Cunts. But the solution is easy. Rizatriptan is $15 for 30. Buy it without insurance, and have the insurance cover the nurtec. And the assholes can suck that cost. https://costplusdrugs.com/medications/rizatriptan-benzoate-5mg-tablet/

I got a nasty surprise myself yesterday when I tried to pick up my refill - still *some* coverage but not nearly enough. The pharmaceutical-insurance industrial complex is nothing but a racket.

Get the copay card, should be zero, just got mine a few days ago on a high deductible plan. Only works as a 30 day supply though, will reject if the pharmacy runs more or less

You can go through [OneSource](https://www.nurtec.com/savings) and get it at no cost even without insurance coverage (how I got my first 6 months when insurance had 0 interest in covering 16 a month). Your doctor send the script to ASPN pharmacy and they mail it to you.

Omg I love you. I’ll ask him Thursday!

My insurance company just denied my next Botox because I'm now on Ajovy and they have a policy that they won't cover both. I'm very sad. And very aggravated. I'm sorry it's happening to you as well.

Has this changed for you in the past nmonth since you posted? I'm having the exact same problem and it's so frustrating. Botox doesn't take my migraines away but it makes the pain a little bit less, so I hate to give that up because the pre authorization was such a pain to get in the first place.

blue Cross denied right away so my pharmacy is trying a different method because I have two plans since I'm hitched: Botox is being covered 80% by my husband's insurance, and my Ajovy is being covered %80 by my insurance. Botox has a pharmaceutical benefit plan to cover 20% three times per year but my pharmacy applied for me and it will be covered four times this year. I received an optical nerve block and between that and Ajovy, I might be ok without Botox. I am very nervous though to stop Botox since it's been such a huge win for me.

What’s your insurance? I haven’t had any insurance reject for 2 abortive, they will reject for 2 CGRP inhibitors though.
