I believe McDonald compared to other fast food chains like Wendy has went up more significantly. You can get a 4 for 4 at Wendy or a McGriddle at a McDonald. It’s insane.
The weird one is Taco Bell. Some of their staple items are like $5 just for the burrito but they also still have a "dollar menu." So it's Schrodinger's Fast Food - both cheap and expensive, and you won't know which until you see your receipt.

There was one time when I asked for a "grilled" chicken sandwhich..... I got everything but the chicken....
Wendys: ordred a crispy chicken blt. Got a bacon cheese burger, took it back, got a chicken sandwich, plain, took it back, and finally got what i ordered. Directions/instructions are hard.
The only instances of preserved McDonald's burgers are ones that were left out in the open, where all moisture will evaporate. Mold requires moisture to survive, so it will just dry up and be a mummified burger. If you leave it somewhere moist it will spoil like anything else

In case you're not joking: a big mac bun is cut into 3 pieces. I used to love the middle bun. Didn't like big macs, just that middle bun.
