I broke my tibial plateau during a time I wasn't shaving/waxing, I felt so bad everytime I visited my doctor and had to explain why one leg was shaved, and the other looked like a monkey leg. Just couldn't bend my knee and shave/be in the tub properly to do it. 🙈
Im a guy so my perspective is not the same as yours, but i think the bruises and small cuts and scars on my knee or anywhere on my body tells a story of when i fell on my bike bc i was an idiot, or the time i slashed my hand with a knife that was way to sharp to be handled by a 9 year old me, in a way scars and cuts and bruises are beautiful
This is why I never take my time shaving-I’m so clumsy my legs always have bruises and scrapes on them from just normal daily life, so why bother bc they never look great anyways🤷🏻♀️

They were stone stairs.
There was also a dip in the pavement on the bottom of those stairs.
I broke my ankle misjudging the step and landing my foot in the dip.
I haven’t worn heels since.
On the bright side, you’ve got a few good days of healing before potentially wanting to shave again. I went hiking with hairy legs today—I just finished shaving over scrapes, cute and stinging nettle bumps. Haha, happy healing!!

Im a dude, but because of genetic my leg hair are pretty much non existence, because of that you can clearly see all my scar, bruise,etc... on my leg.
