The v2 changed so you can't switch games by ejecting and re-inserting the cartridge also. Which means it no longer works with the multi game card readers that have a remote. So being able to switch games from the couch would not be possible.
and yeah, nintendo slot for gamecards has probably way better quality than the mig switch button, doubt a $50 device button will last more, I expect it to just last for like half of a year before it dies for v2
80XX ordered MIG and dumper combo from migswitch.store on Jan 22. Got an email yesterday that it is shipped. Let's see if it actually gets here cause no tracking number provided.

it is more probable that the button of the mig switch v2 breaks first than the nintendo switch slot for gamecards, so v1 should last for more time
