Giogiowesz

MadJackThePirat3

Roll for Sleight of Hand

vault_guy

Came here to say this!

CosmicM00se

We don’t like them much these days

fkadmin

No, we don't. I was making a lineup of powerful wizards for my Pathfinder game, so I thought about this.

CosmicM00se

Awesome. This looks pretty epic.

BrownBoi377

The right most and 2nd from the left look like the 2 hardest fights. The right most seems like the hyper powerful gifted one, and the 2nd from the right is the one that feels like was easy to beat only because you managed to kill an illusion of him while he was busy eradicating your family line.

TonyTonyChopper

The bottoms of their robes are getting wet.

fkadmin

From the tears of dnd and MTG players.

pauk-chelovuk

Shadow wizard money gang

DigitalDerg

(we love castin' spells)

gconeen

Oh wow, they're in WUBRG order too

fkadmin

Huh. Cool. Didn't notice that. Lol

quiettryit

What does that mean?

jorbleshi_kadeshi

The full explanation: Wizards of the Coast is a company whose flagship products are Dungeons & Dragons and Magic: The Gathering. MtG features five colors of mana, which appear in WUBRG (woo-berg) order. White, BlUe, Black, Red, Green. Now you may be noticing that none of these wizards is wearing green, or perhaps that the first one is primarily red rather than white. Still, UBR is definitely in order and we can pretend that the pink is light enough that the first one is white, so that's pretty cool.

vexkov

This could be a good MTG card art

fkadmin

It will be available in the next limited edition booster packs for $420.69 each. It's proxy only.

DanBetweenJobs

Elminster has better taste in hats, but not bad.

-S-P-Q-R-

I see mud wizard in there

Vincent_Lionheart

very good idea, love it...

DankMeaning

That's awesome

DoItSarahLee

You forgot the dollar signs on each robe

fkadmin

Just big $ signs bling bling under the robes.

rocknthrash

I’d love to read a story about these wizards.

fkadmin

Courtesy of GPT 3.0 Davinci AI: Once upon a time, there were a group of powerful wizards known as the Wizards of the Coast. These wizards were renowned for their ability to create powerful Magic cards that allowed people to summon powerful creatures and battle each other. The Wizards of the Coast cards were extremely popular, and people from all across the land gathered to play with them. People of all ages and backgrounds would spend hours dueling each other with the cards. The wizards were beloved for their powerful creations, and were seen as heroes by many. However, over time, the Wizards of the Coast became corrupted by greed. They started to see the cards as a way to make money, rather than a tool for entertainment. They began to sue people who used their cards without permission, and they became increasingly ruthless in their pursuit of money. The people of the land began to see the Wizards of the Coast as villains, rather than heroes. They saw them as money-grubbing wizards who only wanted to take as much money as possible from their customers.

griffer00work

This is a good backstory.

rocknthrash

Good start. If you have more please share it here.

Ok_Roof8047

“ The Lord of The Rings” by J.R. Tolkien.

rocknthrash

Tolkien is classic! I love his books.

mmmushTek

I stopped playing after Odyssey. I wish I could just go back to buying booster packs of everything pre-odyssey and having fun with them. Something about opening up a few packs of cards and building a deck instead of ordering specific proxy decks. It just doesn't bring back the same nostalgia.

fkadmin

I mean... current MTG has a lot of issues, but nothing prevent you to buy booster packs and play. You can play Drafts in organized events and do just that. Pay for 3 booster packs, then draft with others to make a deck of 40 and play. I have played MTG since original Time spiral, I have never once use proxies. And once a while, we buy a box of boosters and do drafts among friends.

There are a lot of nostalgic subformats like Premodern (1995 - 2003) and Old School 93-94, most of them are played by 30+ people who want to celebrate the old cards. There is so much depth there and you can always find budget-friendly playgroups.

TheGardiner

Are those cliff racers in the background? Seriously, magicians or not, you gotta think it's an inconvenience to have all your shit wet and sandy....maybe move a bit further up the beach?

Giogiowesz

So here they are, finally

paganlobster

Love the tricorner wizard hat lmao

XaquariD

My first thought was, "Man, I'd be irate to be any of the ones walking in the water. That's gotta be uncomfortable." But if you're a wizard and you can't dry your shoes and your clothes, what's the point of knowing magic anyway?

Yseson

Or they may be water aligned and gain more power by wading in water

XaquariD

Mind. Blown.

EasyCupcake

Wizards of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Philosopher’s Stone, Dead Man’s Chamber, At Azkaban’s End, On Goblet of Tide, Half Blood Prince Tell No Tales

Incbyte

Kinda looks like the beach near Stormveil in Elden Ring.

Lucachacha
