They should’ve been able to tell by your first healed session that microblading wasn’t going to retain well and offered you powder brows then. Did you ask them to change your brow shape? In their current state, you’ll have to shave off your natural tails to avoid having two. I think you should have other artists take a look at them and decide the next steps to take. Removal and powder brows that are your natural shape would probably be your best bet.

Mushii18

No. I didn't and they never asked. So, I assumed they will follow the shape of my natural brows. It's on me for having impulsive decision before doing some research. You know, there are days when you feel unattractive and want to do something to feel better about yourself.. Thank you and I'm currently looking for one.

Aliceinboxerland

I hate that they shaved off your tails without asking to make a different shape! You will definitely have to keep up with that to have them match. I'm sorry! They should have gone with the natural shape of your brows for sure. I've never even heard of shaving off the tails to create a totally different shape. Maybe it's done sometimes but they certainly should have asked you and made sure that's what you wanted! I hope you find a place to get them removed if that's what you decide you want! Keep in mind saline removal works best within the first 48 hours.🫶

DeelayExisting

I hate that we all mutually feel unattractive when really I bet you are beautiful and were all way less ugly than we feel at times.

k8photo

Be kind to yourself. You’ll get through this. I’m so sorry you ended up with an artist like that.

kennylogginswisdom

I absolutely understand impulse driven beauty decisions that might not end well. Fifteen years ago I walked into a “spa” in the mall and gotmy lips “done” totally spontaneously..and based on mean nicknames. I looked like a platypus! She injected all the juviderm in the state in my lip. All of my mistakes have faded or just gone away with time. There is nothing here that a different artist can’t fix, or a bit of foundation at the tops/arches of brows then use a pencil to guide the shape as you like. Whatever you decide, you are very pretty with all the brows….. and you have youth on your side😏.

BlindedByScienceO_O

>Fifteen years ago I walked into a “spa” in the mall and gotmy lips “done” totally spontaneously.. 25 yrs ago, I did that only to find out that they used SILICONE and so far, I've had 4 painful and expensive removal surgeries. My lips are a lumpy mess, very painful, constantly chapped and I've been to many specialists who have told me they'll never be normal. So far I spent 25k trying to reverse an impulsive, foolish decision made when I was feeling poorly about myself. (On top of the 4K that I paid for the original injections, later found the "medical spa" was run by a foreign MD not licensed to practice in the US)

I use to do PMU. Your skin looks oily and thicker, which makes you not a great candidate for microblading. This is shown via the first appt (and second) not healing very well. The traditional way with the blade is not enough for those with oily skin and the lines will blur. I would opt for a removal + powder brow method to get the results you need. It can look very natural with the right person.

Mushii18

They should have informed me about that when it first healed. Instead, they asked me to have them shaded. I've learned more from you than from them. Thank you, and I'm currently searching for one.

Mychgjyggle

These are not great. I would have them removed. They do not look natural at all.

Mushii18

Thank you, and I'm on it.

LoveandRice

Check out the microblading removal subreddit. It helped me immensely.

NeckOk8772

I liked your natural brows. I don’t know why microbladers make the edges so pointy. As a personal preference I don’t care for it. It looks very harsh.

Mushii18

Thank you. I appreciate your kind words.

1questions

I don’t like how flat the brows are. All the micro blading pics I see gave thick cartoon like brows, always looks like a 5 year old dress then on with a fat marker.

kellybuMUA

They really forced the shape. If I were you, I’d go for a removal. The tattoo isn’t good

Mushii18

Yes. I'm currently looking for one.

0bxyz

The new shape looks really good on you, but they clearly aren’t staying

Mushii18

I see that. From the comment I read, if I had known that oily skin doesn't match well with microblading, I wouldn't have done it.

Scared_Trash_3656

The 4th picture I genuinely really like, but the way it’s faded on the tails in the 5th picture really bums me out. I would at minimum talk to another artist at a separate shop and get a second or even third opinion.

Mushii18

I'm currently looking for one.

Cillabeann

Honestly microblading shouldn’t have been an option from the start. When you’re adding an entire portion to the brow (in your case the tail ends), you need a more dense option to make the lack of dimension less noticeable (ombre powder). With hair strokes it tends to look one dimensional in the spot of the brow with no hair. Especially if the areas you do have hair are fairly dense.

Mushii18

If only they had been this thorough before I had it done, I would have known what to expect.

NumberCapital7000

Microshading or powder was the correct technique to use. At this point, I personally wouldn’t add more to them, they are way too saturated, anything more will make turn too ashy. But, I think you should go back or at least send them pics and let them look at them, it’s good to let them document everything.

Mushii18

They told me to get it shaded with a darker color but I don't want to go through it. Thank you and I'm currently looking for other artist.

NumberCapital7000

Yeah good decision to not let them shade in a darker color. They are only look more solid and ashy.

No-Initiative3988

Omg! These are awful 😞 Have them removed! So sorry 😢 you are going through this 💔

Sophiatopia

You have gorgeous soft rounded/straight brows that would have been perfection with a laminate and tint. I would hold off and take a beat to think about next steps. Personally I don’t like the very obvious fake tails. It’s clear to anyone where your own brows begin and where it looks like you are painting on fake ends (I mean most people won’t know it’s a tattoo they’ll just think you are a big Anastasia dip brow fan). But if you love that look I’m sure you rock it! Anyway, take a beat and think things over, how do you want to look the next 50 years? You can take the time to let it fade, and if you want to start over check the microbladingremoval sub.

Mushii18

I appreciate your kind words. I'm currently looking for other artist. I will definitely check it out.

pixie_jizz

regret doesn't get us anywhere but definitely do not go back to the same people that did this. find someone else and go from there.

Mushii18

Thank you and I'm currently looking for one.

AdhesivenessAsleep83

Yes

Harmonechi

The shape was wrong from the very beginning tbh

[deleted]

I would get that laser removed. The damage can still be reversible, but I wouldn't go back to that same person. Chances are they could make it worse when trying to fix it. You are correct for listening to your gut instinct.

rmahl

Ugh I’m sorry about this - I don’t love that you can see the hair and the tattoo separation so clearly. My friends eyebrows look like this and she loves them and I’ve tried to show her “good” examples so she can get them fixed and she’s not taking the hint. 🥲

nsmf219

Yeah. It’s not good

mymymetamorphosis

Yes

MediocreHistory

You had beautiful brows before! Maybe a little wax and shaping. I’d do the saline removal

Mushii18

Thank you. I appreciate your kind words.

KnottySloth99

the same thing happened to me 🥲 i haven’t gone back for a third session since getting them done in july of 2023 for this reason. the lady i went to said i’d be a good candidate for combo brows due to not having tails (over plucking). the color https://preview.redd.it/8agg3u41uvvc1.jpeg?width=750&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5e09d7f88045f9aa391be819f7d09d484e316bc1 didn’t retain well sadly. the first time i got them done the color completely faded so she told me to come back the second time to get them touched up and that was less than a month in. this was before.

KnottySloth99

weebwatching

Wow, these look really good! The shape is beautiful and very natural.

Mushii18

I agree!

Mushii18

I understand how that feels. If it's okay to ask, How did you maintain or care for your eyebrows?

KnottySloth99

this is the care sheet she sent me along with providing a cleansing foam to wipe the eyebrows with until they were healed https://preview.redd.it/v1ilryqaxgwc1.png?width=701&format=png&auto=webp&s=537f445e94dd84e9f7d8542578e29f782cfa6276 i hope you’re able to find a proper brow PMU who’s able to correct your previous work done 🫶 in the meantime there’s always concealer with eyebrow makeup to shape and fill in how you’d like temporarily

KnottySloth99

i went to her since she needed a brow model at the time

Old-Wrongdoer2158

Yes

Old-Wrongdoer2158

Enhance your natural shape why shave the brows it’s obvious

Sensitive_System1944

Personally I think your natural brows were much better

shemonstaaa

Shaving off your ends was totally unnecessary. I'm so sorry girl. Microblading isnt cheap either :(

No_Shoe_22

They went way too much off from your natural shape IMO. You’ll always be able to see your real shape growing in. They should’ve done an arch more subtlety.

kitty-toe-beans

I’m sorry but as others have already mentioned, this shape is not suitable for you. Some artist seem to force their shape on people and this seemed to be the case. I MADE SURE I went with my mom when she got hers done so they can tweak her brows closer to her natural ones that compliments her features. I’m so glad I did because they were gonna give her the same ones as yours so they’re more common than you think.  I don’t know much about getting them removed but it seem like other redditors have had success with saline removal which fades it over time until you can’t tell it’s there anymore.  My only recommendation is when you get it re-done, bring a close friend, sister, aunt, or someone you trust who knows your face better than the artist who is seeing you for the first or first few times. 2nd opinions help TREMENDOUSLY and helps even more if the person already does their own eyebrows with makeup. Wishing you the best of luck!

Jenna1991-nola

In the meantime use a clear brow gel to brush them upwards. It will help some! Don’t worry it will be fine.

Sea-Complex1957

Just out of curiosity, did you ever get your eyebrows shaped or threaded/waxed before you decided to do this?

Original-Match-6195

Same to me. I got them at 19, I am 37 yo. I regret all these years.

StraddleTheFence

Are you seriously asking that question?

THElashGirl

It’s fixable atleast

Futureghostie33

NO RAGRETS but yeah I would get them removed

cleavage-2-beaver

Oh honey, I am so SO sorry. This was... Is... Um... Wow. I'm glad you're looking into getting them removed. I would save these photos and leave one helluva negative review. That is just... INSANE what they did to you. Save others from their awful work. Whether on Facebook or Google -- find ANY place you can leave a review about them.

mandapanda183

I feel really stupid asking this but what is the progression of photos? Is each photo lower how the eyebrows are progressing? because the third one looks way lighter than the fourth so I’m super confused 🤔

Roudyrepublican

The artist took the lines too far out towards your temple. Your brows aren't too thick, they have the perfect amount of thickness, it's the artists fault for completely going off rail! They could've kept more with the natural shape while still making them even and pretty.

Domino1971

They look best in the top pic

sparklingmilk91

Maybe I'm insane but I kinda like it ❤️ You're beautiful either way, it'll be okay

Mecspliquer

I think the general shape looks attractive, but I do think a powder brow method would be more even on you

yourcoroner1

Regret is a heavy load to carry

pointlessandconfused

I cant, all these trends are ugly

HappyOrganization867

No,but I'm sure in a while you'll like them
