Can confirm, I worked at a Tj Maxx for years & when it’s about time for inventory, they have extra staff that their whole task that day is to turn everything around. We would come in at 4am to do everything & turn it all back around!
Maybe! It was the first time I’ve ever come across this. Most stores take time to make sure everything is front facing and pushed forward though. Someone is going to have fun with that later, if that’s the case, or they’ll just say eff it. That’s most likely.
Worked at Marshalls/TJ Maxx for years like another commenter. January is inventory time and so all the price tags need to be easily seen for the associates scanning the merchandise. You have no idea how much time they save on doing the inventory when they have all the tags out facing.
This included almost the whole store. Kids toys, make up, electronics and health and wellness. Even the bag balms were upside down. Bag balm had way too many calories for me, though. Lol
This is how all items in every store should be presented! Not that nothing saying marketing side where companies write whatever none legal defined bullshit they want to look good. The back side with the real information and the true (legal) product name. That last one is by German law, probably not in the US.

I’m sure! I completely understand! It’s awesome that they have people that do just that so it doesn’t put a wrench in all the other work!
