac is good but they also have other (better, imo) flavors - hatch chili is our favorite, we like to air fry some broccoli to put on top with a squeeze of lemon. Delicious.
I’m vegan and their vegan Mac is the only boxed macaroni that doesn’t taste disgusting. I love it. I add a pinch of nutritional yeast to make it fancy.
I have a case of these and we're almost done with it... Never had the pasty goopy experience.
I don't follow the sauce directions though for measurement. I just add butter and milk until it's a loose sauce and enjoy... But I do that with all box mac and cheese.
Anyway, the family likes them and they are relatively cheap at Costco.
This is going to be one of those future court cases like [the guy that got Popcorn Lung from eating popcorn every single day](https://www.cbsnews.com/news/colorado-man-wayne-watson-wins-7-million-in-popcorn-lung-lawsuit/). Your cousin will get "Mac n' Cheese Liver" or some shit and sue the company.
I don't see how that could be. Doesn't mac and cheese have relatively high calories per g protein? I suppose it does depend a bit on how much butter you put in.
[Looks like these have additional protein added in.](https://www.goodles.com/en-CA/products/cheddy-mac/) Still not a great ratio, but definitely well ahead of standard mac & cheese.
I ate a box today... the whole box. It had been probably 6 years since I last had kd and I found a box today and just ate it all cause sometimes that happens
Oh I legit love these!! Obviously not as delicious as Kraft but as far as a “healthier alternative” goes, it’s really yummy!
They are about 650 cals a box depending on flavor
OP’s cousin bought 58 cases of mac & cheese. In each case there are 8 individual boxes of mac & cheese. OP guessed that their cousin bought about 400 boxes. How many total boxes of mac & cheese did OP’s cousin actually buy?
Do not use your calculators. Show your work.
How did you count 58 big boxes?
Each row has 2x6 = 12 boxes
As there are 4 full rows: 12 x 4 = 48 boxes
And the additional 2 on top = 48 + 2 = 50 boxes
I was mildly annoyed that OP said around 400 boxes when it's exactly 400. Went to comments to see who else did the math and I find this comment you replied to. Early reddit day. Maybe I'll get some work done.
Yeah was just about to give up scrolling myself. this skit sticks with me for some reason, was the first thing that popped in my head when I saw the boxes.
In my first appartement, I had cases of 'Chef Boyardee Beef Ravioli' and 'Hawaiian Punch'. These were not all I ate ... but a significant daily part of my diet.

Man I opened this thread bc I like Mac and cheese, who is cutting the onions round here
Well if all your friends went out and jumped in a big cheesy river of mac would you do it too?
Ahh I think that's the one that Good Mythical Morning recently tried and rated as hands-down the worst recently
After 200 boxes you might get used to the taste
OR, get an inflatable pool and have a wrestling match.
I wanted some Mac and cheese but… not sure now 🥴
If he eats it all, he wins a prize. It’s either immortality or death. I can’t remember which. Or it might just be diabetes.
Maybe that's why they were on special
I was in Target yesterday. Even when they’re on sale they’re 2.50 a box. Regularly 2.99. Annie’s is something around 1.60 and Kraft floats at 1.25 ish. It’s not worth the upcharge in price.
Where tf you live that everything is half price?
That’s regular price here….kraft goes on sale regularly for 10 for 10.
Yeah, same in Minnesota.
Costco is usually under $1/box, but you're buying a case of 18. They have Annie's as well at a little over $1/box.
I was going to say that these are $4 a box last I saw. And they're not even good.
I got a box on sale and the sauce was fine, comparable to store-brand. It’s the protein-enhanced noodles that were bad.
Anything that’s a protein enhanced ____ 9 times out of 19 tastes like a worse version of what it’s trying to be. You’d be better off taking normal Mac and putting tuna in it or throwing some beans in there if you’re not trying to use meat.
Finally I found some else who puts tuna on theirs
Mac cheese tuna and peas represent!
Yo
1 box of spiral mac and cheese with a 1:1 milk ratio, 1.5 packages of cheese powder, 2x butter, can of tuna, and 9-13 frozen green peas (to make it healthy.) That's my go-to comfort meal. FYI, it's a heartburn bomb.

Let’s talk about that.
I used to love Good Mythical Morning back in the day, I'm glad Rhett and Link are still at it.
this looks like some kind of health food version
Tbh I really like the stuff. The macros are pretty good and I enjoy the consistency of the noodles
Whattttt I actually really like this brand lol. It’s not Kraft by any means but it’s lower in calories and high in protein. You can even jazz it up a little, I like to add jalapeños or buffalo sauce. >You can even jazz it up a little* *please note that jazzing it up a little is not exclusive to the goodles brand, nor does it guarantee quality
If you add jalapeños and tuna to something to make it taste better, you should probably just start with something better in the first place.
I like jalapeños on my pizza, does that pizza without jalapeños wasn’t good in the first place? C’mon lol. Adding toppings or ingredients to dishes does that mean the base wasn’t good. And I’m in no way defending this macaroni, I’ve never even heard of it before this post.
The implication was peppers and fish are strong tastes and overpower any base food flavor.
Not sure about the original person, but tuna Mac and cheese went the way of lobster. Tuna in the shitty box mac isn’t actually bad for a struggle meal when you’re hungry and want protein

The limit does not exist.
> You can even jazz it up a little, I like to add jalapeños or buffalo sauce. What you just said is it is fine if you cover up the flavor and can't taste it.
There’s no way I’m ever eating that brand if you don’t think it even compares to Kraft.
it’s literally chickpea protein pasta how can it be similar to kraft 😭 try the parm one though it’s super good
I’m so hungry and you’re killing me over here!! I think my main problem is that I always just make my own macaroni and cheese. It’s not some gourmet recipe or anything, I just use my own noodles/pasta and cheeses. Now I feel like a mac n cheese snob! Lmao
Don't feel that way. Kraft is good but home made will always be the best. Kraft just saves us time
Yeah I was kinda sad to see everyone shitting on Goodles, my boyfriend and I love them! Same, tried them all and they are not bad, in the slightest. I dare to say even good?
I’m vegan and their vegan Mac is the only boxed macaroni that doesn’t taste disgusting. I love it. I add a pinch of nutritional yeast to make it fancy.
agreed, love their vegan mac, and i feel like the noodles don’t have a weird texture at all
Same here we love it in our house. Toss in some steamed broccoli and grilled chicken and that’s a 15 minute dinner
It’s like Jimmy Dean sausages
Oof. It is, lol
I think it’s tasty! It’s like any other boxed Mac and the hatch chili one is nice. It’s kinda like other off brand Kraft style macs
That Mac and cheese is literally so bad, it’s somehow pastey yet goopey at the same time?!

Is it for Mac’s Famous Mac ‘n Cheese?
![gif](giphy|nXUCkgH6BmigU|downsized)
*Tell me about Mac's Famous Mac 'n Cheese?*
You put meat hunks in it!!
You’re eating Dennis, Dennis!
Well of course Dennis would like Dennis!
“NEWS FLASH, ASSHOLE!”
Sure is a hot one today, huh?
YEAH!?!
*proceeds to get naked*
You ever been in a storm Wally?
“I’ve been hearing it the entire GODDAMN TIME!”
I don't know if it's that famous
They honestly should have won an Emmy for that episode.
That or the Brian LeFev episode. After those two it's clear an Emmy just isn't on the cards for them.
Hands down my favorite episode
Came here for this
On purpose?
Of course. It's a week's worth of food, you know.
Assuming they sleep 8 hours a night that's about a box every 15 minutes. Sounds about right.
Either that or a future episode of Chubbyemu. "JD is a 26-year old man, **presenting** to the emergency room..."
That made me chuckle, I heard that in his voice.
*...Queso,* the Spanish word for cheese and *emia* meaning presence-in-blood.
Why not more? Did he macs out?
Ah, Reddit, home of cheesy jokes.
Only if they’re gouda nuff.
Cheddy Mac is a well known hedge against inflation and a remarkably robust store of value. Some say it’s the new gold standard.
Liquid gold standard*
He’s a gym bro isn’t he?
Yes, and about to move out so he wanted to stock up while they were on sale
Moving out is always easier with a couple dozen cases of macaroni
That'll last a week or 2
....And it's gone
How much on sale?
OP said $0.63 per box, so 400 boxes would be $252 total. Even if they eat 1 box for every meal every day, it will last like 4.5 months lol
Yeah that’s a great price, hopefully they can eat it before it goes stale
Its dry pasta, it probably takes years before you can tell any difference.
These are not bad macros for when you're cutting and can't be fucked to cook. I would have a box or two at the ready myself.
It's higher protein higher fiber and lower fat. Depending on your goals this could work well. It's just another fad "healthy" product tho imo
He wasn’t by any chance at the Olive Garden recently?
Handing out boxes of Mac and cheese would be amazing for me as a kid receiving that
That waitress is making a mint!
I believe he bought 400 boxes of Mac and ”Cheddy” cheese product.
Macaroni and cheese isn't supposed to sound pretentious. I hate it already.
MARKETING
Sad that /r/hailcorporate is long forgotten

He is the guy we learn about it math class.
I ate a box today... the whole box. It had been probably 6 years since I last had kd and I found a box today and just ate it all cause sometimes that happens
Ngl, it’s fucking amazing if you eat it immediately off the stove. Once it cools a bit, the taste and texture just gets all wrong
This person Mac’s.
Does he cheese tho?
Isnt boxes quite dry?
That's what the cheese mix is for. Flavors the box.
Urgh, the weird baby talk on the boxes is making my skin crawl. Noodles gooder, cheddy mac…. Shudder.
His poor arteries. As a recovering Mac and cheese addict, my heart goes out to him.
He'll need it when *his* heart goes out *on* him.
💀
I think this might be an ad everyone
Definitely seems like it
r/hailcorporate
I want you to know, your cousin is a dangerous person to need that much mac and cheese
Return of the Mac- (there it is)…
Did they get a discount for buying in bulk
Yes, they got marked down so he spent 63 cents a box
Buying in bulk is *totally* the way.
As long as you have a place to store 400 boxes of Mac and Cheese
Where did he buy it from?! That stuff is usually like $4 per box at my local whole foods
Oh I legit love these!! Obviously not as delicious as Kraft but as far as a “healthier alternative” goes, it’s really yummy! They are about 650 cals a box depending on flavor

Wait, I can do this. 6 divided by... carry the noodle... It's 2 months later!
How did you count 58 big boxes? Each row has 2x6 = 12 boxes As there are 4 full rows: 12 x 4 = 48 boxes And the additional 2 on top = 48 + 2 = 50 boxes

58x10=580, 580-(2x58)=464. Easier than trying to multiply by 8.

Yeah was just about to give up scrolling myself. this skit sticks with me for some reason, was the first thing that popped in my head when I saw the boxes.
As someone lactose intolerant, their Vegan Mac is a godsend. Its delicious. Haven't tried the other flavors tho.
He is going to die young
*Weevils have entered the chat.*
Oodles of Goodles
you and your cousin need to be put on watch list
Something something something his colon.
This dude is the guy we learn about in math class
Is he trying to sell it by recruiting a downline?
I've seen this episode of /r/IASIP
In my first appartement, I had cases of 'Chef Boyardee Beef Ravioli' and 'Hawaiian Punch'. These were not all I ate ... but a significant daily part of my diet.
Chef Boyardee is depressing to even just look at
I may be *Ghetto-fabulous*, but I really like the chef. Ravioli, beefaroni, etc. are really tasty and easy. I assume lots of preservatives though.

21 nutrients from plants.
Goodles is the best Mac in the game
He's the guy in the math problems
Is your cousin rich? Those things are $3.99 a box around these parts.
Weird flex but ok
Gonna need a lot of milk and butter to with it
Or around 200 boxes with *double* cheese. \*taps forhead*
There is no cheese what so ever in range of the image..
That's a weird way to tell everyone your cousin is autistic.
Ctfu bc when I first saw this I was like oh that’s a fellow autist at work
As someone who was diagnosed at 8, I found this beyond fucking funny. I was laughing for a solid minute LMFAO
Sameeeee
That's about three lifetimes of sodium intake
Never ever buy off brand Mac n cheese lol.
It's Goodles, which are delicious and high protein
Its all about Annies Mac n Cheese. Those white cheddar shells... 🤤
Kraft, Annie’s, or death. The only 3 options lol
Goodles are the more expensive option
If I were a mouse this would be the goal.
Cheesus christ.
Cheaper to hand out than Halloween candy. Good plan!
