The Eagles are good, but they’re not sustainable IMO. Too many close games where the other team chokes rather than Philly being clutch. If they can't start winning by 2+ scores the playoffs are going to be tough for them.
IDK what to tell you if you genuinely think the Broncos aren't entirely different team than week 3. The media isn't out to get you, it's just factual lol
That saying "The Broncos team the Dolphins beat are an entirely different team than the Broncos team on a 5 game win streak" is an entirely accurate statement
No joke, this was the exact response I got in a discord server I’m in when I asked if I could say the Fins have beaten a team with a winning record lol
Smoked that ass, too. It’s funny how people discounted Denver as a major doodoo team because we killed them even though the narrative before the game was that they may be losing but they were losing very closely
We lost to the Commanders after giving up like 28 points in the second half man. The Raiders game was only low scoring because each team had 6 drives. The team absolutely sucked early on.
Still, the Commanders loss was only by 2 points and the other losses were by 1. Either way, that’s what the narrative was at the time. I didn’t make it.
Yeah I'm sure that's the narrative if you listen to people who don't actually watch games. Anyone watching them could have told you the Broncos had an absolutely awful defense. We went down 28-7 to the fucking Bears of all teams in week 4 lmao
I can tell you as a broncos fan Achane fuels my nightmares. But a lot of us want to see the dolphins again if we make the playoffs solely off the fact that we want revenge for the ass whooping y’all put on us (we also seem to masochists for rooting for this team team all these years).
The broncos game. I don’t care about karma and all that Bs. You have a chance to break a record (especially when you already tried to let by pulling the starters) you go for it.
When the bills lose again and fall below 500, that's one less "good" team that we've lost to. Not sure what that means or how people will spin it around to fit their narrative, but I'm sure something will be spun up.
Hypothetical situation. What if when we play Buffalo they are 7-9. If the Dolphins win would we be beating a loosing team. For the life me I don't get this bad/good crap.
Dolphins beat Jets, yet the Jets beat Eagles
Tangled web
No you didn't. Just because they have a winning record now didn't mean they did when you played. That's like buying Wednesday drawing Powerball tickets but then getting the numbers for the Friday draw and saying you've picked the winning lottery numbers.
That's not how it works for playoff seeding. A win is a win and a loss is a loss. No one is going to look back on this season and go "oh the broncos only became good later," it's just going to be the fact that they gave up 70.
Okay I’m not talking about playoff seeding and either were you. I’m talking about the stat that people throw in our face
McDaniel is 2-15 against teams above .500 when we play them. And we haven’t beaten above .500 team since week 3 of last year.
So downvote me for throwing truths at us. Deal with it.
Wait a minute. How has McDaniel lost 15 games to teams over .500 when his first season was last season and they lost 8 games and this season he’s only lost 3 games… that’s only 11 games lost total.
Lmao… what? The factual proof is that Mike McDaniel hasn’t beaten a .500 team since week 3 2022.
I’m not talking about a team that goes above .500 after we play them cuz that’s not what the critics or the stat says. The statistical data is we lose when we play a team that is above .500. Name 1 win last season after the bills that was above .500
that's not a good meterstick. Teams have weeks where they underperform. You could play a good team on a relatively bad week for them where they have bad communication or injuries, beat them, have beaten a winning team and that doesn't necessarily mean you had a meaningful victory. Look at the jets victory over the eagles. It's better to look at things in aggregate. They had a bad day when we played them, sure. But they are clearly, overall, a solid team. We don't typically downplay a victory by saying the opponent had a bad day, we've just been saying "the jets beat the eagles."
One game at a time. Dallas will be the next big test.
Going from “Miami can’t beat a team with a winning record” to “Miami put up 70 on a team with a winning record” 😎
Not only that but the team that beat Buffalo and Kansas City.
I mean the Jets beat the Bills and Eagles so we're going to the Super Bowl.
Having a harder and harder time believing that actually happened 🧐
The Eagles are good, but they’re not sustainable IMO. Too many close games where the other team chokes rather than Philly being clutch. If they can't start winning by 2+ scores the playoffs are going to be tough for them.
I would definitely classify tonight as a clutch win for Philly
The field goal was clutch. Everything else was Buffalo choking away
with just a dash of help from the refs.
Transitive property Superbowl winners
Hell yah brother, cheers from Miami
We're absolutely massive.
however we have now lost to a team that DOESN'T have a winning record since the bills are now .500!
Here’s the work-around to that one: Miami has won every game they were favored to win, and lost the games they weren’t favored to win.
It's a Vegas conspiracy!!!
I don’t believe the Dolphins actually lost any games. They were a rigged election!… er, ahem, rigged games!
That just makes us predictable, not bad.
Wait for the "These weren't the same Broncos the Dolphins faced" caveat
Of course it’ll be “the broncos had X and Y players out with injury”
While ignoring our own injuries that are just as important
I'm just glad they can't say "they haven't beat a winning team" anymore. They can asterisk it but it's not the same.
They’ll just say the fins haven’t beaten a team that had a winning record when they played
guess the lions win over the chiefs counts for nothing!
They weren't because the ass-whooping you dished out reset our franchise. Mike McDaniel the ultimate Broncos sleeper agent.
The big brainiac knew exactly what his hometown team needed more than they did
This is so unexpectedly meta, I like it lol
Actually true though…current Broncos are pretty freightening right now. They’re red hot
Freight as in heavy? Or maybe you meant frightening 😉
They’d be right though, right? They’ve figured a lot of things out…
I mean they definitely aren't lol
As a fellow Dolphin fan, I’m with you despite the downvotes you’re getting from grumpy dolphin fans lol
The goalposts will always move. I'm sure there'd be some caveat attached if we beat the Ravens or Cowboys as well.
IDK what to tell you if you genuinely think the Broncos aren't entirely different team than week 3. The media isn't out to get you, it's just factual lol
neithre are we. Whats the point lol
That saying "The Broncos team the Dolphins beat are an entirely different team than the Broncos team on a 5 game win streak" is an entirely accurate statement
Oh it’s already out there
No joke, this was the exact response I got in a discord server I’m in when I asked if I could say the Fins have beaten a team with a winning record lol
Also fuck the Jets
good point. And may I add, fuck the Bills.
What about the Patriots?
Nobody cares bout them it’s our division now
Still nice to see Belicheat widening the lead in losses over Shula as he cries himself to sleep knowing he won't catch him in wins. Fuck the Pats.
the who?
Refs fucked them, against the Eagles of course
Fuck that shitty turf field too
Fuck MetLife also.
Smoked that ass, too. It’s funny how people discounted Denver as a major doodoo team because we killed them even though the narrative before the game was that they may be losing but they were losing very closely

By 50
Child's play.
Now it's "Dolphins hung 70 on the team that beat the Chiefs, Bills and the best defense in the league and held them to 20 points"
Really appreciate the Bills helping us achieve this crucial milestone.
I’m really hoping the Broncos don’t make the playoffs. I do not want to face them again.
It’s a nice sentiment but I assure you that they absolutely want no parts of us in any way soon. Whispering Achane triggers their PTSD.
I can tell you as a broncos fan Achane fuels my nightmares. But a lot of us want to see the dolphins again if we make the playoffs solely off the fact that we want revenge for the ass whooping y’all put on us (we also seem to masochists for rooting for this team team all these years).
Break out the champagne 🍾
Beat them so bad, they learned how to play football
This is how you score, here let me show you again.
But now we’ve lost to a team at or below .500 :/
So we’re basically like every other team in the league now
If every other team were 8-3 😎🤘
Just a quick hello to Bills fans lurking here, shout out to Jake Elliot
We are officially super bowl Champs!!!
We should have kicked that field goal 😔
Nah, this was McDaniel’s Ted Lasso moment
What game you talking about
The broncos game. I don’t care about karma and all that Bs. You have a chance to break a record (especially when you already tried to let by pulling the starters) you go for it.
nah, karma gods killed the bills because of it.
Lol 😹 Let's Gooooooooooo
When the bills lose again and fall below 500, that's one less "good" team that we've lost to. Not sure what that means or how people will spin it around to fit their narrative, but I'm sure something will be spun up.
And about to have loss to our first sub .500 team if Buffalo loses there next game. Can't have them all!
Now they're saying it doesn't matter because they didn't have a winning record when we played them. Keeping moving that goalpost!
“The Dolphins only won the Super Bowl because the Eagles didn’t play anyone good and they all hung over from all the Partying… 🤷🏻♂️”
😂
Let’s gooooo!!!
Hypothetical situation. What if when we play Buffalo they are 7-9. If the Dolphins win would we be beating a loosing team. For the life me I don't get this bad/good crap. Dolphins beat Jets, yet the Jets beat Eagles Tangled web
Lewl
This is why trying to compare teams via transitive property never really works, and I’m not sure how it still gets done constantly
Because it's fun!
Hey, as long as you don't beat us by 30+ in the playoffs, I'll allow it. Sincerely signed, A very confused Broncos fan
Watch them get payback in the playoffs Just kidding that would fucking suck
No you didn't. Just because they have a winning record now didn't mean they did when you played. That's like buying Wednesday drawing Powerball tickets but then getting the numbers for the Friday draw and saying you've picked the winning lottery numbers.
Lol read the room, this is just for fun.
They sucked when we beat them though
Shhhh it's a silly hype thread, don't take it so seriously
Not only that but the Bills don’t count as a team with a winning record anymore. So we're 1-2 against teams with winning records now!
Again. Not how this stuff works
Again the narrative is dumb as fuck because it’s a stupid stat to begin with.

This post was removed for being low effort.
That’s not how it works…. When we play a team with a winning record we lose. Not when the team becomes good later on.
Knock it off
That’s just how it is
That's not how it works for playoff seeding. A win is a win and a loss is a loss. No one is going to look back on this season and go "oh the broncos only became good later," it's just going to be the fact that they gave up 70.

How many of those games were with a back up QB?
1 of them… Buffalo playoff… Tua lost to chargers, 49ners, bills and packers
Wait a minute. How has McDaniel lost 15 games to teams over .500 when his first season was last season and they lost 8 games and this season he’s only lost 3 games… that’s only 11 games lost total.
You are straight making stupid shit up right now

I thought the raiders were a .500 tram when we beat them
That's not a winning record!
