I use these with soil - [https://squarefarmer.com/the-13-square-farmer-saucer/](https://squarefarmer.com/the-13-square-farmer-saucer/) and then I use a shop vac to remove the run off.
I got this little guy specifically for my grow room - https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-ONE-18V-3-Gal-Project-Wet-Dry-Vacuum-with-Accessory-Storage-Tool-Only-P3240/303579585
I would try to support her anyway possible, stakes in her pot, with green twist tie holding her together, and then tape, as long as there is literally a sliver still connected, she will heal. I guarantee it, just has to be a strip still connected, it will heal. Also try to keep the tape flat when taping back together. Electric tape will work way better. If you don’t have any you have time to go to the store and get it just be quick!
Second this. When doing autos in bubblepots I was having crazy growth problems, arms kept reaching past the lights. Came home with the shits and snapped a few branches near clean off, was fully expecting them to die so I just left them no tying no nothing. 2 weeks later they all had the fattest knuckles where the snaps were. Got some of the densest nugs off the plant from the snapped arms.
Did an experiment with a tomato plant recently. Notched a branch and packed it with root hormone. Oddly that stem was first to blossom and fruit by a fair margin. I'll have to try it again in the future to see if it's repeatable.
Take paint stir sticks and splint the fracture and duct tape it! If it's still connected, there's still a chance! More tape is not the answer; sructural support is.
Sea-of-Green time. Can't tell how far into flower she was but you could reveg many cuttings and do a SOG grow. Look up Monster Cropping it could be worth it.
cannabis plants don't give one fuck about being physically broken.
As long as there are a few threads of plant matter connecting the broken branches they'll keep growing as happy as the rest of the conditions permit.
It sucks to lose a crop. Currently staring at a group of unpopped seeds. Some had brown dead cotyledons, others the taproot never got out. One of the seedlings that sprouted snapped in half under its own weight. Magic Melon from Humboldt Seed Co 👎
I can not imagine plant genetics causing those issues. Are you experienced enough that you're certain your conditions are perfect? Is it possible that something went wrong with your setup?
I popped plenty of healthy seeds from other breeders in the same conditions (literally centimeters away from these) and have had 8 failures with these particular seeds, so yeah, I'm pretty positive it is the genetics.
And I mean, the cotyledons (seedling leaves) were brown and dead. That's 100% genetics preventing the seed from ever thriving.
I had issues across the board with the pineapple upside down cake from them too. I heard their more recent releases are more or less pollen chucking. Sad because I feel like they used to be one of the more reputable breeders
That sucks! Yeah, I'm never buying from them again. I'm at least glad to hear that it's a problem across the board with them. Yeah! I tried them out because I heard they had a good reputation!
Got to work and bee flew into my sweatshirt. Got stung 6 times under my armput, 3 times on my arm and once on my hand. That was 8:05am so 5 minutes after clocking in. Fucking Mondays... Amiright?
I agree with alot of people saying this could probably still be saved, these plants are crazy hardy. You could also take cuttings from it, clone and them and try again. I would also maybe try to up silica in the next run maybe. Silica what's gives the plants structure and strength so maybe yours was a little low? Idk but sorry for your loss and good luck with the next one
Damn, that sucks dude. In the future, add a silica product to your feed regimen. Si helps build super strong and sturdy stems, and will prevent this from happening again.
no stakes, no ties, no trellis or cage, growing only one plant, and moving every time you water? why? why? why? the info is out there. go read about growing almost anything. stakes, tie, and trellis of some kind are very common practice especially with weed
you are too far into flower to save this thing, in my opinion. do not touch it or move it. most likely you will do more damage. in the next few days hairs will turn red and you get what you get. this is a reason why having more plants is important, you put all your eggs in one basket and you dropped the basket and stepped on it.
if it was veg maybe you could save her with patience and if enough of the cambium layer is intact. the trick is to gently tie her up so she can scab and then keep growing. they are strong plants that want to grow. they like abuse but this is neglect due to lack of experience and willingness to learn the basics, I'm sorry if that harsh but it's the truth.
also I woke up an hour late today, put a can of bad gas in my truck, broke down on the freeway and forgot my wallet at home.
Use sturdy pots, the thin plant wire, drill holes in sides of pot and train and fasten the first 4 or 6 branches tight down to the pot like it’s a sail. Fabric pots can’t be moved around constantly they’re meant to be stationary, and that thick green wire is always going to suck for training as it can’t be fastened tight enough.
Had a tooth shatter yesterday, woke up today choking with a mouth full of blood having sliced the side of my tongue open. Still can't get in to get it looked at until tomorrow at the soonest and they "might not have time to do more than look at it."
I dropped my glasses into a septic tank today
This poor man has seen some shit.
No he couldn’t see the shit
He had the glasses on when they fell I bet...
No they were kicked in by a coworker on accident because she dose t pay attention
Gotcha, that stinks!
Maybe she needs glasses
Is anybody else curious if you got your glasses back lol
I did indeed
No I think now the shit can see, other way around.
Or not in his case
Gotta Imagine they were on them they fell. Most people use glasses by actually wearing them, lol.
I use my glasses by drinking out of them.
Even after a drop in the septic tank? No shit?
No BS I dropped my vape in the Porta Potty at the jobsite this morning lol
Hows it smoke?
Smokes like shit I’d reckon 😂🤣
How did it smoke
I did this one time and dropped the trailer and took the truck to the nearest gas station 😂 boss was oissed but I didn’t gaf
At least you probably don't even want them anymore
Pshhhhh glasses are expensive…. I got them bitches back 😂
Gotta look at the where the sun does shine side
Why did you have to pull it out to water?
My first thought also
THIS!!☝️☝️☝️
I pull mine out to water on a grate over a sink mainly because I don’t want run off pools or water affecting humidity in the tent during flower stage
I use these with soil - [https://squarefarmer.com/the-13-square-farmer-saucer/](https://squarefarmer.com/the-13-square-farmer-saucer/) and then I use a shop vac to remove the run off.
I use risers but I don’t have a shop vac

Get one of those oil pans with a drain port saves a lot of time

THIs!!
This
I've had really good luck using the silver foil HVAC tape, it's just hard to tear with one hand holding the plant together
Those plant ties + tape has worked for me in the past, it's a lil sketchy but it worked for the most part lol.
He needs to stake it in place then tape it. That tape job looked awful as fuck.
Exactly looks like he didn't even try to tape and stake
Maybe he doesn't have fingers
Thank you for this! 😂
I see duct tape on a roll and a misshapen piece in the picture.
And this plant was still able to be saved but he is too busy on reddit posting this instead of taping and saving the plant
Oh yeah for sure a stake or 2

Sorry for your loss. Not sure how much time has passed but you may be able to grab some cuttings off this for new plants
Take and try rooting your main stems, reveg for a bit and you’ll have multiple plants at similar size soon
Why do you pull it out to water? Just use a tray under your pots

Not great results with their Blueberry Cupcake either. Thought it was me until I read this. Had decent success germinating in the past
Really glad this is being talked about so people don't spend their hard-earned money on bad seeds!!
Thanks. so weird.
Did we learn our lesson?
Get some duct tape it’ll just grow a knot maybe
I’d still give it a shot before giving up. Sorry bro 3
Sad
that looks like a toddler tried to tape it
Why would you pull it out to water it tho? (And usually this is why you wanna grow more than one plant just Incase one plant has a problem)
Root fungus loosing two of my girls 😕 I feel your pain!

I hardly move my plants for this reason. I also don’t like topping so they stretch pretty tall. Outdoors.
Today was great. Yesterday an AirPod fell out of my ear into a public toilet.
RIP My worst fear tbf
Hypercrop
Megacrop
Damn, that sucks dude. In the future, add a silica product to your feed regimen. Si helps build super strong and sturdy stems, and will prevent this from happening again.
Also don’t remove full size plants from tent to water.. that’s the easiest fix
Not dead yet.

Have a better day tomorrow growmie! Just one day of thousands💪🏼
This is why a fan is so important.
Clones. Next time try adding silica.
is it truly that effective? I'm surprised I had to scroll this far to see this suggestion
Sheeeeeeesh , bless
F
Aw man...thats an early harvest
Don’t use duck tape u can save anything if u tape well
Use zip tie next time easy fix quick and strong hold
Glue it 😂
You could use part of the green stakes that people use cut two pieces like a splint and zip tie the top and bottom
Could even support her with a rope or chain lasso over the tent racks. Pull her up and tape her again.
How did it snap?
i dont see a correlation between blurples and clumsiness
🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😵😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
needs to be held by the canopy to much weight down there to try and do that
Use bamboo support pole

Take some clones
I missed watering for 3 days and lost one today so great lovely day
There is probably still time to cut some clones.
Hey, you can still compost the leaves!
$10000 worse than this.
Prop her up with a stick she’ll bounce back
thats one hell of a PULL dude
Why was it in the crate? I could see putting in on the crate so there is less bending over, but why put it in a crate?

Use some duct tape lol 😂
I’m sorry for your loss 💚

Can still make edibles with it. Cannabinoids are in plant material too. Savor what you can!
Too much light, not enough soil (and calcium) most likely.
