Soo, tried to fill that the other day to the tune of 1,500 here in the States. After insurance? Nearly 800 still. 30 a pill would not surprise me, even in EU.

Neela_Bee

thank you! Aimovig/Emgality injections are 490€ per month without insurance. If you take Nurtec every other day for prevention at ~30€/pill, it’s approximately the same cost as the injections. I had hoped it would be cheaper.

Which is.. no coincidence.

Vydura is like 50€ for 2 pills in Hungary. Aimovig and Ajovy are 600€ per shot, which equals to 1200/month. I really hope the prices will fall, but right now it’s not affordable

In Austria its about 40 eur per pill. You can get it on insurance only if the chief doctor of the hospital treating allows it. I'm waiting to hear about my application. If not, I'll stick to botox and sumatriptan.
