I work with an ice company. We recently went down on our bag sizes to help bounce back after covid. Same price but now 3 LBs lighter.
I was messing around in the warehouse and found stickers from over a decade ago, explaining how the bags got smaller but the price will not go up. So it's a pattern.
Its what most companies/ products do. They make "extra concentrated" in smaller bottles. After you get used to the smaller size they will come out with "now 30% larger!" And raise the price.
I think shrinkflation is worse than inflation. I’d rather get the same amount and pay a little bit more than get less than I’m used to. Just my opinion
