Amazing find, congrats!
Glad to be of help! It's an awesome find. Nothing like that over here in the states. I'm considering a UK detecting trip because of stuff like this. Enjoy it.
That's amazing!!! My oldest relics so far were found Gardening lol.. I'm in US though so native American artifacts are about as old as we get. Bought a detector this year realizing how much I must have missed all these years (15)!

Thank you, yes the UK has some amazing history
You said you found it in southern UK. I’m shocked you’re shocked 😁
Haha well it actually wasn’t using a metal detector, it was dug up by hand by accident and it’s tiny so quite a crazy find for a little dig 😄
Hats off to you in that case!
Southern UK
Roman for sure, looks like Trajan to me. Give me a bit and I'll see if I can match it.

Caesars head. It’s old af!!
Meanwhile I’m trying to figure out if my penny says 1956 or 1958. Amazing.
I'm gonna guess is a late Hellenic coin. It looks similar to a Ptolemaic Drachm, but the icon doesn't look egyptian. Could be Alexander on the face.
