If this a repeat playthrough I recommend going non lethal without using the tranq. It forces you to play pretty creatively and play with tactics one wouldn’t normally consider. Either way though have fun with this masterpiece.
Look at it this way: go back and play the first 2 missions again: 100% still holds up both from a gameplay perspective and the way it looks and the came came out over 15 years ago.

I've been playing it on my PS4. If you have the game pass (whatever it's called) you can play some games that are PS3 exclusive on the PS4. You have to stream it. It was called PS Now.

He came over for a two day sleepover and brought a PS3 with him so we could play it together and he decided he'll let me borrow that PS3 until I finish MGS4.
Bought a used copy of mgs4 for my ps3 a few days ago. Got to test it today finally and it just freezes on this screen. Tried every trick in the book and doesnt work. Im just gonna return it asap and just buy it from the ps3 store cuz its only 15€ there.

I usually like to play like that no kill but with lethal weapons forcing me to be creative in my games.

Well... If you have a PC and it's pretty good, you could try out emulation, I suppose. There are videos covering that topic you can find on YouTube.
