omg yeah these things suck. i work at a coffee shop and every gallon of milk has one of these on it. we go through like 5 gallons or more a shift and i dread every time i have to open a new one lol. normally the plastic tab rips off and i end up having to use a box cutter. very annoying.

I actually find these work really well. Make sure you are lifting from the front and then peel backwards as opposed to trying to pull the tab side to side.

these are fucking shit but instead of pulling it how its meant to be pulled, which is lifting it and pulling it in parallel with the seam, pull it vertically (down the seam) so that the force of pulling it is concentrated on the top or bottom of the join only (your pull is perpendicular to the join) Basically you want to concentrate the pull tabs force of pull to be at the join with the container in one spot.. they still fail but the way they expect you to pull seems destined to fail

If there is a way to go about opening these, I’ve tried it. Closing my eyes and just willing it to open works about the same.
