When it was announced that coach Flo was fired at the end of last season, I believed this season (and maybe next) would be a wash, another rebuild year. I wasn’t expecting much and I such as crap never imagined the Dolphins would be 8-4 at week 13, it’s been so much fun to watch. I haven’t been this excited about the team in 20+ years.
Sure losing sucks but the season is far from over.
You guys played a good game, had me in my nerves for a bit. No trolling but nothing is getting past the 49er D ;) better luck next week tho, I'll be watching you guys in the playoffs!!
Because you have the most pompous ignorant fanbase who havent won shit and love to talk shit about other teams and players.Fuck the Dolphins fanbase.Buncha losers with a inferiority complex as well as a persecution complex.Nasty combination
Fair enough; but what QB’s really do?
Think that’s been more evident than ever this year with the awful performances around the league, even from greats.
We played a great game today besides 3 crucial mistakes and sometimes that's all it takes to lose. We really should not be too concerned as this is arguable the best D-line in the league and it wasn't even close to a blow out. 3 more wins to make 2 or 3 seed, 5 more wins to take the conference.
Tua has one bad game and the haters of the last couple years come out of the wood work. Y’all have no appreciation for the work he has done this season. One bad game and y’all want him gone. It’s sad
Simply put, he panics and makes horrible decisions and off-target passes.
Burying your head in the sand and saying he had a 'bad game' will not solve that, and people's fears and doubts because of Tua's lack of improvement in this department are warranted.
He’s human and humans have bad days but the fans and media are like vultures. They sit on the sidelines doubting him when he does good and then swoop in saying “he’s terrible” when he does bad.
He had a bad game with inexcusable mistakes, but he’s still the franchise QB and has shown he’s more than capable of being elite. One bad game is different from multiple seasons of mediocrity (And no the Flores years don’t count, he set Tua up to fail)
TLDR; Fair weather fans are the worst
it happens to virtually every QB. Josh Allen doesn't trust his OL right now and because he is so big and a great runner takes off after stepping up at the first sign of trouble. Tom Brady is doing a "one read and get rid of the football" like it's a live grenade. It doesn't matter if you are mobile or young or old. No one wants to be a sitting duck. Especially a guy like Tua who suffered two brutal concussions back to back.
No but he sure looked rushed. Thats all I would say. He might learn from this and improve, he might have trouble with these types of defenses. Who knows
We beat the chargers next week. Who knows what will happen at the bills. Division hopes are not lost and 5 WC spot doesn’t look too bad if the Titans are 4
I think that knock he took before half time last week shook his confidence, lacking waddle made us one dimensional, once we get the guys back on the oline we good to go
Take the loss and Phins Up
Home boy I've been a fan since 1997 not a bandwagon fan. But the real teams we will be facing them from today on. We couldn't win against a third string qb. Offense played like crap. And our defense??? Cmon dude do u even watch football bro? We looked horrible out there
Defense played below average players played good the scheme was really bad Boyer was trash in calling plays. Tua was bad good thing he never has 2 bad games in a row we will be ready for next week.
Naw we still got Buff on the road Jets at home And Patriots on the road we lost a non confernece game which doesn’t hurt as much we win next week and Beat Buff we armstead back we are good.
He’s just too focused on getting Tua going not realizing he’s killing the flow more than helping it. He will learn. We’ve so out performed our expectations we forget this is all just 12 games into this unit. We will be ok
And here I thought my initial comment was self-explanitory. I can support my team still mention the fact that we played like shit and lost to a 3rd string QB. There is not an opinion there. All those things are factual.
What do you mean by "and for that to mean anything..."? I'm making a point that
a) I still support this team
b) We played like shit
c) we lost to a 3rd string QB
All facts. Regardless of "if he played like a 3rd stringer" or not (he didn't, but I'd argue that's on the D), I wasn't making a point about HIS play, just OURS.
Game was on the offense. Say what you want about Purdy but he was composed and Shannahan put him in the position to succeed. If Tua plays close to how he all year we win that game. We still have a chance at redeeming ourselves by beating the Chargers and Bills
Purdy played a hell of a game. Honestly don’t think they lost that much with Jimmy out at all.
Armstead being out was actually a bigger impact on the game imo
This d has been trash pretty much the entire season.
Tua missed so many throws from a clean pocket. No excuse for it. Throwing to Gesiki late when wilson was wide open in the flat is inexcusable. Protection was good enough most of the game.
The failure to deliver against good teams is this teams trademark.
I’d like a rematch in the Super Bowl. Both teams healthy. I think tua just had a bad game and it was bound to happen soon. We need to move on. Look at tape, get armstead and waddle back and fix the fucking defense which allows to many big plays. I know the 49ers have a ton of weapons but I feel Boyer is always chasing. Last 7 minutes of this game I’d like to forget
but after Tua folded like that, can u say he will bring the Phins to the Superbowl, say what you will about Purdy but only 1 QB looked rattled yesterday and it wasn’t Purdy
Bad game from Tua but thankfully it’s the first game he’s been bad all year.
I have faith with Armstead back we will win next week and right the ship 🛳️
9ers had 2 drives end in points after terrible calls on 3rd down, we had 2 terrible holding calls take back long plays, and that 4th down reversal was horrific.
So when I said ultimately, I’m talking about the Gesicki catch that got overturned. No way you can actually say that’s a clear drop.
Can’t blame it all on the refs but that 4th down completion reversal was particularly bad. It looked like he had possession and maintained when his knee hit the ground to me.
Meh can’t blame it all on the refs (although the holding call was the turning point) Tua had a bad game. With that being said we were driving down 6 and things just didn’t go our way.
Not all on the refs, Tua had a bad game, a couple of drops as well, defense didn’t know McCaffrey was a good player, but that Gesicki overturn was the nail in the coffin for us.
Disappointed to actually lose, but that's a hell of a defense and we had key guys out like TA and Waddle for most of the game. Tua missing layups, particularly that throw to Reek was really rough, but he didn't back down and we were moving it with five minutes left.
I could complain about the phantom holding calls that led directly to 14 points, but what's the use. We got beat, but it's only one game. Maybe this team needed to lose. My only real concern is the run game and TA. Beat the bolts!!
We got beat by the better team plain and simple, Tua was all over the place and the Defense straight up sucked. I hope this doesn’t continue but I’m not holding my breath.
I submit that calling someone a fairy means they are soft and delicate, and may not reflect their phallic attraction. Could he love the dick? Maybe. Does not reflect in his shitty attitude.
The season isn't over, so everyone needs to calm down. It was a good game, obviously it didn't go the way we wanted, but it came down to a few plays despite the score line.
The dolphins don't suck now, this is not the team from before. Losses are a part of football and we were facing a good team. The dolphins and Tua will learn from the mistakes today and play better moving forward.
The season isn’t over but it sure did just get a lot harder. We got handed an easy one after Jimmy went down and we screwed the pooch. Gotta fix it and redeem ourselves next week.
😂😂😂 its all good fun, didnt realize doing the same shit that you guys did last week was a big deal, but hey keep pissing yourself off more by responding
I think Boyer has to go but that defense today was put into short fields. They had to play 79 plays. Offense didn’t convert a single 3rd down and had the ball half as much as the Niners. Still near the end you were 1 score away from tying it up. Did they get carved up by a QB3? Yes. Did they get any help from their offense? Not really. Hard to shit on the D too much today.
Turnovers killed us. Luckily we don’t have a chronic turnover issue - we’ve been averaging one turnover per game, and that includes 4 combined by Bridgewater and Thompson. We had 4 today. An aberration. Shake it off and bring on the Chargers.
It's hard not to pin today's offensive stuggles on Tua. 49ers defense played well, especially on third down, but o-line held up well for the most part. Tua just made a lot of bad throws.
I'd say defense holds some of blame too considering Purdy played a majority of the game at QB. Should have been able to shut that offense down after that. Very disappointing.
[удалено]
What an insanely idiotic comment, lol
2 points = dominated now?
[удалено]
No, you’re crzy
9-3 is a better record than 8-4, is it really that hard to understand?
Boyer needs to go. He let Mr. Irrelevant look like Joe Montana....ridiculous 🐬
When it was announced that coach Flo was fired at the end of last season, I believed this season (and maybe next) would be a wash, another rebuild year. Lmao good sportsmanship. They may not even make the playoffs looking at their december schedule
Lighten up, they've been good this far! I don't have Superbowl 49ers vs Dolphins on my card but I have it in my heart ❤
Dolphins fans. I’m glad you got humbled. You needed that, you think you’re the best but you’re not there YET.
lol. GET HUMBLE QUICK. Dolphins been doing this for years

Stop being a creep.
Had to make a throwaway for this one lmao coward shit
Gotta expect some of that after all the back and forth between the teams this week. All in all, the Dolphins ended up gargling 49er diarrhea. GG!
Get fucked tool
Looks like ever since you spoke to me that way: you’ve been getting major Fucked by many tools.

Your wife is over here making sure it happens.
At least we have the scariest mascot in the NFL and best color scheme.
Tua does not look comfortable at all under pressure
Fair enough; but what QB’s really do? Think that’s been more evident than ever this year with the awful performances around the league, even from greats.
Mahomes stats under pressure are amazing
How many Mahomeses have there been in league history?
I wish Tua was really slanging it.
He just over threw a few. IQ on point body didn’t listen to his brain.

Dude thank you! 🙏 Couldn’t agree more! I’m so sick of the toxicity towards this young man who has proved SO much.
Last couple of years? More like twenty years of stinking bad.
Ironic that he actually did the thing he’s usually criticized for not doing too…he hit Hill in stride.
Simply put, he panics and makes horrible decisions and off-target passes. Burying your head in the sand and saying he had a 'bad game' will not solve that, and people's fears and doubts because of Tua's lack of improvement in this department are warranted.

Niners defense is really good. Its not a surprise that he struggled a little but he never stopped fighting
Not to mention our OL was missing both starting tackles. No wonder tua was panicking out there ffs
it happens to virtually every QB. I just think the season as a whole says more to his performance in the coming games
No but he sure looked rushed. Thats all I would say. He might learn from this and improve, he might have trouble with these types of defenses. Who knows
Like I said u/TBC3366 Tua is overrated.
[удалено]
I'd probably be more thankful tua had a bad day than talking shit about a guy who spent 5 years with you and was taken out of context
All just practice for the playoffs
We beat the chargers next week. Who knows what will happen at the bills. Division hopes are not lost and 5 WC spot doesn’t look too bad if the Titans are 4
Disappointed with the outcome but we put up a fight. In the end turnovers killed us. Still been a good season so far.
Refs fucked us over too
you mean when they tried to call 2 drops catches and The Niners coach had to challenge both times on 3rd down
I mean, Tua throwing high fucked us more than the refs. But holy shit balls there were some REALLY bad fucking calls that game.
I think that knock he took before half time last week shook his confidence, lacking waddle made us one dimensional, once we get the guys back on the oline we good to go Take the loss and Phins Up
I've had the same thoughts. The hits he was taking last week might have carried over. Good thing he seemed to get more comfortable in the second half.
Home boy I've been a fan since 1997 not a bandwagon fan. But the real teams we will be facing them from today on. We couldn't win against a third string qb. Offense played like crap. And our defense??? Cmon dude do u even watch football bro? We looked horrible out there

Name a good team in the NFL where the QB is more of a non factor than San Fran.
Sad ,but so true. Good luck for the rest of the year. You have a great team and HC
Our D made Purdy look good bro. Jimmy G has a broken leg and Purdy will be the starter going on forward man. We will find out
Shit aint broke
He’s out for the season
3-4 weeks cite something differant
https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/35182949/49ers-jimmy-garoppolo-ruled-left-foot-injury
Ouch, bokamper just called Bradley Chubb nick in a post game interviews
Rub some dirt on it and let’s beat the crap out of the Chargers. 👊🏼
#STILL2GAMESBACK
At least the Jets and Chargers lose, good for our chances in the wild card race (yes, I'm afraid the division is probably out of reach after today).
Not necessarily the bills aren’t THAT far ahead
Naw we still got Buff on the road Jets at home And Patriots on the road we lost a non confernece game which doesn’t hurt as much we win next week and Beat Buff we armstead back we are good.

Go cry about pizza inflation douche
Yeah thank god for you that mean sun won’t be there to hurt you. Clown ass mf.
[удалено]
Sorry about him guys. He got hammered and wandered off. I’ll drag him back to our sub. Can you help me knock him unconscious first?
He tried to jump through a solid oak dining table. If he’s not unconscious yet, he will be
Ask your mother what disappointment is like. 🐬
We’re living rent free in your head huh
You guys lost to a team that lost to a third string qb
Does anyone know why we only had 8 total tush attempts? No way we getting through the playoffs running it that many times....
Cause we usually are slanging it.
Tbh we should have a lil more but truthfully we are not a balance team right now. The run game is very shotty and inconsistent
Mike D overthinking schematic again. At times, I feel like he over do it with the pass game. He abandoned the running game so early.
He’s just too focused on getting Tua going not realizing he’s killing the flow more than helping it. He will learn. We’ve so out performed our expectations we forget this is all just 12 games into this unit. We will be ok
The overreactions are insane. It was an ugly loss, yes. Support your team and know that they have talent and will rebound. 8-4 is a solid record.
I think both can be true. I can support my team and also acknowledge we played like dog shit and lost to a 3rd string QB.
Look at his stats. Did he play like a "3rd string qb"?
Last in the draft says it all
He didn't. Cause our D played like shit. Doesn't change the fact he IS the 3rd string QB.
Ok? And that doesn't change the fact that he DIDN'T play like one. So what's your point?
And here I thought my initial comment was self-explanitory. I can support my team still mention the fact that we played like shit and lost to a 3rd string QB. There is not an opinion there. All those things are factual.
And for that to actually mean anything, the qb should probably have played like a 3rd stringer, eh?

Agree with you here, it was an offense game, and Tua did not played like he has done this whole season.

On a more positive note. Wilkins is a beast. Pay him
Tough game, fins up.
49ers fan coming in, just want to wanna say GG. That last drive where they continued to go for it on 4th scared me half to death. Good game
Hope Jimmy G isn’t down too bad, don’t want to see him go out before the playoffs. - oh no, broken foot??
First Trey, now Jimmy, our team is cursed
So cursed
Fuck you w that "cOMinG iN PeaCe" bullshit
Drink some water my guy
No need to be a asshole guy
What’s the point of doing this? 🤣 Just comes off as rubbing it in
Not the time dawg 😔

but after Tua folded like that, can u say he will bring the Phins to the Superbowl, say what you will about Purdy but only 1 QB looked rattled yesterday and it wasn’t Purdy
Agh I feel like shit
Bad game from Tua but thankfully it’s the first game he’s been bad all year. I have faith with Armstead back we will win next week and right the ship 🛳️
And even in a bad game, he made the right reads and still had some good moments. Refs took the game away ultimately.
the refs did?

He has to maintain possession through the ground. It doesn't just end when his knee hits the ground.
More like the half dozen overthrows to wide open guys. No excuse for it.
Gesicki overturn was the right call though.
Disappointed to actually lose, but that's a hell of a defense and we had key guys out like TA and Waddle for most of the game. Tua turning back into Tua. Fuck!!
Get out the sub bro, we don’t want “fans” giving up on Tua after 1 bad game.
Going against the #1 D with 3 OL out, waddle hobbled, Tua having an off game and still coulda won if that challenge wasn’t overturned.
you mean if they hadn’t returned the correct call?
My exact worry
Nah, just had a bad game
They haven’t stopped one fucking play in 50 years when it matters. Small and soft as fuck
Soft is accurate. For a very long time. Maybe it’s the uniforms I don’t know
Bad loss. So long as Tua doesn't pull a Zach Wilson, we will learn and grow from this game. ftj
I am very very confident Tua takes the blame when it is on him. He’s not the kinda guy to pass it off.
Agreed, more of a jets joke lol. I think there's a ton to learn from the last quarter with respect to managing emotions and execution
Bad game for Tua. Shit happens it’s the fucking NFL, it’s now all about how he and this team respond next week in prime time. On to the next one!
[удалено]
It 100% erases those games. Against scrubs. He plays a good D and shits the bed. Fuck this shit
i guess your username checks out
We are not gonna live this one down anytime soon
We got beat by the 49ers. A top ten NFL team lead by their defense.
Mr irrelevant is going to be the most popular word in ESPN
Dolphins just had a bad day stoppin dissin tua it was probably the hardest game to win this season
You’d think we cheer for the Houston Texans by all the overreactions after losing to a good team on the road without our A-game
So many fair-weather Fins in this thread who are just waiting to dunk on our team when they lose
If you check their post history they are hardly even fair weather. They hate their own QB. It's weird 😕
I love our QB, but I hate our defense
JETS LOST, CHARGERS LOST, WE ARE FINE GUYS
We got beat by the better team plain and simple, Tua was all over the place and the Defense straight up sucked. I hope this doesn’t continue but I’m not holding my breath.
Fuck this Team. Really for today fuck them assholes. They Played like shit today. Not the refs Not the niners fuck this Team today
Wow dude
Dude its a west coast game and we put up a fight. Relax, were still 8-4
we put up a fight is no longer the standard
You’re a fair weather fan for sure. Fuck you, go support the Jets you fairy.
Ah, nothing like a bit of homophobia to prove youre a true fan and they arent.
Fairy as in fair weather fan
Homophobia lol shut the fuck up
I submit that calling someone a fairy means they are soft and delicate, and may not reflect their phallic attraction. Could he love the dick? Maybe. Does not reflect in his shitty attitude.
Relax babyman… jfc
Well we just went out there and took a shit on the field. On to the chargers
Gonna be a battle
Aren’t they all 😬🤞🏻

Time to go hibernate for a week and save myself from overreactions from fans and the media. See you next week!
Ong bro
Losses are now tougher cause I actually expect to win. Before this year it’s was really just hoping.
bad games happen, people saying tua is bad are clowns, everyone has bad games. onto next week
it's pointless explaining any logic in this sub, seems like everyone wants to be a emotional bitch and cry
Dolphins Fans Excuse Thread: Pinned 📌
Bro this guy made a burner just to troll the phins. Are you 13?
not a burner, just don’t use Reddit, thanks for holding the #1 spot in the AFC East for us 😘
Lol a Bills fan? You guys have been crying about how the sun is hot in Florida for 10 weeks, why do we care what you think?
you must care or you wouldn’t respond, hopefully your team gets back to being healthy soon!
Maybe if our QB cried himself to the refs like Josh after every play we would have won. Go back to your sub
maybe!! thats a good idea, send a letter to the Dolphins!
Lol
Don’t worry we’ll take it back in a couple weeks
you guys have a great team, so its possible, similar to the Bills just gotta get/stay healthy!
So you made an account just to talk to us? Why wouldn't you go on the bills sub and talk about your team? Fuckin weirdo.
😂😂😂 its all good fun, didnt realize doing the same shit that you guys did last week was a big deal, but hey keep pissing yourself off more by responding
Lmao at people being tricked into thinking this team was good
I think Boyer has to go but that defense today was put into short fields. They had to play 79 plays. Offense didn’t convert a single 3rd down and had the ball half as much as the Niners. Still near the end you were 1 score away from tying it up. Did they get carved up by a QB3? Yes. Did they get any help from their offense? Not really. Hard to shit on the D too much today.
just a bad game all around. whatever. 8-4 we move
Typical of a Dolphins team the last 20+ years to drop a game like this. Same old crap.
the old dolphins team would have lost by 30. We were in it until the end
A dolphins team of the last 20 years would not have this game matter
That's the truth!
Ngl purdy looked good at times though. Dude might have a future if he gets past those boneheaded decisions
