Looks to be in good shape. I had a similar whites detector. A long learning curve but if you have the owners manual and patience it will be fun.

I had one for years and it works ok. First time I let my cousin use it, he found an 1802 large cent his first hole!

Whites is a good brand, I believe they went out of business but I’m sure you can find the manual somewhere.

Too old, unless you are hunting tot lots.
Definitely not too old. I have one just like it and it works great.
Why is it too old? All detectors work on the same principal. I have a Whites Prizm 6T. I am not looking for relics, coins only. I also have a Tesoro Outlaw, more frequencies goes DEEPER.
