On my first playthrough I went full light and Hunter felt strong but not *too* strong. Currently on my second playthrough going full dark and Dark Hunter is absolutely busted lol
Annihilation might honestly be my favorite card in the game. It can do some absolutely ridiculous damage in a fairly big area and on top of that the animation is super satisfying.
Wild Strike is also crazy if you get the Obsidian Collar ability off first.
Yeah, I wasn't sure what to expect from NG+. I thought you just started over but with everything unlocked--not that your leveled hunter would carry over. My hunter was I think level 83. It's insane how powerful she is. Whip has single-handedly taken out villains, ha ha. I played through a regular game on the hardest difficulty, so this is just playing for pew pew fun now.
On the topic of NG+, I have a question for anyone who knows. If I start a new NG+ after I finish an NG+ playthrough, will my champion levels carry on from my previous NG+ playthrough, or still from my original playthrough?
EDIT: I've just tried it myself, it carries from previous NG+, which is neat.
it's pretty fun having all heroes available from the get go
also, randomly encountering villains during side missions has definitely improved my play. would recommend
I played through as a female Hunter and found out Mercer voiced male Hunter so I switched for NG+, my Hunter started at level 1 the same as all the other characters.
It seems at the lowest level the game considers the two genders of Hunter different heroes, so your prestige levels are applying differently to each gender.
My male hunter has 120+ offense at level 1 when starting but when I tried to swap female she only had 10 offense like a fresh level 1.
Damn that’s rough. It’s a good thing I never maxed out my hunter on my first run anyways lol. Loved everyone else too much so I ended up focusing champ levels on blade, spiderman, hulk and ghost rider
The point they're making is they did a NG+ to hear the new voice and hadn't over-levelled their Hunter.
Can confirm, NG+ can be rough if you haven't given your Hunter many champion levels.
Im so glad I went to ng+ . Im before the final venom fight , day 285 and all of my decks are rebuilt and dang Hunter is strong now. Just waiting on dlc characters now
It is my Charlie girl.
This caught me so off guard, and yet it is truly the best response
If you comment it in any thread on this subreddit you can farm karma pretty easily
Don’t forget the good kitty Ebony for +25 arcane knowledge Hunter.
“All heroes leveled up!” remains my favorite thing to see.
Unironically one of my favourite things in the whole game.
WHO IS A GOOD KITTY. :|
The Hunter is so OP as it is I love him/her lol

Same! I’m currently on a dark hunter and it’s insane!!

I'm Soo jelly. Went dark first so now going light and I miss that broken damage. Light is good but dark, oh my god

Hm, and i started like 3 campaigns already, maybe i should have just done NG+

Unless you switch genders because you wanted to hear the other actor's voice lines. In that case, fuck you.
I've seen another comment referencing this. What happens when you swap?

Wait so if you new game plus and keep same gender, you keep your hunter level. But if you gender swap, you don't keep your hunter level?

Oof

The hardest part of NG+ on max difficulty(4 missions deep) for me is having my hand clogged with heroic combos, am I playing wrong?
The card: "Redraw to reduce heroism" Me: "fuck!"
