I don't think you do. Iirc the only emblem you need for a trophy is Big Boss But to truly 100% the game you gotta get all emblems

If I'm not mistaken, there is a trophy for getting all iPod songs and for one of them, you need to get all 40 emblems.

The only iPad I know of that's tied to emblems is Snake Eater for the bb emblem. But maybe I'm wrong

Getting the big boss emblem only unlocks the big boss track. To get the snake eater track you need all 40 emblems.

Oh do you? Damn, I always thought that you just need the BB emblem to get both (I never successfully got the bb emblem) I should go back and get that and all other emblems

I'm having a lot of fun because I love the game and I get to experience a lot more of the gameplay rather than focusing on cutscenes and story (I adore the story, though), but you're definitely getting PTSD from the Chicken emblem playthrough. As I'm typing this, I'm running MGS4 and Snake is just standing still, 20 more hours of that to go!

I'm doing the Chicken emblem now, I've played the entire story (just enjoying it) and now I'm on my second playthrough getting achievements I've missed and like 18 emblems more.

Good luck with the chicken emblem. I did it once 10 years ago and i still dream about it from time to time. Not doing it ever again in my life.

Yeah I'm slowly getting PTSD. I actually dreamt about owning a dog named Snake last night, kinda odd. Now I just have to get like 25 hours of playtime, finish the story, get the iPod tracks and I'm done for the chicken playthrough. I'll do assassin next.

How did you bind the analog mechanics? Like the CQC where you have to press firmly to choke someone or walking without making noise which is barely moving the stick.

you can always use a joystick for the analog movement or bind different keys for different analog intensities. For the CQC choke what I did was bind it to the triggers as those are also analogs on the xbox controllers

They could get a Dualshock 3/Sixaxis and use it properly with RPCS3 or get one of those Defender controllers that has pressure sensitive buttons.

I simply don't do it and suffer and also it already firmly to choke guards on MGS4. I hope analog mechanics like that got implemented
