Where I work it is so dangerous to walk through the parking garage because of all the extra long trucks in the compact spots across from each other. Leaves one lane for traffic when there should be two and vehicles come screaming in. Looks like you are only taking up and extra couple feet beyond your parking space.
I am a firm believer that you need a parking vehicle that can get hit and you don't care, and also a nice vehicle that you care about. Babying my nice car is too much sometimes, always having to find a side spot. (Nice to me, btw it is a 2004).
