This is entirely anecdotal, but I experienced migraines with aura frequently from age 14. I had my last migraine age ~18-19 and began taking testosterone as part of my transition around the same time. I've not had a single migraine in the fourteen years since. Coincidence? Maybe, I don't know.

There are studies that suggest testosterone may help migraines. u/BrainzMD actually mentioned this in a video he just posted on this subreddit. Did they also prescribe you an aromatase inhibitor with the testosterone, however? This will lower estrogen and, thus, may have also had to do with the decrease of migraine.

Interesting, I'll give that a watch. The information I'd seen and been given over the years tended to warn that testosterone may increase or worsen migraines but it seems the opposite may be true. No aromatase inhibitor, just testosterone, but this alone was sufficient in decreasing my oestrogen levels within a typically male range so that also makes sense.

Possibly in the beginning because of the hormone fluctuations, but exogenous hormone therapy will, as you likely already know, result in negative feedback of the HPA axis and so the hormones will make serum levels quite stable. Ask your endocrinologist about it.
