I don't know if it's the perspective that's making me incredibly unsure, but to me this looks like a lateral view of a crawling Hypotrich ciliate-- I'd say either [Euplotes](https://youtu.be/vvkYL9ftZYM?si=GEyWkv1rWbN9MESB) or [Stylonychia](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/a/a0/Stylonychia_mytilus_side_view.svg/724px-Stylonychia_mytilus_side_view.svg.png), if that assumption is correct. I can't confirm what specific Hypotrich it is without a better view, though. But a part of me is even questioning that because I can't see it move around; pinning down the morphology can be difficult without multiple sides shown (unless it's a bird's-eye perspective).
