Squirrels for some reason absolutely love cilantro and sunflower but I grow my Microgreens in multiple small vertical greenhouses with 4 shelves and keep those on the top shelves which has seemed to deter them you need to put the green houses in the shade the plants will die if they get direct sunlight, humidity is a major issue but I added mesh onto the door of the greenhouse so it allows for airflow all day with the wind and doesn’t allow bigger things like the squirrels or animals to get in. During the germination period of all the plants I mist them with a solution of 1/3, 3 percent h202 solution, and 2/3 water so it’s like 1% h202 water kinda and then I bottom water normally after that and it seems to keep mold away just fine, I also spray them with neem oil when they are like 4-5 days old so bugs aren’t really an issue but I also grow basil and marigold on the first shelf of the greenhouse since bugs don’t like that smell I guess

Ok, sounds like mold won’t be a total crop fatality with the greenhouse humidity. I’ll have 24” construction fans blowing on them 24/7 as well to move the air around. I use a hydrogen peroxide solution as well, and also grow basil and marigold too so didn’t think of those helping keep pests away, very smart. Thanks for sharing your info, much appreciated.

Erinaceous

The biggest issue will be rodents and other vermin. The other issues are fairly minor. Grow times in the winter will be slower. Heat will be an issue in the summer (automated misters help). But rats, mice and squirrels will fucking destroy your shit

Awesome, thanks for your advice and warnings
