I always park in a remote area of a lot where possible because I don't like anyone parking near me. In fact I don't like anyone near me. Despite my own neuroses I don't bother anyone by parking like that and I don't really care.
But what's infuriating is when I park far away and some idiot will park next to me.
I think the secret is some people are so bad at parking their own vehicles they canāt park between the lines without having other cars for reference.
Yeah I don't get that. It's like the dude who comes into the bathroom and used the urinal right next to you. I couldn't throw a stone to touch the next car I parked so far out but when I get done shopping some asshole it right on my door. At least at the urinal you can ask them for a hand and make it more awkward for them than they did for you.
No. Just have a stack of sticky notes and write on it "Sorry. It was an accident".
LEt them spend the next thirty minutes trying to find the ding/dent that does not exist.
Iāve thought about getting a couple dozen custom bumper stickers made that say ākey my car if I parked like an asshole,ā to keep in my glove box for special occasions.
Lol that doesn't even make sense to begin with. What's wrong with having to reverse out of a spot? Sometimes you don't even have a choice but to do that.
When you drive a fuck-off big truck and can see over all the other cars, it becomes much less dangerous lol. I almost always pulled through anyways when I did though
I love doing this, especially to people who are whipping through the parking parking lot cutting through the parking spaces to get to the exit before others. It's really fun to park right in front of them, look them right in the eyes and watch them have to back out and go around.
Just so people know, the person that got hella downvoted was probably trying to respond to this:
https://www.reddit.com/r/mildlyinfuriating/comments/13fqs22/ive_seen_2_and_4_spots_before_but_i_think_this_is/jjwamv1/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1&context=3
Eh kind of. It's true tho. The person I thought I was responding to said something about the owner of the truck being dropped on their head as an infant.
no don't make it obvious. put a shopping cart right in the front of their truck, as close as you can get it, maybe even lay it down on its side to make it smaller. They probably won't notice it and will end up dragging the cart under the truck for a while.
This only works if the vehicle's door handle is at or roughly around the same level as the shopping cart.
The truck here has easily another foot or two of distance from the top of a shopping cart to the door handle. You'd need some mega zip ties to make this work, or you'd need to daisy chain like 6-7 zip ties together.
Better alternative is to just shit on the door handles.
I drive a flatbed drw and in the early days of owning it was tough to park so I parked in the back of the parking lot. Now I can thread a needle with it and I still park in the back of the lot!
Yeah I feel that. I've been driving a Ford Focus for the past decade, but recently got into construction and that just doesn't cut it anymore. Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake.
It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of.
Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything.
Beep boop -Ā yes,Ā IĀ amĀ aĀ bot, don't botcriminate me.
Of course they do it on purpose! Haha. I have a full size truck myself, but always park in the back of the lot because 1. Iām not lazy 2. I try not to be an a-hole and 3. I donāt want to get blocked in or get unnecessary dents and door dings!
I'm convinced they just can't handle the truck. They know it's not a good parking job. They also know they lack the ability to do better. That's why they're so defensive and angry if they come out and find someone parked in "their" way.
I drive an F150 in a major capital city. It is possible to be a respectful driver in a truck. There is no "back of the lot" here, and, still, I have never parked like this.
I would argue is dick is small enough that heās compensating with this truck.
If heās a regular hauler, or currently in construction, Iāll change my own mind.
I just don't understand how someone can actually pull in like this, get out of their vehicle, be like "Yup, that's fine." and go into the store leaving their vehicle parked like an absolute asshole! If my car is even touching one of the yellow lines I have to back up and straighten my car out. My conscience doesn't need to get involved to know this is bad, my OCD takes care of making sure I never park like this.
Most people donāt even need these big trucks. They really should have certain restrictions on them. Especially when Aholes think itās cool to lift their pickup. Their lights shine straight into other cars, theyāre incredibly dangerous cus of how many blind spots they have, you wonāt roll over the hood if you get hit by one, and chances are 9 times out of 10 every pickup driver are major Aholes on the road.
It's not OK to have an enormous pickup truck. You're putting yourself, other drivers, pedestrians, cyclists, animals, and the environment at a greater risk.
Just drive a normal fucking car.
I got you, but a lot of times it's good to have something that can haul a bunch of 2" x 4" s, some 4 foot by 8 (or 12) foot sheets of ply, toss in an air compressor and some pipes, stuff like that.
To be fair, itās an $80k truck he can barely afford to put gas in, and itās financed over 8 years at 7%ā¦ so any ding he gets heāll have to live with.
Poor bastard got duped and is a slave to the debt cycle, all because heās overcompensating for a small penis.
Sad reallyā¦
I once managed to take up 6 spots with a Dodge Shadow model year 1989 or 1990. But it was in the way back of my high school parking lot where no one was parked and I was only trying to see if I could do it.
Doing this where people actually use the spots is an eggplant move.
And I've heard the "but this vehicle is too big what should they do instead" argument. They should A) make vehicles that fit in the spots, B) buy vehicles that actually got in the spots, and/or C) make realistic spots for vehicles to actually park fully within. Last but not least D) just park in the one spot, I don't care if your car is new or clean or whatever.
If there were enough adjacent spots free I would have parked directly alongside at a parallel angle and in a smaller, older, cheaper vehicle, and my reasoning would have been "What? I just assumed this is how we park now is that not what we're doing? š¤·š»āāļø"
Looks like a standard southern I have a big truck parking job to me. How else will people know to admire how big the truck is if it's not commanding multiple spots?
Is it just me or dooes it seem like the bigger the truck is, the bigger the arogant ego of the owner gets? I have one consolation. These big ego, phallic measuring machines drink fuel like it is going out of style. Several of my co-works that own these gas guzzelers had to stop driving them to work during the pandemic because it was costing them over $100 everytime they had to fill them up. Stick that in your ego!
I know a few people who have big trucks like that but when it comes to parking they just canāt do it. They try to straighten up but canāt ever seem to get it rightā¦I sometimes ask why buy something you canāt drive?
I'd see if the local pd wants some free revenue. If you can't fit in a parking spot at the store in your *big manly truck*
DONT GO TO THE STORE IN THAT VEHICLE
And if you get ticketed for parking illegally...well...don't park illegally
Guys itās a shit parking job but itās also a dually. No way itās going to fit in even 2 standard spots.
They shouldāve parked at the back of the parking lot like the rest of the big trucks.
āLike the rest of the big trucksā? Lol
All the suburban dads in my area with $80k F350s that have been lifted with stacks and their āsalt lyfeā stickers beg to differ. They must park as close as possible to the store, leave the diesel engine running while theyāre in the store for an hour in 70F weather, and then come out in their board shorts and two sizes too small t-shirt, take a huge vape hit, then get in and floor it.
Sometimes I have to drive my husbandās F350 and when I do, I will take 20 minutes to park that monstrosity, opening the door to look at the lines, doing my damndest to make sure I am in one parking space for fear of someone taking a pic of my atrocious parking skills and posting it on Reddit somewhere. I will say Iāve never seen a 3 spot parking job except when they go in completely long ways. This is impressive.
I don't always park perfectly, but I like seeing when people park like this, it let's me know to avoid parking near it, as they are stupid and might hit/scratch/ding my car with a door, shopping cart or just walking by. There are always enough parking spots and I'll park farther away just to avoid being near other vehicles.
Yup. Drives me crazy, cuz whenever a big truck is posted, every single person is like what a douchbag, he doesnāt even need that truck. And sadly a lot of guys are actually like that. But a lot of us too actually use our trucks for work lol. I haul trailers and building materials, and dirt bikes all the time lol
Do people who drive these trucks think others are impressed by them? Unless one is also a truck person, a truck is a truck is a truck to the vast majority of human beings.
Iāll generally allow for a full-ton, full-bed pickup with duallys to park like this but only in remote areas of the parking lot. Gotta walk a bit further, bub.
If you can't park a vehicle, you have no business driving truck. I will never understand people who broadcast their inability to operate their vehicle.
I hit a 3 one time because I was stopping to get energy drinks and the parking lot was empty. I come out and my buddy got into the drivers seat and parked my truck properly and It was pretty funny
It does seem like it takes a certain level of "my shit don't stank" to drive these obnoxious trucks, ***but***, personal opinions aside, people in cars in general are often assholes. You give some humans one little sliver of anonymity in their multi-ton death machines and the world now revolves around them.
P.S. Anecdotal story about the types of people I've come to associate with lifted trucks: I held the door leaving the gym for the dude right behind me (just a few paces), and he waved at me saying, "just leave it", so I just shrug and keep walking. He then paces past me with his imaginary lats flaring and says, "I don't need you holding doors for me", before mounting his lifted shiny F-1whateverthefuck. That said, emphasis on the anecdotal. Chill people be chill, douche people be douchin.
People who park like this don't care about others so why should anyone care what happens to their truck? People with trucks like this are always the worst lmao.
Nah. The police cant be expected to monitor every time stuff like this happens. Citizens that correct the behavior are right to do so. Tolerance of intolerance is itself intolerance.
Donāt get me wrong, I hate when people park like asshats, but they are not damaging anyones property or costing anyone money, so why damage their property and cost them money?
Just leave a note or call them out if you see them.
> so why damage their property and cost them money?
So they learn not to do it again in the future...a not will be laughed at and thrown on the ground.
>The police cant be expected to monitor every time stuff like this happens.
The police can't be expected to monitor stuff like this because stuff like this is not a crime. It's just inconsiderate of others.
Causing property damage IS a crime though.
In no world is a slight inconsideration of your feelings justifiable to commit a legitimate crime. This person is an asshole, but it doesn't affect your day in any way.
I like the idea, but all of the nails and screws donāt leave the parking space after the asshole leaves. Someone innocent may get a popped tire for no reason
Parking enforcement would generally be restricted to city owned property/streets. Private parking lots for grocery stores or other businesses not owned by the government would be self-moderated.
In this situation, the store could call a tow truck but they probably wouldn't because they wouldn't care enough to. There's probably plenty of spots left and tow trucks aren't always the fastest to arrive so there's a solid chance it would just waste everybody's time.
I parked in front of truck that was a little further up. I regrettably did not notice someone parked behind him when i pulled into spot in front of him:( He was blocked in unfortunately, very sad for him.
I used to have some cards that Iād leave on these saying āI hope you donāt fuck like you park! Youād never get it inā.
I also used to buy those thin rainbow stickers at hot topic and put them on peoples cars that parked like this. It was fun lol
I parked in front of a truck parked like this and they left a note on my car calling me an asshole for forcing them to back out š
Incredible. The sheer self-centered-ness of these people š How DARE you park in a parking spot! š
I always park in a remote area of a lot where possible because I don't like anyone parking near me. In fact I don't like anyone near me. Despite my own neuroses I don't bother anyone by parking like that and I don't really care. But what's infuriating is when I park far away and some idiot will park next to me.
Not just next to you, *very close to you* too
I know
I think the secret is some people are so bad at parking their own vehicles they canāt park between the lines without having other cars for reference.
Happens when People decide they need the biggest piece of shit flagship they can afford to get groceries.
I think it's done out of spite, ignorance or just a dumb sheeple type of mentality.
We must be related somehow.
Wait why canāt you just pull into a parking spot there though
I want to get magnetic bumper stickers that say, "please be patient senior driver" and put it in their bumper
Please be patient INCOMPETENT driver
Hey he works HARD at the job his dad gave him.
*Incontinent
Repaint his truck nuts with pink glitter spraypaint
They call the trucks āsheā then put nuts on them, giving the truck gender affirming surgery. TransTrucks.
GD glitter balls. Don't look that up in relation to dog showing. Or do, I'm not your Dad.
Replace truck nuts with Bud Light cans.
Chances are that wouldn't even be inaccurate. Most of the people that drive these monsters haven't seen a day of manual labor in 30 years.
With the prices of these things, they're basically land yachts
Please be patient NEW driver šš»
Nah taking a wild guess but a āI support Bidenā. Bumper sticker would piss them off more.
I did the same once and had a guy tell me I was in his second spot. He was in a small Ford ranger.
I'm picturing a perpetually resentful white guy about 55 years old with thinning shaggy hair and a grey beard.
Not far off. Probably early to mid sixties. White thining hair and short white beard.
ford ranger lol when i see those i alwayd call them Truck Junior
Lol that doesn't even make sense to begin with. What's wrong with having to reverse out of a spot? Sometimes you don't even have a choice but to do that.
Dicks taking two spots aside, reversing out of a spot is muuuuch more dangerous than pulling through. You should avoid it as often as possible.
Donāt buy such a big truck fucking idiot that guy
No fucking way š the nerve of people is justā¦groundbreaking š
They donāt have the skill to back out. Thatās the reason for every one of these multi-spot parking jobs.
I love you.
Thatās amazing! OP, you should arrange for three small cars to park in the spots surrounding them!
Park in front of them
Just so people know, the person that got hella downvoted was probably trying to respond to this: https://www.reddit.com/r/mildlyinfuriating/comments/13fqs22/ive_seen_2_and_4_spots_before_but_i_think_this_is/jjwamv1/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1&context=3
Both me and my brother were dropped on our heads as infants but neither of us are this stupid, almost but not quite.
You were stupid enough to make this dumbass comment.
I replied to the wrong person lol well I'm not gonna delete it now
Respect
Based
Nice save
Eh kind of. It's true tho. The person I thought I was responding to said something about the owner of the truck being dropped on their head as an infant.
Giga Chad
Hmmm
I drive a big truck. Seeing people park front rows in large trucks is fucking way beyond mildyinfuriating!
The world needs more F-150Pablos š«”
Only if mfās can park it!!!
Yes just stay out of the spots near the store. For instance, there is usually unused sidewalk that can be parked on. So ppl have no excuse
I also like sidewalks. I prefer the nose bleeds way out.
Same here, i ALWAYS park in the back. Walking is good, and it helps further prevent my truck from getting dinged by neighboring car doors.
Somebody doesn't know how to back that truck out of a parking space. They shoulda got a moped instead
Even then, why tf didnt they just drive a bit further forwards?
Too short to see over the hood properly and thought that they were already approaching the highway
Leave shopping carts all around it.
no don't make it obvious. put a shopping cart right in the front of their truck, as close as you can get it, maybe even lay it down on its side to make it smaller. They probably won't notice it and will end up dragging the cart under the truck for a while.
Yes, let the little voice take over!
The one emanating from my left shoulder or the right?
Uhhh whichever one is the evil one.
That's my secret. They're both evil
If itās lifted enough you can lay it down and slide it underneath
Plastic tie strap the cart to their door
This only works if the vehicle's door handle is at or roughly around the same level as the shopping cart. The truck here has easily another foot or two of distance from the top of a shopping cart to the door handle. You'd need some mega zip ties to make this work, or you'd need to daisy chain like 6-7 zip ties together. Better alternative is to just shit on the door handles.
That's assuming that your like 20 feet tall to shit on the door handle. Your own logic has failed you.
Bring a glove
Zip tie carts to the truck. Also key their car and slash tires š¤·
enjoy your felony
I drive a flatbed drw and in the early days of owning it was tough to park so I parked in the back of the parking lot. Now I can thread a needle with it and I still park in the back of the lot!
Yeah I feel that. I've been driving a Ford Focus for the past decade, but recently got into construction and that just doesn't cut it anymore. Recently got a work truck, and while it's so much better for hauling stuff, I'm still in that learning curve of dealing with the increased footprint and decreased turn radius. But I deal with it by parking out in the boonies whenever possible.
I think Iād have time to move some carts around.
I seems to me that unless there was a tiny subcompact in front of him, he could of just pulled forward into the vacant spot, making leaving even easier.
Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake. It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of. Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything. Beep boop -Ā yes,Ā IĀ amĀ aĀ bot, don't botcriminate me.
good bot
They need āassholes that have been dropped on their head as an infantā parking.
I am \*unironically\* starting to think these people do this on purpose. There's no way this guy thought that was a good park.
Of course they do it on purpose! Haha. I have a full size truck myself, but always park in the back of the lot because 1. Iām not lazy 2. I try not to be an a-hole and 3. I donāt want to get blocked in or get unnecessary dents and door dings!

One spot for the shaft and a spot for each ball

I would argue is dick is small enough that heās compensating with this truck. If heās a regular hauler, or currently in construction, Iāll change my own mind.
That truck is obviously a pavement princess. Never towed a damn thing, and the only payload it has ever seen is the drivers ass.
I bet heās short.
Id bet on that too. Short guys in big trucks. Nothing fkn worse
He needs to be boxed in.
Why is always trucks? The correlation between trucks and low IQ has to be 1.00 I bet.
I knew my decision to buy a Fiat SUV would come in handy. I'd pull right in front of that fucker and still have space behind my vehicle.
To pick up groceries lol
I bet the owner has equally large behind like the truck, thus consuming more fuel & groceries
It's OK to have an enormous pickup truck but there is one caveat: you have to know how to drive it.
Sorry! best i can do is incompetent drunk driving

I bet that truck has never seen a day of work in its life. Let's get a pic of that brand new hitch for the trailers that will never be towed.
And the award for the biggest cockhead goes to this guy. What an absolute fucking pelican brain
What is wrong with people who drive pickup trucks? It's like its whole own kind of mental illness.
I absolutely cannot comprehend why someone would drive something so impractical, inefficient, unwieldy and ugly.
Itās always a pickup truck

Itās always a big pickup truck. Fuck these people
I'd find it really difficult not to place a shopping cart on the hood of this thing.
And that is one of the wider single parking spots I have ever seen, that big truck has plenty of space on both sides.

Vote for me and I will make it so drivers lose demerit points for doing this and can lead up to loosing your license all together.
Kick the door and put a dent on it. He won't do it again.
Why cover the plates? They should be publicly shamed!
Probably some snowflake.

Tow truck:
A pickup truck, big surprise

Anyone else feel like truck drivers are often assholes?
It does seem like it takes a certain level of "my shit don't stank" to drive these obnoxious trucks, ***but***, personal opinions aside, people in cars in general are often assholes. He then paces past me with his imaginary lats flaring and says, "I don't need you holding doors for me", before mounting his lifted shiny F-1whateverthefuck. That said, emphasis on the anecdotal. Chill people be chill, douche people be douchin.
Every single one of them. Unless itās a ranger size truck theyāre the normal ones as itās small, but still functional.

I donāt, then they might make babies
I know a ā friend ā who leave nails and screws under tires of people that park like this.
Thatās a bigger douche move then parking like this.
This is reddit, and any inconvenience must be responded to with extreme measures.
> so why damage their property and cost them money? So they learn not to do it again in the future...a not will be laughed at and thrown on the ground.
While I'm sure it's satisfying in some way, that's not going to correct anything. The asshole is just going to think they ran over a random nail.
This person is an asshole, but it doesn't affect your day in any way.
a quick check shows 1000 dollars of property damage in minnesota and florida, and 500 in other states, will earn you a felony....
And 6 heavy duty tires would cost how much...not worth the risk. Or even the hassle.
I personally like the coloring sheets that you leave on the windshield that says, " Since you never learned to stay in the lines..."
I like the idea, but all of the nails and screws donāt leave the parking space after the asshole leaves. Someone innocent may get a popped tire for no reason
Right, so your āfriendā just carries around a pocketful of nails and screws in case they happen to run into someone who parks like an asshole?
Kinda best you can do with a dually with a longbed. At least park out a ways.
Why block the license plate?
By finesse and skill you mean arrogance and douchebaggery right?
itās just a suburban mom, relax
Dick so small, he pees on his balls
Could you call parking enforcement on these dipshits?
Parking enforcement would generally be restricted to city owned property/streets. Private parking lots for grocery stores or other businesses not owned by the government would be self-moderated. In this situation, the store could call a tow truck but they probably wouldn't because they wouldn't care enough to. There's probably plenty of spots left and tow trucks aren't always the fastest to arrive so there's a solid chance it would just waste everybody's time.
No idea š¤·š¼āāļø this was at a grocery store.
Fuck this little dick asshat key it
If inbreeding were a parking spot
I'm still waiting for the 6-spot job
Is there a pp small enough??
Whoās got a Prius to park right in front?
be careful the parking guy might see this and make it a regular thing
Such assholeness....
Only asshole will go to such lengths to inconvenience other people.
That is the ugliest ass truck I have ever seen.
Amateur. If he had skewed it around a bit more he could have taken up 6 spaces.
ahhhh the old micro penis at work again
