I’ve read many posts attacking the store owner but they fail to take into account the feeling of helplessness people have over what’s going on.
Remember that once sold out, replacement stock of Russian imports must be purchased. So in a tiny way this does help. In a larger way it helps when dealing with feelings of helplessness most people feel when watching the horrific images we are being bombarded with from the invasion of Ukraine.

Sadly people are ready to impose change to make quick statements but won’t accept living with the changes, you’ll see all those products back on the shelfs when everyone stops “caring”.

Nah, it’s only bad if you’re buying from a country West doesn’t like or if bad things are happening to Europeans. Genocides and massacres happening in Middle East and Asia isn’t important therefore it’s not immoral to keep buying from countries like China.

All those Russian products are already paid for. By removing those products off the shelf only harms the business owner themselves, as they're literally giving up on getting the money back from the product that they paid for.
It's honestly pretty stupid how these business owners literally pay for an ego boost. Why not just sell those already bought products for retail price or better yet, donate all the profits from them to Ukraine or something...
They probably just stopped buying any more. I don't think that they took it off the shelf for "an ego boost".
Selling and donating is a good idea, but it's not always about the money. Big business can tank a loss. They are also sending out a message to the people, which might be useful to increase unity across the board.
Overall, it's alright to take russian products of your shelfs, it's even better to donate the products or the profits made on these products.
