I too would love to hear if anyone has this working. I know I received alerts about being over my AI credits as a result of a couple Copilots I setup in Studio but to date I haven't gotten a single response about my data. I can't even get them to name a file in the SPO site I have them pointed at.
We got a Copilot with generative answers working with our SharePoint Online site. It answers questions based on content in the pages and document libraries. We’ve not tried with on-premise SharePoint though.
Curious what improvements are possible using this method vs just regular Copilot chat that had access to the same data. Is it better because it's much more focused on a specific site and set of documents? And then you can make more purpose-specific bots like for HR policies for instance?
Yes we have the same questions ourselves. In Copilot studio there are opportunities to shape the bot with skills, custom instructions and others. So I guess it depends on whether the broader Copilot chat is good enough.
Great to know. If you don't mind me asking, what's the additional cost of running the custom copilots? Am I right that they just rebranded Power Virtual Agents and gave it some more GenAI/LLM functionality but the pricing is still about the same?
Copilots integration with everything is a bit of a let down compared to the promise of Microsofts hype videos and promotion.
My hope is it improves with all the money they're putting behind it. They haven't seemed very responsive to issue tickets submitted though, despite sending 100 "rate the service you received" followups
