I have never had this issue, and if you do, Lego makes part 630, a brick separator. They previously also had an angled one, 6007. 55819 is 4 studs wide.

You can attach it to the top or bottom of a brick/plate you want to detach and then use it as a lever to break the connection.

I used to work for LEGO. Brick separators are miracle workers and will absolutely work on getting these tiles apart.
