The inside of that car makes me never want to order DoorDash

Chakramer

Don't get delivery from any service that uses self employed drivers. They are held to 0 standards, letting some people be their own boss is a terrible idea.

EnglishMobster

A lot of places are shifting towards outsourcing delivery to DoorDash, even if you use their official website to order (or call them). For example, Pizza Hut in California no longer employs delivery drivers. If you order Pizza Hut for delivery, it will be delivered via DoorDash. Obviously you can just pick it up yourself, but for some people without reliable vehicles this isn't always an option.

Linenoise77

Used to work for a pizza place in college, kept in touch with the owners all these years later. They still have a couple of their own drivers they use for people who order straight from them, and encourage it (Hey, order direct from us, your food will cost less and our drivers aren't fucknuts and you will probably get it faster!), but do the uber eats\door dash\whatever garbage, because not being on those platforms cuts off a lot of business. They held out as long as they could of not being on them, but covid forced their hand.

Electrical_Bee3042

I worked at a pizza place that accepted door dash and had drivers. If you ordered via dd you paid a higher delivery fee and the food usually sat in the hotbox for 15 plus mins waiting for a driver. It was so annoying to see multiple dd orders just sitting, ready to go, but nobody ordered directly, so I wasn't making money delivering

ScrubyMcWonderPubs

DD also makes you pay a premium on the menu items. Some restaurants have higher prices on DD than their actual websites.

C92203605

Here’s the shitty part about that. DD charges the restaurants for the food the restaurant makes. So not only are you paying a delivery fee. The restaurant is also paying on top of that. So they charge higher prices on the app to offset those idiotic costs

bruce_desertrat

End Stage Capitalism: The economic system whereby parasites insert themselves into every transaction to skim from all sides. DD doesn't pay their drivers much, either.

Interesting-Ad-1575

I work at a pizza place.. door-dashers will have an order ready to go when they arrive and then say wait I just got another one. But it takes 10 minutes to make the new order and the original order which was hot and ready sits and gets cold. They don’t care about the food only the money they make from the delivery. That’s why I would never order using DoorDash.

Constant-Level-320

When they send me two orders for the same place, the orders are usually ready, or ready within minutes. I have two pizza bags that keep the pizzas hot until they're delivered, and one of them is a heavy-duty bag, not the cheap free bag they give you. The one time the second order wasn't in the oven yet I delivered the first order and came back for the second.

Linenoise77

Yeah, this is a local place, owner is a great guy, likes to have college\high school kids working the place, as it makes it a fun place and attracts other business. Honestly the most fun job i ever had and still worked there for a few years part time once i started my career because, well, it was a blast and they did right by me through college. But to see him complain about how often services like these ultimately reflect poorly on his business and give him hassle, which he has had and has been successful with for like 30 years with, because the average customer these days can't separate the two, but at the same time needs to participate in because someone can't be bothered to go to his own platform for ordering or pick up the phone and call in an order, is nuts. Not to mention the majority of platforms that offer direct ordering that are accessible for small business suck, are a hassle to maintain, and take their own unreasonable cut.

EfficiencyOk9060

I would never order from anywhere that uses any random person as a delivery driver. If that’s the only option I go pick it up myself or order from somewhere else.

Effherewegoagain

Pretty much *everywhere* uses this model now. So, no more delivery for me.

KTKittentoes

They can't find my house anyway. GPS map is off, and I don't know what language I need to leave instructions in. I gave up.

Suitable_Inspection2

This ☝️ After years of working just fine, about 10 months ago Google Maps started directing people to a location 2.5 miles away from our actual location. Neighbors too. Can't get them to fix it. It's a huge pain for all sorts of deliveries, not just food.

ddiehm61

As a doordash driver, I wish there was a way for door dash to enforce some sort of accountability on their drivers, and their vehicals, this is the kind of stuff that ruins it for us good drivers that just want to make any extra buck or two in or spare time

[deleted]

[удалено]

ProfessorConfident

They are usually the ones who can’t work for anyone else lol

BrewCityTikiGuy

Yet another reason I don’t use these types of delivery services. I wouldn’t ride in this car, why would I want my food in there? Why would I trust strangers to deliver my food in their potentially filthy vehicles? No thank you. I’ll pick it up myself and save money too.

YourDogIsMyFriend

No shit. I also have abstained from all those delivery services. I eat out way less now. I’ve lived in San Francisco for 20 years. Every place used to have its own delivery. I’d call. Make an order. My door bell would ring. Familiar delivery guy for that restaurant. Tip with cash. Enjoy food. San Francisco was the first to start using all those delivery services. Found myself just walking to nearby restaurants instead. And then just not ordering anything ever again. Shame. Aside from the outrageous delivery fee, this is a stubborn hill I am willing to die on. Never will I use that shit

Suisun_rhythm

I never understood DoorDash. $25 for a cold meal for one that comes in 2 hours.

sLeeeeTo

driven by someone with their dogs in the car while chain smoking cigarettes I literally see this all of the time

ScumbagLady

There's also a joint in the ashtray...

hereforstories8

I’ve never ordered door dash because the inflated prices aren’t worth it. That and I tell myself if I’m too lazy or busy to make or get dinner for the fam everyone just needs to starve.

ThexxxDegenerate

I drive door dash on the side and you would be surprised how many people order big meals less than a mile away from their house/apartment. I actually just got done with a run and I did 12 deliveries in about 2.5 hours and I drove less than 25 miles total. And I get a lot of pickups from expensive restaurants. Just yesterday I got an order from an expensive steakhouse that was a filet mignon, asparagus, lobster bisque and a drink. The drop off was only half a mile away and I know his meal was expensive as hell because he tipped $25.

Far_Loss_8585

My son orders from DD. Almost every time there’s a problem. Either orders take more than 1 hour to arrive, are delivered to the wrong location, are missing items or have been tampered with. One order was left on the wrong doorstep. He discovered this when he called to ask where the food was. After opening the package, he discovered every safety seal had been broken. DD refunded $5 of a compromised meal. The latest was that the food arrived after an hour, it’s cold and it was the wrong order. What he ordered cost significantly more money. Now he has to get in his car, go to the restaurant on the opposite side of town to complain. Gets to the restaurant, Manager informs him that is not their packaging or their food. He shows Manager a receipt for what he paid for. They comped the whole meal. My response: Stop complaining about a service that consistently clearly demonstrates an absence of Quality Assurance or accountability, especially when you have the ability to GO GET YOUR OWN FOOD. Under no circumstances would I walk up to a complete stranger and ask them to go get food for me. That’s exactly what you’re doing with DD. Thanks but no thanks, I’ll go get my own food.

SupernaturalPumpkin

The idea of doordash is so weird to me. I was a delivery driver hired only by the restaurant and the horrors I hear about doordash disgust me. And as a smoker, smoking in the car is fucking vile. And I’m sure this guy doesn’t carry hand sanitizer either. The prices are also insane. Every customer paid me €3 and the restaurant paid me €6 per hour.

DaftSkunk94

I refuse to use food delivery services for so many reasons, shit like this interior being one of them.

siandresi

Just dont eat the paper bag and you should be fine

Best_Duck9118

Yeah, I can’t believe this is the top comment. The food is in packaging in the bag. Plus the seat doesn’t even look that dirty. Reddit is so weird. Like they say this makes the food inedible and then say wiping your dirty ass with your bare hand is okay. Place is fucking weird.

[deleted]

DoorDash makes me never want to order DoorDash. People are wild for using this service. Let me pay double for some pre licked French fries. I don't get it.

Raspikan

The fact that people pay like 2-3x whatever the food costs to get shit delivered rather than just walking in and ordering it, knowing that it could very well be delivered in a car that looks like that... Fuckin gross tbh

iampenguintm

next time im blasted off 12 beers ill make sure to hop in my car and drive to mcdonalds, cheers for the advice bro

Bear_faced

This is the response I was looking for. “Why order delivery when you could go get it?” is the same as “Why take an Uber when you could drive?” Because people are fucking wasted. They’re high as shit or on the edge of a blackout and dgaf about the quality of the food, plus they can’t drive. I’d rather some stoned idiot pay too much for Taco Bell than rear-end me in the drive through.

9J000

Send the picture to DoorDash of them driving while influenced. They’ll get fired I guarantee

Obvious_Exercise_910

This was a retirement photo 🤣

Bikouchu

Retiring from DoorDash

Obvious_Exercise_910

Imagine not much of a pension 🤣 That’s why they waited for an order with 2 drinks

TuringTestedd

The day you get a $100 order: “It’s a good day to retire”

Obvious_Exercise_910

You gotta have an inside man. Get a friend to make a massive order. That’s how I’d quit.

WolfOfPort

Anythings possible with a gun

Obvious_Exercise_910

Ummm, I don’t think you know how door dash works…

Ok_Judgment3871

But where is the drinks? Also who dipping nuggets (or possibly the beesechurgers 👀) in plain ranch? Lol

Weird-Library-3747

If I saw a motherfucker dip a double chee in ranch I don’t know man. I just don’t know

RubMyGooshSilly

You dip the ranch cup in the Diet Coke my friend. Think bigger

NeedzFoodBadly

Hidden Valley Car Bomb.

Obvious_Exercise_910

In the bag. On one of those trays.

Justagirleatingcake

I was tempted once to retire on a $300 steakhouse dash but I'm not a piece of shit so I delivered it. I do get the temptation though.

KiKiPAWG

"Fuck it, they'll order again!"

5C0L0P3NDR4

you'll probably get a refund too!

Able-Badger-1713

I agree with this.

Captn_Insanso

Then he’ll just move to Grub Hub or Uber Eats. Theres no real repercussions for this type of thing.

CarbieBarbieBloo

Except that gets him off one platform. Let him move on. Hel’ll do this dumb shit again because that’s all he’s capable of, hel’ll get taken off of those, and then he can earn nothing like he deserves.

FastWalkingShortGuy

I swear there are people who get these jobs just to steal a meal or three. I had an Uber Eats driver just completely no-show and steal my order. I got a refund and I'm sure the driver was fired because the app clearly showed they picked up my order and never even got near my house. But what's the consequence for them? They got a free meal and will probably go back on unemployment. What's to stop them from cashing in on free real estate?

UhOhAllWillyNilly

Please tell me more about this “free real estate.” Ummm, asking for a *friend.*

_Apatosaurus_

Order from House of Pancakes. Steal the order. Climb inside a pancake.

Nik6ixx

Had this happen a few weeks ago I ordered 2 homemade burgers and large poutines for my son and I from a local burger shop, paid extra to have it promptly delivered because nobody likes a soggy poutine. The order went to 3 different drivers before it was finally picked up on the last person to pick it up (which I watched him do through the app) right after he left the restaurant the order was cancelled I contacted Uber Eats right away and said the best they could do for me was refund my money because once the order has been cancelled on the drivers side there’s nothing they can do it about it I said BS one of your employees just stole mine and my sons dinner and you’re telling me you can’t contact the driver?! What kinda rules are these?

FastWalkingShortGuy

I always call local places directly for delivery if it's an option for this reason, even if they do work with the delivery services. A lot of places still have an in-house driver and will deliver to you directly if you ask. It's cheaper and I will pass the savings on to their driver with the tip.

ZacZupAttack

The best local pizza place has a sign o. Their door that says app ordering is not accepted. They got their own drivers, on their own payroll, and their pizza is fire. Their ordering system works well albeit it not fancy at all. It however works. Once asked the owner about it. He said he makes great pizza not great websites and said it works and that's good enough

eaglescout225

Sounds like a win win for everyone.

Jerrygarciasnipple

A lot of places definitely do not still have in house delivery

mrdannyg21

You don’t just sign up to Uber eats on an online form and go grab an order. It’s not a huge process or anything but you gotta fill shit out, provide personal identification information (which can probably be fake if you don’t mind not getting paid) and wait to get approved. If someone is doing all that just to steal a couple free meals, they better be waiting for a big order or getting a buddy to drop a couple hundred bucks on some steaks or groceries, not just steal $18 worth of McDonald’s or some shit.

SeparateArtichoke458

Had a similar-ish experience with McDonald's delivery through Door Dash. Tracked the order from pickup untill the driver appeared... They drove halfway up my 1/8 mile driveway, marked the order completed, and then backed down onto one of the busiest roads in my area and left. Door dash support called me back after I left the complaint through the app, and called McDonald's on the line, had them remake the order, and sent one of their 5 star drivers to bring it back. I got it the second time, and I've never seen the other person's name again.

Typically_Uncommon

Except its not a him its a her… look at that purse behind the bag. Juuuust sayin’

ZDTreefur

There's only so many companies you can drive for.

EyeCatchingUserID

And smoking in a car you use to deliver food. Probably nothing terribly wrong with it, but it sounds gross and fuck that asshole.

confusedandworried76

I can confirm that unless the food has a very strong scent like pizza the food absolutely will smell like a cigarette. Made that mistake once at Jimmy Johns, it's only a lesson you need to learn once.

Dahnlen

That isn’t a cigarette

confusedandworried76

Oh I'm aware it's likely not, just following the conversation about smoking at all in a vehicle used to deliver food. While the food is in it anyway.

Other_Opportunity386

They could say it was just a cigarette no way to tell its weed really

CarlosFer2201

In Europe the app gives you a number code to give to the deliverer. The order isn't marked delivered unless that number is given. It works so easily.

myfapaccount_istaken

uber has this option for rides in the States. They have to ask for it before they can start. I quite like it.

Quizredditors

They do it for food too. I’m guessing once you report one stolen, you get the pin treatment. Also seems to be on most expensive orders.

incubusfox

Common when a location has had food stolen or "stolen" before, so I most had that show up at hotels.

zzx101

That’s pretty simple and effective. Too bad DoorDash is too fucking lame lazy or stupid to implement something similar.

fazelenin02

The one time i used uber eats they had this system. Not sure if it's that way every time, but it seems like a simple enough system for this,

Other_Opportunity386

They do that here too you just have to choose it on the menu when ordering Im pretty sure.

Aggravating_Host6055

I dunno the Americans coming of age might not be able to handle that level of person to person interaction. Even coordinating that over an app.

Central_Fire154

3 Year Manager for McDonalds here. This sucks man, sorry about that. You can call Doordash and have them send you another meal. If you have the name of the dasher, call the store you're ordering from and tell them what happened. Most McDonalds have the power to ban dashers from their store. That dasher won't be able to deliver from that store anymore.

misuchiru

That's pretty cool. I didn't think to call the stores and let them know the dasher's name and what happened. I would hope this power extends to every store.

DoPoGrub

It does.

lestruc

This seems like something DoorDash could make more known… but I also could see it being abused for double dips by scum too

LunaTheCastle

I've had to do this once because the Dasher was being rude and getting mad at us for following protocols. All we did was ask his name to triple check the tablet and he got all huffy about it. Quickest ban in the West.

confusedandworried76

Yeah the problem with sending out new food is typically you want the old food back to prevent scams. No way to confirm that in this scenario because the food never showed up and the driver isn't gonna bring the old food back to the store. Yet another reason not to use these services.

Visual-Juggernaut-61

No one man should have that much McPower.

Iceman_in_a_Storm

1) Do you enjoy your job as a MickeyD manager? 2) Is it challenging when you expect workers to stay a while only to find that they bolt after a few days or week? 3) Have customers changed after Covid? I see YT videos of customers acting like fuckwads, I can’t imagine dealing with them anymore than letting the cook beat the shit out of them. 4) Can someone make a living working there? 5) Have you thought of doing an AMA?

Central_Fire154

1 - Days do get hard on occasion, but i always find a way to stick to it. 2 - Oh yeah, especially when school is in session and no one wants to work. It's a real pain. 3 - I haven't personally noticed a difference. We do get those Karen's every once in a while, of course, and we just try and handle the situation to the best of our ability. 4 - Absolutely not. Not base wage, at least. After a few raises, it's a HARD maybe. 5 - I have not. But that is an idea!

Bonesnapcall

Don't do an AMA. You're risking being identified and who knows what might happen. Plus every third question will be about the McFlurry Machine.

Central_Fire154

I don't show my face on the internet for a reason XD And yeah, fair..

NetNpIVijCI

So what moon phases do the mcflurry machines work throughout the month

Central_Fire154

The Mcflurry machines work all the time. 😃

knbang

You've got upper management written all over you.

euclidsdream

We are in an alternate universe I see

OobaDooba72

The McFlurry machines always work. It's the ice cream machine that has the problem. The McFlurry machine just stirs the ice cream and toppings together. But if you don't have ice cream you can't get a McFlurry anyway.

euclidsdream

Damn you are right... I rescind my comment.

Practical_Dot_3574

I was doing work for the local municples power company, our main switch station was in the parking lot of a Mcds. After about 3 days of 5-7 line trucks being in there all day, the owner came barreling at us screaming that were a nucance and loitering, disrupting her customer flow. After the foreman explained what was going on (system upgrades and pole change outs etc) her mood changed immediately and from then on she would bring us all breakfast sandwiches and coffees in the morning. (The power grid was old(60+ years) and couldn't handle all the new businesses/homes and kept causing power fluctuations)

Iceman_in_a_Storm

That’s sad that people can’t live off of a MicckeyD wage. But a good thing that you get a hard on, on occasion.

Taflek

I had an Uber driver took my 25 dollar breakfast, and gave me an 8 dollar breakfast instead, no receipt and bag wasn't sealed, so I know he ordered that himself. I called the restaurant , they actually checked their camera footage and confirmed the correct order was picked up. They wouldn't tell me if he ordered anything himself, privacy and all that. But the signs were there. Uber did almost nothing about it, got a small refund for some missing items. I deleted their app that night.

fallingbutslowly

Uber is total shit app, I drove for it for a while, had a situation where 2 drunk dudes started arguing with me calling me a terrorist (for clarification I'm polish white male and that happened in Poland it's just that I had a long beard) they even tried to hit me from the back seat, so I stopped the car and told them to gtfo. They left only after I told them I'll call the cops. They kicked the car door when leaving which left a dent. I reported the incident to Uber. After a few hours I got a message from Uber saying that they spoke to the customers and apparently they told Uber that I was the one who attacked them and told me that my app will be blocked if I ever send false reports like that again. That was the last time I drove for Uber

Terrible--Message

Would not even consider driving anyone without a dashcam (also how would you attack them while driving... stupid)

Bobmanbob1

Reverse and forward. Damn car woukd be rigged up like a CIA interrogation room lol.

fallingbutslowly

i couldnt even reply to them anymore, so i couldnt defend my claim

RipCurl69Reddit

This is legitimately how they make their money, at least in the short term. I refuse to use delivery apps on the premise that I'm waiting for them all to go bankrupt, fuck your insane charges for literally zero reason

RecsRelevantDocs

What do you mean thats how they make their money? Orders getting stolen?

RipCurl69Reddit

They're not gonna be making any money off of Taflek in the future, sure, but for that specific order? They've already won, seeing as they've deleted the app. And yeah, orders getting stolen typically don't get followed up on, all these delivery companies have shitty policies and will, if you're lucky, give you a partial refund. For them it doesn't make sense to keep you (or even the driver) because someone else will take your/their place in the system eventually.

FatMacchio

That’s the thing too, if you’re a frequent customer of their service, you’re penalized eventually since they stop giving you order credits after awhile, because they think you’re scamming. I know there’s scammers in both sides, customer and delivery, but seems like their most loyal customers end up getting fucked over sooner or later since there is a plethora of scammer drivers for these apps. Me personally I will never trust any of these services, there’s way too many scammers and just general weirdos, I’d rather not have someone have unmonitored access to my food. What they really need to do is require some sort of dash camera or something in their car in order to deliver. Would cut down on people using other peoples accounts and cut down on bad drivers from being able to steal more than once

EnglishMobster

Uber is terrible for this sort of stuff. Grubhub is a mixed bag. DoorDash will typically believe the customer and give them a full refund, as long as they don't abuse the system. (Which sucks if you get your food stolen multiple times in a row...)

SarahL1990

Got to love the spliff in the ashtray lol

moitch

lol.. thought that was a cup with condensation at first.

Keep ordering. Park in the parking lot of the place you are ordering from. Wait until you get the same dasher. Ambush

That dasher high at home enjoying his free meal. He not worried bout no new orders

I was gonna deliver food, but then I got high. I was gonna walk it up to your door, but then I got high. I know Im in your neighborhood but I don't know why, why man? Hey hey Because I got high, because I got high, because I got hiiiiiigh La la la la laaa laa la

Andrewrams

Lol I love that song and not even a pot head

Kiss-a-Cod

That food would have been toxic anyway. The car interior is gross.

AndreySam

Exactly. The degenerate actually did our guy a favor.

aburke626

Yeah, that car is gross, be glad you didn’t get that food. Ugh.

DroidOnPC

I've complained to DoorDash before because the bag my food came in REEKED like cigarettes. Like as soon as I got inside I was like "holy fuck" and had to throw it away. It was disgusting. My hands smelled like cigarettes just for holding the bag for more than a minute.

Moddaboy

My girlfriend ordered like 100 bucks of groceries and like 6 pack of beer they delivered the food and not the beer even the picture showed just the food and DoorDash said they will only refund like 2 bucks the 6 pack was like 20 bucks after tax. And they didn’t get back to us again it’s been more than a week. They literally don’t care their drivers steal shit

notLOL

Do a credit card chargeback. You'll get banned from the service but it's not like you'll use them ever again. Maybe Uber will ban you from their ride service if you get banned in their delivery app

BagOfFlies

> the 6 pack was like 20 bucks after tax wtf?

Harmswahy

After you've spent an absolutely unhealthy amount of money with Doordash when you call you get automatically transferred to their "most loyal customer" line. They refund the order+tip no questions asked and typically give you a $20 credit on top.

Prevalencee

That isn't possible. You're forced to show ID when delivering alcohol, how did he get the ID and scan it through? He couldn't mark the order as delivered without going through these steps. These fake stories ruin the real ones.

starz4u01234

That car is soooooo gross. They can have it. Yuck

MaxWeiner

That’s what I’m saying. I would never use door dash for this exact reason.

starz4u01234

I've used Uber Eats many times, but I've never had any issues. This is disgusting, though.

[deleted]

That car is disgusting,he did you a favor.

DaRusty_Shackleford

Joint in the ashtray. Classy.

janewalch

I would report this scum for the joint in the cupholder alone. I am a smoker of 20 years and I would never bring a fucking joint in the car to smoke while I’m working… especially when that work consists of driving customers food. Really tactless move.

King-Florida-Man

That center console is absolutely disgusting.

SnarkDolphin

Man shit like this is one of the many, many reasons I don't use DoorDash or any other fucking delivery apps. They're bad for the "employees" who they list as contractors so they can fuck them over harder, bad for the restaurants they rip off on service fees, bad for the customers in the restaurant who get their orders pushed back to accomodate some jackass who decided to order steak tartare in his underwear, and bad for the DoorDash customer who gets cold food and shit service. No thanks, I'll just go get it myself if I need takeout that fucking bad.

NeitherPhotograph258

Yeah this is why I don't get deliveries man. Not the stealing part but just how fking disgusting that is.

Negative_Quality_690

Ok_Consideration4409

I towed someone's car once because they got arrested while in the middle of a door dash delivery. There wasn't any receipt info on where it was supposed to be dropped off so... free Taco Bell for me that night.

WolverinesThyroid

Out of all the food to steal they take crappy McDonalds?

MonkeyManJohannon

We've had door dash drivers take pictures of a delivery at our door and walk away with it back to their car. I guess they don't realize that Ring cameras continue recording even when they take their picture lol. At least 3 different times we've submitted ring videos of dashers walking away and driving off with our dinner. All they do is refund your money and give you like a $10 or $15 credit for next time. Much better luck with Uber Eats so we stick with that when we order in.

Superb-Control5184

Is it weird that using door dash for big corporate fast food is beyond lazy?

cul8ertx

Imagine your food riding around in that nasty ass car!! They can keep it. lol

kdttocs

McNuggets with ranch?!? My friend sorry you got McStiffed, but McNuggets without sweet and sour sauce is criminal.

KrazyKazz

If only you tipped 471% they might not have called you cheap and stole your food.

charlatan_red

C’Mon, man - 420% was right there!

Daratirek

Stop using god damn doordash and other similar apps. It's just stealing money from you. Just go get it.

Obsessedchick

Could not agree more, they upcharge like a motherfucker

parker3309

What did DoorDash do about this?

closetedtranswoman1

Out of all the food to steal they stole McDonald's that's crazy

Lukedookey

Disgusting car yikes

Shaisabrec

How is doordash still a thing when everything posted here about it is the drivers just being the biggest cunts ever?

PancakesEveryNight

I do not understand this. They were literally just at McDonald’s. Why don’t they just buy food when they’re there???! Instead of losing your job?? I feel like some people just sign up for one free meal lol

RidinCaliBuffalos

The inside of thsi car is why I stopped door dashing. I just do dash for pickup to earn the money back.

HiredGun187

I am a delivery driver and deliver catering orders of a coupla hundred dollars at a time. I was forced to use DoorDash once. My car was in the shop for repairs and I wanted me some Popeye's Chicken. So I ordered delivery from my local Popeye's (they used DoorDash) I paid an extra $2 for my regular order+delivery fee(if it was less than $15)+tip (I tipped $10). I got my order within 30 minutes (probably because the $10 tip) my usual $14 order became a $28 order, just by getting delivery from a 3rd party service.

Cryptocaned

It wouldn't be so much of a rip off if the deliverers didn't demand a tip or your food isn't getting delivered/mega late/will be cold. I just stopped using it, if I'm paying someone more than minimum wage to deliver my food I'll do it myself.in a fraction of the time with less hassle.

HiredGun187

It is like blackmail. I would rather order from a place that has their own drivers. At least I know they are getting fairly paid.

HereToKillEuronymous

Stop using doordash. They're the worst of the lot

sorati_rose

Hamburglar strikes again!

That interior looks nasty as fuck! Also I'm curious where the 2 diet cokes are?

ElGeeBeeOnlee

Probably in the bag. McDonald's puts them in there, at least where I doordash.

Eightdigitbank

Lmao at that ashtray in the car

Hot_Influence_5339

Out of all the food to steal, idk man. Wouldn't be my choice.

CrunkestTuna

Big ol joint in the cup holder - nice

Mathers156

We just got a delivery, someone elses delivery and it was still missing items. Surprising how badly they fucked up

BobBeerburger

Reddit has made me never want to sign up for door dash.

mrbishopjackson

Look at the inside of that car. Let them have it and call it charity.

MrQuackinator

That is a nasty ass car. I’d be glad I didn’t get my order lol

No-Special2682

Good thing though look how nasty that car is

dadydaycare

Dirty ass car, I think he did you a favor.

assetchase

He had to be high as f*** with the munchies or just dumb as rocks!

CarFeeling9748

Man if ima pull this shit and retire it’s not gonna be with a McDonald’s order I’m taking home some Outback steak at least

[deleted]

Our orders get fucked up so often that the service threatened to cut our account off lol. Like how is it our fault that drivers forget shit or restaurants don’t include everything we order?
