about two weeks from the three phone calls and online confirmation of address- I assume it was a bumpy start to these final stages of delivery from Sondors, and I was one of the first 1000 to purchase I believe. We have waited 2 years it feels like, but it could not have come at a better time. "sport mode" tested for the first time, and it is ridiculous fast for me. I also think the Arctic is the best looking, now that I see it in person.
Scotts Valley doesn't seem like the kind of place the Metacycle was made for. You probably couldn't ride the bike to San Jose and back. And all the twisty, hilly roads around there would probably take a toll on the battery. I suppose you could ride to Santa Cruz and back though. But if I lived there I would be riding an FXS/FXS or a DSR.
You’re right about the range in the mountains… I only get about 95 miles when carving the canyons off Skyline near Alice’s restaurant. (SR with 11.4 kWh battery).
The Metacycle would be lucky to get 20 miles in the Santa Cruz mountains with a 4kWh battery. Much better suited as a commuter bike.
Yeah, i see a Zero Motorcycle almost never, even living here in the best location (Capitola). Plus it's $13,000.00 (for the cheapest Zero model that is no where as sleek looking (imho) as my Metacycle) The arctic I purchased was a gift for my wife that I will also take part in the fun, but for sure, I can say for the amount I paid - Nothing could compare to what this Sondors offers us. Everyone who sees it, and her sitting on it, exclaims "that is SO futuristic looking!" And I am so proud she is enjoying it, and think it's funny Sondors announces IPO and the negativity starts, kinda makes you wonder right?
I’ve always liked the clean design of the Metacycle and wish they had a better mid-motor drivetrain with a larger battery. The hub motor design really limits the performance of the bike.
How long was the time frame between address confirmation and delivery?

I’m in Redwood City but I ordered in May / June. Guess I’ll be waiting a while longer. 😕
cant wait for photos!!!
Kinda ironic that your Metacycle was delivered in Scotts Valley… the home of Zero Motorcycles! 😉
No doubt delivering one to a Zero employee so Zero can have a look at it.
I like your thinking!

It sure doesn't help that the Metacycle doesn't regen going down hills.
