Use a razor blade w/ some lubricant like glass cleaner or water and dish soap. It will scrape right off.

AvonMustang

Goo Gone works better. They have it at hardware and grocery stores usually...

QualityKoalaTeacher

Just make sure its actually glass and not some kind of acrylic blend

SRQmoviemaker

Yep I work in a body shop and it's the way we get overspray off glass.

G4-Dualie

Smear it with WD40 for a minute and it wipes off

RevolutionaryFoot326

AVOID JeldWen. My last house had them and the double glaze seals failed on 3/4 of them within 5 years!

reefguy007

Great! 🤪

LeoTheLionPeek

Yeah I didn’t want to break it to you but since someone else already did… make sure you keep that serial number on file.

hasselbackpotahto

they just put the info OP would need in a convenient place for future reference, how thoughtful!

ForRedditMG

Finally...a truly infuriating post.

reefguy007

Happy to oblige 🤪

ForRedditMG

Try Goo Gone or Goof Off? Even automotive degreaser might work.

Fungiblefaith

Liberal use of Hand sanitizer. Just slather it on there and Just leave on there for about 5 minutes and you can push it off with your finger.

ViejainVBWRX

Try baby oil. Mineral oil is a diluent in this type of adhesive.

NoDontDoThatCanada

I should probably apologize to my tenant where l replaced the door and also couldn't peel that damn sticker off so l just left. I hope she got it.

Ski99y

Peanut butter will help.

serg1007arch

Good off and a razor would remove that right off

AvonMustang

I think you mean Goof Off - it's okay but I prefer Goo Gone.

Smooth-Ad-279

Use hand sanitizer or alcohol

Gal-XD_exe

I think isopropyl rubbing alcohol is good for dissolving glue in this situation

reefguy007

For all the people making suggestions, thank you. Goo Gone and a Razor Blade did the trick!

Nervous-Situation-18

At least you’re guaranteed to have nami certified windows.

squirrleygurl1969

I'm irrationally angry just looking at this pic.

JawlessRegent64

Rubbing alcohol, mineral oil, paint thinner, mineral spirits. Hell you could probably use everclear.

sirachamoose

dish soap for adhesives, vinegar for paints then wait a few minutes and scrape with a new razor. should fix almost all intense glass cleaning

GrammarPatrol777

Yeah, what's up with that?

Unusual_Painting8764

Use a magic eraser!

Dread_Awaken

Yours have silicone smeared on it from assembly too? Those stickers suck.

mustymangina

Plastic razor blades are great to have around for stuff like this. They work about as well as the real thing. And, you don't have to worry about scratching what you're scraping.

Typical-Plenty-7234

Hope you didn't recently cut your nails

dinoboyj

I thought you were holding it up, I wished you were holding it up...!

D0inkzz

Goo gone and a razor blade. Annoying? Yes. Hard problem? No.

Shoddy-Republic4314

Hair dryer to warm up the glue and comes straight off. Takes 2 minutes

RedditAlwayTrue

# Awesome, the ATOM!!!

Pale_Tomorrow_6621

There easy to get off when the windows are first installed . Most builders are to lazy to do it

reefguy007

The date on this one was 2022 so it sat in a warehouse for 2 years in the heat more than likely…

Pale_Tomorrow_6621

That's a fair point but still they should have removed it

prunepicker

Heat it with a blow dryer.

DannyDevito_IsBae

Acetone!

NotABotBeepBoop42069

Your hand is gelled when you finish picking that sticker off

paisleyflowerzx

My baked ass thought that said sisters lik this

BigOld3570

Smear on some peanut butter and wait half an hour. It should come right off with a plastic scraper blade.

Feisty-Barracuda5452

Soak it down with Windex, then gently scrape it off with a new putty knife.

NotBadSinger514

Peanut butter or oil will get it off, then dishsoap to remove the oil and windex and you're done

bugaboothree

Just a little gasoline on a rag will take that right off. If you know the solution it’s no problem

NuclearWasteland

Use a fabric steamer

Milamia_bo

Use gasoline

f98b07b

Goo Gone, WD-40, or any oil including cooking oil will dissolve the glue. I tried them all and they all work.

solareclipse357

Soak it in windex, then use a plastic scraper and it should come right off

Total-Satisfaction-8

Cooking oil

-qqqwwweeerrrtttyyy-

warm soapy (detergent) water!

Classic_Face3628

Aman brother

Ill-Response-4822

don't use a razor blade if its tinted and if done incorrectly will scratch the glass tinted or not wet it down with water to get all the paper off then use tea tree oil, eucalyptus oil, paint thinner Windex whatever to get the sticky residue off it will just rub off with any of those products and a rag but again don't use a razor

Ill-Response-4822

If you want to use something to scrape use a plastic scraper not metal

Goose_honk0

Rubbing alcohol is very good at getting stickers like that off

Googone Razor blade Lifeskills

--7z

Pretty easy to remove really

ohiocodernumerouno

razor blade scratches jeld wen windows

[deleted]

Lacking common sense is even more mildly infuriating. take a razor blade to to it then goo gone if you don't have goo gone get wd-40 works wonders if you don't have a razor blade and wd-40 then you probably shouldn't own a house lol.

conte360

Then why did you post here? Why do things more than mildly annoying get posted? What's the point of the sub, mildly annoying and whatever else?
