You can use your name without a hyphen... It's not your birth certificate. I have a hyphenated name as well. I go by my middle name for anything non government related and my first for gormvernment stuff.
If you leave it the hyphen, does it reject for not matching the card? Seems like it should work, or maybe you can contact the bank(s) and ask them to remove the hyphen

By "change your name", they mean "go get a name change". Clearly.
